He watched as Leila would lean in close and whispers something into the guy’s ear. There was odd feeling he was having as he watched them. He couldn’t quite describe it at the time.
After a few minutes, Bosco saw Leila scribbling something on a piece of paper and handing it to the guy. They got up from their seat, and Bosco thought they were about to leave. Instead, Leila gave him a hug, “I’ll see you next time. Give me a call when you have a chance.” Bosco could hear Leila telling the guy.
The guy nodded and waved to her. Leila took her seat again. Watching to make sure the guy was gone for good, Bosco picked up his bottle of beer and headed to the seat next to Leila.
“Oh hey, I thought you were busy, how come you’re here now?” Leila asked surprised.
“They ended up not needing my help. So I see you didn’t take my advice. Still coming alone.”
“Well I didn’t have much of a choice. I couldn’t fine anyone…”
“So, who was that guy you were talking to? Did you just meet him and did you give him your number? That could be dangerous you know.”
“THAT GUY you just saw me with was one of my best friend, Samuel, he’s from Australia. He’s here on a business trip and we just happened to meet here. And yes, I did give him my number , but why do you care so much.”
“I…uh…well…” Bosco didn’t really know why himself. He just knew he felt angry seeing Leila so close to Samuel.
Leila was smiling on the inside seeing Bosco like this, she knew that this meant at least he cared about her.

Someone was constantly knocking and ringing the doorbell to Bosco’s apartment.
Bosco groaned, “Go away.” He mumbled. Yet the noise continued. Bosco pulled his pillow over his head trying to make a attempt to drown out the noise, but was use was it? The noise was only getting louder.
“Err…this better be important. It better not be some crazy drunk person getting the wrong house.” He said angrily as he wrapped his comforter around him to keep him warm. He slipped on his flip flops (Slippers) next to him bed and went to open the door. He opened the door without looking to see who it was first, and right as he was about to open his mouth to yell at the person for disturbing his sleep…”
“Finally! I was beginning to worry that something happened to you in here. I’ve been ringing the doorbell and knocking for the past ten minutes.” Leila exclaimed.
“Do you know what time it is? It’s 2 in the morning. I’ve been at the hospital for 3 entire shifts. I just got home two hours ago and got some sleep and now you come waking me up!” Bosco said through a series of yawns.”
“I have something really important.”
“Can’t this wait until morning?”
“No, it’s has to be now.”
“Okay, what do you want? Make it quick so I can go back to bed.”
“I want you to come with me somewhere.”
“Right now!”
“Yes, come on, we have to hurry.”
“Well at least let me change.”
“We don’t have time.”
“I’m going to freeze, it’s way chilly outside, look at what I’m wearing.” Bosco was referring to his shorts and t-shirt.
“We don’t have time.” Leila told him again.
“Well can I at least grab my jacket, it’s right over there on the couch.”
“Fine, but hurry up.”
Bosco let out a sigh. He threw his comforter over the couch and replaced it with his gray Columbia jacket.
Grabbing his keys, he said, “Okay, let’s go now so I can hurry back for some sleep.”
Leila grabbed the keys from Bosco’s hand, “Hey what are you doing?” Bosco asked her.
“Well take your car, it’ll be much better.”
“Well can you tell me where we’re going? I mean you have to tell me so I can drive us there.”
“No need, I’ll drive.”
“What!” Bosco was about to protest, but Leila pulled him along.
“We’re running out of time. Come on, if we don’t hurry we’ll miss it.”
“Miss what?”
Leila pulled on Bosco’s arm all the way until they got to his car. Once Leila started the engine she began to speed away.
“Wai, careful, this is my baby.” Bosco said as he rubbed the dashboard.
“Don’t worry, I will. Just take a nap, I’ll wake you when we get there.”
After a thirty minute drive Leila stopped the car and parked it. She pushed the button making the hood to Bosco convertible go down. It revealed the dark sky of the night.
Feeling the wind, Bosco began to wake up.
“Hey, you’re up. We’re here.” Leila declared.
Bosco rubbed his eyes, “Where are we?”
“A place I think you want to be.” Leila answered and looked at her watch, “Two more minutes.” Then she looked up at the sky
“Two more minutes til what?” Bosco asked as he looked at the clock in the car, “Hey, what day is it?”
“The 23rd.” Leila answered still looking at the sky.
Bosco finally made a connection, “How did…”
“Look!” Leila pointed up at the sky. There was a meteor shower. The two sat there enjoying it.
“How did you know I wanted to come?” Bosco finished he question from earlier.”
“I saw the telescope in your room last time. So I assumed you’d like it.”
“Not too many people know about this, how did you know?”
“Well…Edwin used to tell me about it all the time…he was really into it. I remembered him telling me how he wanted me to be the person he watched it with…” he voice began to trail off.
Bosco began to regret the question, “Well you choose a great place, the view here is spectacular.”
Leila smiled and Bosco turned to look back up at the sky. Leila turned and looked at Bosco. She gave him a kiss on the cheek then turned and sat back down quietly in her seat.
Bosco eyes popped open widely. He slowly turned to look at Leila. He saw her sitting with her head down looking very shy. She seemed different tonight.
Leila could feel Bosco staring at her. She slowly lifted her head and turned to face him, she lifted her eyes up until their eyes met.
Bosco leaned in closer to Leila who had also moved in closer and they kissed.

Hope all BL fans liked this chapter. I thought about making this chapter a cliff hanger…stopping where Bosco was moving closer…make you guys get all excited, but I didn’t want to make you guys wait any longer. Hope you guys didn’t think it was too soon for them to get together.
