“Leila!” Myolie screamed from the front door, “Hurry up! I’m about to leave!”
“I’m coming, give me 10 more minutes.” Leila yelled from the bathroom.
For some odd reason Leila’s alarm didn’t go off this morning causing her to oversleep.
Myolie looked at her watch, “Leila, I can’t wait any longer. I have to go prepare for my surgery. I’ll ask Bosco to give you a ride.” Myolie yelled before closing the door.
Leila turned off the water and opened the door, “What did you say?” She looked around and didn’t see Myolie. “Where did she go?” Leila couldn’t think about that now, she rushed into her room to get change. She pulled out a pair of white pants and a black shirt.
Suddenly the doorbell rang, “Who could that be?” Leila said as she slipped on her white blazer. She grabbed her purse off of her desk and went to open the door. “What are you doing here?” Leila questioned.
“Myo said you needed a ride.” Bosco answered, “You know, maybe it’s time you get a new car. Your car is always broken.”
“I know la, I just don’t have time yet.”
”Well are you ready to go?”
“Yeah, I’m ready. Let’s go.” Leila said as she was about to step out the door.
“You sure you’re ready?” Bosco asked again.
“Why wouldn’t I be?” Leila asked and Bosco pointed to her feet, she still had her slippers on. “Ah! Where are my shoes?” Leila ran around the apartment frantically trying to find them. She finally found them and was ready to go. She grabbed her purse again, “This time I’m ready.”

Bosco pulled into his usual spot in the parking lot.
“Uh…thanks for the ride.”
“No prob, I have to come here too. No point in polluting the air some more.” He joked
They got out of the car and Bosco locked it with his remote.
“So have you had breakfast yet?” Leila asked Bosco “If you haven’t would you care to join me? My treat, just to say thanks for the ride.”
“Sure, I don’t see why not. I wouldn’t turn down a free meal.”
They headed to the canteen, got their food and sat down.
“I was thinking about going to play tennis this weekend, are you free?” Bosco asked.
“Are you trying to ask me out?” Leila asked back
Bosco lifted his head from his plate and looked at Leila. “I was just thinking we could create another opportunity for Myo and Ray.”
“Oh….yeah…that sounds like a great idea.” Leila said in a slightly disappointed tone.

“So how do you guys want to play? Singles or pairs?” Myolie asked
“Let’s play in pairs.” Leila answered.
“How should we divide? Guys against girls?” Raymond asked
“That wouldn’t be fun, the two of us would totally bet the girls hands down. How about Myo and Ray be on one team and I’ll be on a team with Ms. Violence here. She’s so aggressive, it could be an advantage.”
“What are you talking about!” Bosco began to run off. Leila began chasing Bosco around trying to hit him. “Come back here you…you”
Myolie and Raymond couldn’t help but laugh at their friends for acting like little children. They followed the two to the tennis court.
Bosco and Leila weren’t doing too well at first. They kept getting in each other’s way, whereas Myolie and Raymond worked well with each other. As the game progressed, Leila and Bosco were actually doing a lot better. The game ended with Myolie and Raymond winning.
Myolie gave Raymond two high-fives.
“So which of you two are treating us to lunch?” Raymond joked.
“He is”
“No she is”
“It’s your fault that we lost.” They both blamed each other.
“We should do this again next Saturday,” Leila suggested, “we’ll bet you guys next time”
“Raymond and I can’t” Myolie told her.
“Why not?” Bosco asked, “You two have a date?” he asked in a teasing tone, but hoping it may be true.
“Kind of?”
“Really?” Bosco and Leila asked excitedly.
“We’re doing a photoshoot for Happily Ever After.” Myolie reminded them, “Remember I told you guys about it after the ball.”
Leila and Bosco nodded as they recalled Myolie mentioning it to them, “If you guys aren’t doing anything, maybe you could come with us.” Raymond suggested.
Leila and Bosco didn’t want to agree, but they couldn’t come up with any excuses at the moment.
“Come on you guys…” Myolie begged.
“Yeah, we’ll come, it sounds like it’ll be fun,” Leila agreed.

