Ron’s point of view: I can’t ask her out. I’m supposed to be gay. But when I’m with here everything seems to be fine. I feel no pressure and I can be myself. Her smile lightens up my whole day and we’ve become such great friends. If I ask her, then that might ruin our special friendship and plus I made a promise with someone special 3 years ago that I would never love someone the same away ever again.
Leila’s point of view: Ron is just so nice to me. Sometimes I wonder if he actually started to like me. If I tell him that I’ve fallen in love with him then that would just make everything feel so awkward. When he’s around I just feel so safe and secure and every night I still dream about the moment we shared in the elevator. Maybe I should turn him straight.
The day of the fashion show.
Ron: So where are my models?
Bosco: Ron, chillax man. They’ll be here.
Ron: Well you’re not the one presenting your new line of clothing are you?
Bosco: Dude just remember I work for you. If this doesn’t go well, my future at your company isn’t that bright is it?
Ron: Don’t worry you did a great job preparing for this.
Bosco: Look! There they are.
Ron: Thank God. Have you seen Leila?
Bosco: Your personal assistant?
Ron: Yeah.
Bosco: Haven’t seen her yet. Is she going to model anything?
Ron: No. But I wanted her to come out with me at the end cause she helped me so much preparing for this.
Bosco: You like her?
Ron: No! I’d like YOU before I like her. (Ron winked at Bosco).
Bosco: I’m taken. Sorry.
Ron: me joke!
Bosco: I know! Working with you for the past years and becoming good friends with you I found out something.
Ron: what?
Bosco: You’re not gay.
Ron: What?
Bosco: You didn’t even like someone as good looking as me. How can you be gay?
Ron started laughing and walked away.
Bosco: Girls! You have to hurry up almost everyone is here.
Ron went looking for Leila but couldn’t find her anywhere so he decided to call her.
Leila: Hello.
Ron: Where are you?
Leila: I’m coming.
Ron: Tell me where you are; I’ll come pick you up.
Leila: It’s okay you don’t have to…achooo!
Ron: You have a cold?
Leila: I’m fine.
Ron: If you do. Just stay home. I’ll come to see you after the show.
Leila: No, I can come.
Ron: this is an order; you have to stay home and get some rest.
Leila: Fine.
Ron: I’ll come and see you as soon as the show is over.
Leila: Bye. (She hung up before Ron could say goodbye).
All the models male and female looked gorgeous in Ron’s new line of clothing.
Bosco: You did a fantastic job with the designs man.
Ron: I am your boss. If I’m no good then the company would be doomed.
Melissa: Congratz bro. The show was a success.
Ron: Thanks. Where’s Sunny?
Melissa: He’s still talking to all those rich guys out there.
Ron: Oh.
Bosco: Are you guys going to come to the after party?
Melissa: Sunny and I are coming for sure. All of those models were hot, I wouldn’t mind spending some time talking to them.
Bosco started laughing.
Bosco: Ron, are you coming?
Ron: No. I promised Leila I’ll come see her after the show.
Melissa and Bosco: oooooooooo….
Ron: It’s not what you think. She’s been working hard to help me prepare for this. It’s the least I can do.
Bosco: She’s been “working hard” eh?
Ron: You’re sick.
Ron left Bosco and Melissa talking and laughing about him. Ron got into his car and drove to Leila’s place.
Ron thinking: Should I call her first? It is quite late, what if she’s asleep? I’ll just have to come and see.
Ron arrived at Leila’s place. Standing there looking up at her apartment and saw that the lights were still on. He went up and stood in front of the door and started to knock.
Sek Sau came to open the door.
Sek Sau: Ron, what are you doing here so late?
Ron: I came to see Leila. I heard she was sick.
Sek Sau: She’s in her room. Let me call her.
Ron: No need I’ll just come in and see if she’s okay then I’ll leave.
Ron walked in and went to Leila’s room. Leila was soundly asleep and didn’t notice that he was there. So Ron left a note instead of waking her up and left.
Ron: Tell her she doesn’t have to come to work tomorrow and I’ll see her soon.
Sek Sau: Okay. Good night Ron.
Ron: Good night uncle.
