"I, Jung Yunho..........., take you Kim Han-Joong......., to be my......... wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part," Yunho repeated the vow he had memorized an hour before the ceremony. His eyes locked on JaeJoong's lips for he did not dare to look at those big brown eyes of his bride.
"I, ..... Kim Han-Joong, take you Jung Yunho, to be my.... husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part," JaeJoong's lips moved slowly as the words softly slipped out of his mouth. He too did not dare to look his husband in the eyes. His eyes wandered from Yunho's cheeks to his nose to his lips.
The audience sat and watched with envy and admiration as the two said their vows to each other.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife!" the minister exclaimed. Everyone in the audience stood up and clapped. Yunho and JaeJoong turned to face the audience with a bow.
"What have I gotten myself into?" JaeJoong's head screamed as he forced a smile. But it was no use. The fear had caused him to tear up already. He could feel a stream of warm liquid slowly crawling down his left cheek.
"Awwwww," the audience responded. "She's so happy that she's crying," a voice was heard.
Yunho immediately turned to see JaeJoong's face to see if it was true. And sure he enough he saw JaeJoong's right hand go up to wipe his cheek.
"Give her a kiss!" a voice came from the crowd.
"What?" Yunho and JaeJoong looked at each other in shock.
"KISS! KISS! KISS!" the crowd demanded.
Yunho took a hard swallow of his saliva, feeling the liquid taste more like poison. "I wish it was," he actually thought.
"You'll die!" JaeJoong gave him the death stare.
Yunho nodded slightly asking for JaeJoong to go along with it. But all he got in return was the death glare and a little shake of JaeJoong's head in refusal.
"KISS! KISS!" the crowd was still calling.
Yunho turned to give an embarrassed smile to the audience. Then he turned back to JaeJoong and pulled him in closer.
"I'm going to kill you," JaeJoong whispered passed his fake smile.
"I won't kiss you for real, don't move," Yunho slowly bringing his face down toward's JaeJoong's lips. "I'll kiss your chin," he explained.
Behind Yunho stood Changmin, Yoochun, and Donghae. Changmin had an idea. He looked over to get the attention of the maid of honor, Kim. He nodded towards JaeJoong and Yunho. Kim smiled and nodded her head in response. Changmin stepped forward towards Yunho and Kim stepped forward towards JaeJoong. JaeJoong shut his eyes and brought his face out a little bit waiting for Yunho's lips to brush his chin. Yunho slowly lowered his face towards JaeJoong's face aiming behind the lower rosy pink lips. But to both of their surprises Changmin had pushed Yunho further in towards JaeJoong and Yunho's lips ended right smack onto JaeJoong's shimmering lips. JaeJoong's eyes shot open as he felt the man's lip press hard against his.
"I'm going to kill you!" he thought in his head and pulled away. Only to be pushed back towards Yunho by Kim. This time it was Yunho who almost had a heart attack as JaeJoong flew forward, his arms swinging onto Yunho's shoulder in shock and tugging his neck down for another kiss.
The crowd gasped. "Wow!" the audience clapped and whistled.
Finally JaeJoong and Yunho both pulled back slowly making sure no one else was behind to push them. JaeJoong's already rosy cheeks had turned hot and red. His heart raced as if it was in a marathon. He looked over to Yunho and he could tell Yunho was in the same state of shock as him.
"I'm honoured to present, Mr. and Mrs. Jung Yunho!" the minister introduced.
This was cue for Yunho to grab JaeJoong's left hand and dash out quickly down the aisle. Instead he still stood in shock, he didn't even hear the minister.
"Yah, Yunho!" Changmin nudged him in the arm.
"Huh?" he snapped out of his shock. Then he turned to look at JaeJoong who was waiting for his hand. Yunho brought his right hand out in front of JaeJoong, as if asking for JaeJoong to let him lead them into their future. JaeJoong slowly brought up his left hand and placed it on Yunho's hand. A strong grip from Yunho's hand shocked him at first. Yunho took the first step down the steps and JaeJoong followed. Right after the last step Yunho felt confident. And out of the dark, he felt a responsibility, a responsibility for this person he was holding hands with. He couldn't help but smile that he was trusted by him. "Is this what marriage is?" he thought to himself.
