JaeJoong walked down the street. He had ran out of Yunho's office and onto a taxi that had pulled up in front of the building. Not knowing where to go he told the driver to take him to a coffee shop by his apartment. Finally he came to a stop in front of the building. He dug through his bag and looked for his keys, only to find the keys to his mercedes and Yunho's house. "It's a good thing I keep a spare in the mailbox," JaeJoong told himself. He walked up to his room and opened his door. Everything seemed dead and dull. Compared to the lively atmosphere Yunho's home gave him, he felt cold in his apartment. He pulled his dress off and sat down on his bed. "What is this?" JaeJoong asked himself as he fell back onto the bed. He pulled the cover over himself.
"Hello?" a squeaky high pitch voice came across.
"Did JaeJoong come see you?" Yunho asked. He was now driving around town looking for his wife.
"JaeJoong? Oh, is this Yunho?" Junsu returned a question.
"Yeah, this is Yunho. I was wondering if JaeJoong came by to see you or your sister," Yunho asked.
"No, he didn't come by," Junsu answered. "Did you try his cellphone?"
"I did but he's not picking up," Yunho explained.
"Do you need to get a hold of him for something urgent?" Junsu asked not knowing what the deal was between Yunho and JaeJoong.
"I have to get a hold of him as soon as possible," Yunho told him. "It's about work," he explained.
"Sorry, I don't know how else you can get ahold of him," Junsu answered.
"How about your sister?" he asked.
"I don't think she knows either," Junsu answered.
"Okay, thanks," Yunho hung up. He continued driving around town not knowing where to go next, but he knew he couldn't go home. If he went home without his wife, his parents would definitely kill him.
RING. RING. RING.
Yunho grabbed his cellphone and answered it not even bothering to look at the caller's name. "Hello?"
"Is this Yunho?" a female voice came thru.
"Yes, and this is?" he asked.
"This is Walin, my brother just told me you called looking for JaeJoong?" her voice indicated she was worried.
"Yeah, has he called you?" Yunho asked.
"No, but you said you called his cellphone? And he didn't pick up? What's going on?" she sounded worried.
"JaeJoong ran out of my office a few hours ago, and he's hasn't picked up my phone call after that," Yunho explained.
"He ran out from your office? What happened? What did you do to my friend?" she asked.
"I...," Yunho couldn't tell her.
"Where are you right now?" she asked.
"I'm in the downtown area," he answered happy that she changed her question.
"My brother and I are on our way to meet you," Walin explained.
"Meet me?" Yunho asked.
"You said JaeJoong ran out of the office and disappeared! I want to know what's going on and if you're out looking for him my brother and I can help you look," she explained.
Yunho thought for a few seconds. "Three heads are better than one," he figured. "Meet me at the Italian Villa near the mall," Yunho realized he was close to Yoochun's restaurant.
"We'll be there soon, and you better be prepared to tell us what happened," Walin hung up.
"You ran out after only seeing Christine calling me, but I have to put up with actually meeting your girlfriend," Yunho mumbled as he pulled into the parking lot. He got out and walked into the restaurant.
"Yunho," Yoochun was sitting at the counter wiping the silverware. "What's up?"
"I don't see any customers," Yunho looked around.
"Yah, it's 3pm. We're just getting ready for dinner service," Yoochun explained.
"Oh," Yunho took a seat in front of Yoochun.
"What's wrong?" Yoochun saw Yunho's frustrated expression.
"Han-Joong...," Yunho started.
"What? What's wrong with her? What happened?" Yoochun dropped the spoon in his hand.
"She left my office a few hours ago, and when I call her she won't pick up," Yunho explained.
"Did you guys have a fight?" Yoochun asked.
"Well, it wasn't a fight. It was more of a misunderstanding," Yunho explained.
"Have you called any of her friends? Maybe she went to one of her friend's house?" Yoochun asked.
"I called and checked, her friends haven't heard from her," Yunho explained.
"How about her parent's house? Or one of her relative's house?" Yoochun asked.
"Nope," Yunho shook his head knowing that JaeJoong's family didn't live in Seoul. "His apartment!" it finally came to his head. "Changmin! Changmin should know where his apartment is!" his eyes got huge just by the mental conversation he had with himself. "Thanks man!" he hugged Yoochun and then ran out.
