She sat on her bed and picked up her teddy bear. Holding it out to arms length she began to talking to herself, “What should I do? Raymond’s a good guy, in fact he’s a great guy. He’s thoughtful and caring. I mean I feel safe with him. Should I give him a chance?” She lets out a sigh, “But what about Fung? What if he comes back?”
She hugs her bear, “Teddy, what do you think?” Myolie tried to go to sleep and not think about it anymore, but how could she…

Raymond laid in bed staring at the ceiling, “Should I have not told her? Did I scare her?” Raymond was confused about his decision.

The next morning, Myolie got up, changed and got ready to go to work. She brushed her hair before walking out of her room. Placing the brush down on her make-up table she set it down next to the hairclips Raymond bought her the previous night. Picking one up she used it to clip up part of her hair. Adjusting it a couple of times, she was finally satisfied. This morning she decide to leave earlier just in case Raymond would come pick her up, she didn’t know what she would do if saw him so soon.

Raymond got up and washed his face. He reached out to grab his solution and contacts holder when he remembered, “No, contacts.” He put on his glasses he looked at himself in the mirror, ‘They make you look more charming, more handsome.’ He remembered Myolie saying.
Unsure if he should go pick Myolie up this morning, he decided to go and see if she’d left yet. Driving pass her apartment complex he noticed her car was gone already, so he continued on his was as well.

Bosco took a seat next to Myolie “Wah, so cutesy today, ah?” Bosco teased.
Myolie raised her eyebrow at him, “What’s that suppose to mean?”
“Nothing at all, just hair clips don’t seem like your style. You’ve never liked things so kiddy. I mean since when did you start wearing them? ”
“Since Raymond said it makes me look cute.”
“Raymond said so, eh?”

Leila ran up behind Raymond and put her hand on his shoulder, he turned around and looked at her, “Hey, you’re wearing glasses. I almost didn’t recognize you. I can’t remember the last time you’ve worn glasses.”
“Yeah and so?”
“I thought you didn’t like wearing them.”
“I didn’t”
“So what made you change your mind?”
“Myolie said they look good on me. They make me look more handsome,” he said proudly.
“I see, Myolie said they look good….you know, I recall telling you that years ago, but you didn’t appreciate it at the time.”
“How did you expect me to believe you? You were practically laughing the entire time you told me”
“I was not, you were just too self conscious.”

Surprisingly the entire day had pass by and Raymond and Myolie didn’t run into each other once.
Myolie was waiting for the elevator. When the door opened she saw Raymond standing in there, she stepped in as well. “Hey”
“Hey”
“I…” They both started,
“Go ahead” They continued to say at the same time.
“I see you listened and wore your glasses.”
“You’re wearing the hairclips…”
There was silence.
“About last night…” Myolie started but was interrupted by Raymond.
“I’m sorry if I scared you. I understand it was kind of sudden, but ever since that time you fainted I…I guess I started to like you. The thought of something bad happening to you scared me. I didn’t want to lose you…”
“To be honest Raymond, I’m not sure how I feel. I was shocked when you asked me last night, I just didn’t expect it, but after thinking about it last night, I’m…I’m willing to give us a chance.”
“You really mean it?”
Myolie nodded and smiled. Raymond returned the smile with the hugest grin on his face. He was so happy he picked Myolie up and spun her around.
“Raymond, put me down. We’re in an elevator…”
“Right,” He set Myolie back down. He held her hand, “I promise I’ll always be here for you no matter what happens.”
Coincidently when the elevator doors opened Bosco and Leila were standing there.
“You two!” Bosco began jumping up and down excitedly
“What are you freaking our about?” Leila asked him.
All Bosco could do was point at Myolie’s and Raymond’s hand as he continued to bounce happily.
“OMG! Am I dreaming?” Bosco pinched her. “Ouch!” Leila rubbed her arm
“No we’re not dreaming! They’re really together!” Bosco gave Leila a high five.
“Why are you guys so excited?” Myolie asked confused.
“We’re just happy for you guys.”
“Hey, Raymond and I are planning to go to dinner. You guys want to join us.”
“Yeah…” Leila was about to agree.
“Nah, I have something to do with Leila, you guys go ahead.”
“Well, okay, we’ll see you guys later.” Myolie and Raymond waved.
“What do we have to do?” Leila asked, “I thought we we’re finished with work.”
“We are finished with our work and now we have to celebrate for our success.”
“Well what do you propose we do?”
“I think…” Bosco was saying when his beeper went off, “I think we’ll have to reschedule.”
“It’s okay, we can do it some other time…”Leila said although she was really disappointed.

Bosco walked towards the nurse, “You paged me, Shirley?”
“Yeah, sorry Dr. Wong, we were originally looking for Dr. Lui, but we couldn’t find him at first so we had to call you, but Dr. Lui just came in. I’m really sorry to have to call you back up here, I know you we’re already off work.”
“It’s alright, I was still in the building anyways. So I’m not needed here anymore, right.” Bosco confirmed.
Shirley nodded.

Having nothing better to do Bosco headed to Moonlight Bar.
As soon as he entered he was greeted by Miki, “Hey Bosco, looking for someone?”
“I don’t understand, why do you always ask me that question?”
“It’s funny, you’re never here to look for her, yet each time you come she’s here.”
“You mean Leila’s here?”
Miki nodded, “Yeah, she over by the bar again. Maybe you two have yurn fan (fate) with each other.
Walking towards the bar, Bosco noticed Leila talking to a well dressed gentleman. They were laughing and talking, apparently enjoying each other’s company, Bosco concluded.

Myolie and Raymond are officially a couple!!! Now, Bosco and Leila….Who’s the guy Leila was talking to?