“Hi, we have an appointment with Ms. Chan.” Myolie informed the receptionist.
“Please come with me, Ms. Chan is waiting for you in the photo studio.” The four followed the receptionist, “Ms. Chan they’re here.”
“Hi, Ms. Chan.” Myolie excitedly extended her arm for a handshake, “I hope you don’t mind us asking our friends to come with us.”
“No, not at all, I met Dr. Wong and Dr. Tong last time when we discussed about the fashion show. And please call me Sharon.”
A stylish guy wearing a dark pair of khakis and a nice light blue button dress shirt, carrying a camera walked towards them.
“This is our photographer, Matt Yeung.” Sharon introduced, “Matt, this is Dr. Lam and Dr. Wu.”
“You forgot to mention that I’m your wonderful boyfriend,” Matt added with a smile. Then he turns to Raymond and Myolie, “Hi, it’s nice to meet you, you can just call me Matt.”
“I’m Raymond”
“and I’m Myolie. These are our friends Leila and Bosco.”
“Okay, so we’re planning to start in the studio them move to our outside scenery and do some shots there.” Matt explained the plan.
“Sounds like a good plan to me.”
“The wedding gowns and tuxes are in the changing rooms. There are a total of 8 outfits we want you to model.”
“Wah, that many huh?” Myolie exclaimed.
Right at that moment 3 people came into the studio. The younger woman was supporting the arm of the old man.”
“Gong Gong, Por Por (Grandpa and Grandma on mother’s side), Louisa Jei (Jei is a polite way of referring to a female older than yourself, it means older sister).” She walked over to them. She held her grandma’s arm as they continue to head towards the group. “What are you guys doing here?” she asked.
“Mr. Chow told me he had found someone to model my wedding gowns. I had to come see who they were, they must be pretty special.” Louisa told Sharon and gave them a smile.
“Ms.So, it’s an honor to be able to wear the wedding gowns you design. The one I wore the other night at the auction was absolutely gorgeous.” Myolie said excitedly.
“Thank you, I’m sure you looked beautiful in that wedding gown.”
“And who might you two be?” Mr. Chow asked Bosco and Leila.
“They’re our friends.” Raymond said.
Mr. Chow studied Bosco and Leila, “Would you two be interested in modeling?”
“Us?” Bosco and Leila asked rather surprised.
“It wouldn’t be wedding gowns, but the traditional Chinese wedding outfits.”
“Really?” Leila’s eyes widen, “That would be so cool. I mean I would love to model the “quan quah”, they look so beautiful.”
The old woman smiled, “Not too many of the younger generation cares about old traditional stuff anymore, I’m so glad you like it.”
“Sharon, do you think you can arrange for them do model our new line?” Her grandfather asked her.
“Well I thought I’d stay her to follow up on Raymond and Myolie’s photo shoot, but I can call Gor or Endy, since it is their project.”
“Your Gor’s out of town.” Louisa reminded her.
“Then I’ll just call Endy, I bet he’s in his office working on it right not.”
“Someone called my name?” Endy asked. Everyone turned their attention to the door and saw a young man in his twenties wearing a pair of ripped jeans and a plaid shirt. “Morning Yeh, Mah (Grandpa and Grandma on father’s side.), Louisa Jei , Sharon Bui Jei (older female cousin), and everyone else.”
“Isn’t it a bit late for morning?” Bosco whispered into Myolie’s ear.
“Hey, I was just about to call you. We found someone for our line of the quan quah”
“Great, where are they?”
“Bosco, Leila, let me introduce you to my cousin Endy Chow. He’s the vice-president of our company.”
The 4 of them could not believe their ears, had they hear wrong? This guy who was dressed like he was from some sort of rock band was the VP of the company. Remembering how he referred to Mr. and Mrs. Chow, they knew he was the son of their son, and he would take over the company one day.
They continued to stare at him.
“Is there something wrong?” Endy asked.
“Umm no, you just look so young and you’re the VP…anyways, I’m Leila Tong. It’s nice to meet you Endy, you don’t mind me calling you that do you?”
“No, not at all, and the pleasure it all me. So are you guys ready for the photo shoot right now?”
“Right now? Don’t we need to get a photographer and have the studio set up first or something?” Leila asked.
“The studio is already set up, and no need to worry about a photographer, we have Matt…”
“Actually, you don’t Endy.” Sharon interrupted, “Matt’s doing our photo shoot for the bridal gowns.”
“It’s okay, I’ll do it then.”
“YOU?” Bosco and Leila asked surprisingly
“No need to worry, I double as a photographer.”
The gave him an unsure look.
“I’m serious, I am a photographer, I’m very professional. Maybe a little rusty right now, but it’ll be fine once I start snapping away.”
“We believe you, It’s just odd to have the vice-president of the company taking our photos.”
“Let me take you two to the studio and so you can get change and I’ll go grab my camera and equipment from my office and we’ll get started.”
Bosco and Leila nodded, “Well see you guys later,” Bosco said as they waved to Myolie and Raymond.