"What? Wait, so where is she?" he called after but by the time he could reach the door Yunho was already pulling out of the parking lot.
"JaeJoong's apartment?" Changmin asked as he flipped through his agenda to the address section. "Why do you need it for?"
"Just tell me!" Yunho shouted.
"Okay, okay, hold on," he finally stopped on a page. He read the address that he had jotted down from a few weeks ago when JaeJoong had come to his office to discuss the details to the wedding.
"I can't believe I totally forgot about you, thanks man," Yunho hung up.
......................................................
"Welcome to Italian Villa, but our dinner service doesn't start for another 2 hours," Yoochun greeted the man and woman who came into the restaurant.
Without an answer the two surveyed the room.
"Can I help you?" Yoochun asked.
"We're suppose to meet a friend here," the man answered.
"A friend? No ones here. We don't serve dinner until 5:30pm," Yoochun repeated.
"No ones been in here?" the woman asked.
"No," Yoochun answered not thinking the person they were here to meet was Yunho.
"What should we do?" Junsu turned to look at his sister.
"Can we sit and wait here?" Walin turned to ask Yoochun.
"Of course, please have a seat over here," Yoochun directed them to a table by the window. "Would you guys like something to drink?"
"Coffee, if you could please," Walin answered.
"I'll have some tea," Junsu answered.
"Sure," Yoochun nodded with a smile and went to the kitchen.
"Should we give him a call?" Junsu asked.
"Lets give him another 15 minutes, maybe he's stuck in traffic," Walin explained.
.......................................................
"The 9th floor," Yunho had memorized the address, floor, and apartment number. He walked out and stopped at the first door. He looked around the door. "Is he here?" Yunho asked himself. "Wait, what am I going to say to him?" Yunho was in a panic now. "I have to explain myself, even if I don't know what to explain, I have to try," Yunho told himself before knocking on the door.
"Huh?" JaeJoong woke up to the sound on the door. "Who could that be?" he walked to his closet and pulled a long shirt over his head, the bottom of the shirt just stopping at the thighs where his boxer ended. He walked over to the door and opened it. "Yunho," JaeJoong said aloud once he saw the man standing in front of his door with a worried face. "How'd you...," he started.
"You're here," right as Yunho saw JaeJoong's face all his worries disappeared. He launched forward and took the man into his arms. "I found you," he let out.
"How'd you find me?" JaeJoong pulled away from Yunho with much force.
"I drove around looking everywhere, I couldn't find you, then I called Changmin and asked for your address," Yunho explained. "I was so worried about you," Yunho pulled him into another hug.
"Yunho, don't," JaeJoong pushed him back. "You shouldn't be here," he told the man.
"Why? Why not?" Yunho asked.
"Because...," JaeJoong was interrupted.
RING. RING. RING.
"Because of that," JaeJoong reminded him of the caller by the name of Christine. He turned around and attempted to shut the door.
"JaeJoong," Yunho blocked the door with his hand as he took out the cellphone. He took the battery off of his cellphone without even looking at the caller. "We need to talk," Yunho told him.
"I don't want to," JaeJoong turned and walked into his bedroom.
"Aish," Yunho shut the front door and walked after to JaeJoong only to get the bedroom door slammed in his face as usual.
.........................................................
"He's not picking up," Junsu explained.
"Try him again," Walin ordered.
Junsu hit redial and waited. "It took me straight to his voicemail," Junsu looked over at his sister in confusion.
"What kind of a game is he playing with us?" Walin took a deep breath.
"I brought you guys some appetizers," Yoochun carried over a tray.
"Oh, we didn't order this," Junsu looked up to the man in the white chef's uniform.
"I know, but I see that you guys have been waiting for a long time. I figured some food wouldn't hurt," Yoochun smiled back at the light brown haired man.
"Thank you," Junsu returned a sweet smile.
"Enjoy," Yoochun told them and then turned around and went back to his kitchen.
"Yah, I can't stand this anymore," Walin stood up.
"What are you going to do?" Junsu asked.
"You wait here for Yunho to show up and I'll go out looking around," Walin explained.
"Go out looking around? Where? You don't know Seoul well enough. You'll get lost," Junsu pointed out.