JaeJoong looked out to the audience then back up to Yunho's face. His eyes were glistened with a clear coat of his own tears. "Were they happy or sad tears?" JaeJoong thought to himself. His heart shook at first violently, but now it shook nervously. "I can trust him," he felt this at this moment.
Together they walked down the aisle as the guests threw white and pink rose petals into the air for them to step on.
....................................................
"May your path in life together resemble a path scattered with roses. Get through all your troubles and misunderstandings together so that you can laugh and cry tears of joy together in the end," Mrs. Jung was the first to give her wishes to the newly wed.
Yunho and JaeJoong now sat in the traditional wedding hanbok on the floor in front of their parents.
"Take good care of Yunho for me," she asked Han-Joong. "You're my daughter now, come to me with all your troubles, I'm here for you," she gave JaeJoong an assuring smile.
"Yunho-ah, I'm so happy to see you have this day," she pulled her son into a hug. "I love you so much," he told her.
"Dear," Mr. Jung pulled his wife back. "We have to give the Kims a chance too," he explained. "Yunho-ah, you're a man now. You have a family, you're responsible for your wife now. Do everything to protect her and your family," he told his son.
Yunho nodded to assure his dad he knew of his responsibilites.
"Han-Joong-ah, you're my daughter now," his voice was softer when he spoke to JaeJoong. "I promise you that I'll love you no less than I love my son, if he ever makes you cry I'll make sure he cries too," the father assured JaeJoong. "Please take me as your father too and cook me delicious meals," he added a smile.
JaeJoong couldn't help but be touched by Yunho's parents. "But they really can't be my parents," he reminded himself.
"Uhh," Mr. Jung cleared his throat. "Mr. Kim, Mrs. Kim," he turned to the two couple sitting behind him.
JaeJoong's fake parents moved forward and took JaeJoong and Yunho's hands and placed them ontop of each other. JaeJoong glanced over to Yunho once he felt his hand.
"We wish you two happiness and good health," the elder man spoke. "Take good care of each other," he added.
"Make a lot of grandchildren for us to take care of," the elderly woman winked.
Yunho and JaeJoong gave out a nervous chuckle. "Thanks," they both bowed to the two elders.
"Let's give them some privacy," Mr. Jung stood up. "Come on Mr. Kim, we'll celebrate and get to know each other outside. I have a bottle of whisky waiting for us," he explained.
Slowly the four elders stood up as JaeJoong and Yunho bowed down. Within seconds they had all left the room, shutting the door tightly behind them. JaeJoong and Yunho lifted their heads up.
"Wheew," they both let out as they fell back to sit freely on their butts.
"I thought it would never end," JaeJoong took his fist and hit his own legs. "My legs are killing me," he complained.
"Mine too," Yunho explained as he stretched out his legs.
"Yah!" JaeJoong turned to look at Yunho. "You kissed me!" he pointed his finger at Yunho's face.
"You kissed me too!" he responded.
"It wasn't my fault! It was that bridesmaid that pushed me!" JaeJoong explained.
"Well Changmin pushed me too!" Yunho argued.
"Still! You have to pay for that!" JaeJoong pointed out.
"Yah, is everything about money with you?" Yunho asked.
"Why else am I doing this?" JaeJoong shot back. He wanted to keep everything about business. He couldn't tell Yunho that he agreed to this because he couldn't stand seeing Mrs. Jung hurt.
"Aish! Just tell Changmin what you want and he'll take care of it," Yunho explained.
"That's all I wanted to hear!" JaeJoong got up and stomped over to the bathroom.
"Where are you going?" Yunho asked.
"I'm going to go shower," JaeJoong turned his head around. "Would you like to join me dear?" he gave a smile.
"Yah!" Yunho hissed. "Don't do that!"
"Hahahhahaha," JaeJoong laughed as he walked into the bathroom.
...............................................................
"You're not sleeping on the same bed with me," JaeJoong stood with his hands on his hips.
"What? This is my bed!" Yunho pulled himself up.
JaeJoong had just gotten out of the shower and once he came back to the bedroom Yunho was still in his hanbok stretched out freely on the bed.
"It's our room now! And I say I'm sleeping on the bed!" JaeJoong explained.
"Then where do I sleep?" Yunho pulled himself up.
"There's plenty of room on the floor," JaeJoong pointed to the cold hard floor.
"You're.......... kidding me... right?" Yunho could barely get out.