"I have a mouth if I get lost I'll just hop on the taxi and go back to our condo," she explained. "Call me right when Yunho gets here," she turned around and walked out of the restaurant.
"Yah, becareful," Junsu called after his sister. "Aish, she's always so hot headed like this," he took a sip of his tea. He looked at the plate of mini appetizers the kind man had brought over a minute ago. "He's not only kind, but he's not bad to look at," Junsu smiled as he tasted the food. "Wow, this tastes so good," he licked his lips to get all the flavor into his mouth.
..........................................................
"Where can he be?" Walin walked down the street towards a bus stop. "He won't answer his phone, and Yunho has also gone missing. I'm going to go crazy JaeJoong! What am I going to tell your sister if something happened to you?" Walin stopped and looked up and down the streets. "Nayoung would kill me if she finds out I didn't take good care of her only brother," Walin walked in front of a group of people waiting to get on the bus. Right at that moment the group of people stood up and started for the bus that stopped in the road. There were many people trying to get on and it seemed they were all rushing on and not caring about running over Walin. "Excuse me, can I get through," Walin tried to push her way through but instead she was pushed to the back of the line. Then all of a sudden her left foot landed on the edge of the sidewalk and she lost balance, backing up uncontrollably into the street.
BEEP!
A car screeched to a stop nearly hitting Walin from the back.
"Look where you're going," the man got out of his car and ran up to see Walin flat on her butt.
"It wasn't my fault!" she screamed.
"You!" he pointed to her face, recognizing her from the lingerie store.
"You pervert!" she pointed back.
"Pervert?" Kangin shot back. "We don't even know each other, why are you calling me that?" he shouted.
"Because you are!" she attempted to get up but fell back down due to her injured leg.
"You're crazy," he said bluntly and walked back to his door.
"You're going to hit and run?" she shouted to him.
"Hit and run? I didn't even hit you," he explained.
"If you didn't why am I sitting down here?" she looked around at the people staring at her. She just wanted to get out of there.
"Becareful of what you accuse other people! I didn't hit you," Kangin repeated.
"I'm the victim! I said you did," she shot back.
Kangin looked around at all the people gathering around them. "Aish!" he walked over and bent down and scooped up the girl on the floor.
"What are you doing?" she shouted.
"I'm taking you to the police station, I've had enough of your accusations!" he pulled the door to the passenger door open and dropped the girl in.
.........................................................
"Your friend left?" Yoochun was back with another plate.
"Oh, that was my sister," Junsu explained. "What'd you bring me now?" Junsu looked over. He had been waiting anxiously to see what the man would bring with him besides his cute smile.
"I brought you my first pasta dish," Yoochun laid the plate down in front of Junsu.
"This is your first pasta dish for tonight?" Junsu asked.
"The first dish," Yoochun nodded. "The sauce is made with an herbed cream sauce with lobster," Yoochun introduced.
"Wow, it looks great," Junsu smiled. "A glass of wine would be great with this," Junsu commented.
"Of course, how could I forget. I'll be back with a glass," Yoochun walked back to his kitchen.
Junsu quickly dug into the pasta dish.
............................................................
"JaeJoong," Yunho was sitting on a chair by the door. "We have to talk," he called.
"Go away," JaeJoong replied.
"Aish," Yunho scratched his head. "JaeJoong, if we don't go home mom and dad will be waiting for us," Yunho explained.
"Mom and dad?" JaeJoong asked himself. He looked out the window and saw that the sun was already setting.
"You don't want them to worry do you?" Yunho asked from the other side.
JaeJoong got up and walked over to the door. He turned the knob and pulled it open.
"JaeJoong!" Yunho stood up from the chair.
"You have no right to use them against me," JaeJoong's voice was stiff.
"I'm sorry," Yunho moved in closer.
"Don't," JaeJoong lowered his head and moved back a little.
"JaeJoong, I told you already, I can't lose you," he reminded JaeJoong.
"And what about your girlfriend? Isn't she the reason you're going through all this trouble?" JaeJoong's question froze Yunho's advancing footsteps. His eyes turned away in fear of making contact with the sobbing man in front of him.
"She's... she's..," Yunho tried to explain himself.
"Get out!" Get out!" JaeJoong quickly pushed Yunho back out of his bedroom. As he slammed the door shut again. "I'm nothing compared to her," he told himself.
