Chapter 2
The news.
The next day the sun woke Michelle up from her sleep. She then got up and got ready for school. As she was walking to her car she noticed her boyfriend was waiting for her. “Good morning my love.” He greeted her.
“Good morning.”
“Ready to go to school?” As he said this he opened the door to the passenger door for her.
“Thank you.” They then made their way to school. Once they were there Ji Yong opened the doors for her and walked her to class. The whole day went pretty well. Michelle was happy the whole day nothing could ruin her day. After school Ji Yong dropped Michelle off at her house and she walked into the house with a smile. “Hello mom and dad.”
“Michelle come over here, we need to talk.” Her mother called her into the living room.
“Yes?” She asked as she walked into the living room.
“Umm, sweetie, I have some bad news. You’re grandfather is sick and so your father decided that we’re going to go live with your grandfather until he gets better.”
“So I’m going as well?”
“When are we moving and what about school? I don’t want to leave!”
“We already took care of the school situation and we’re leaving on Wednesday so you have to start packing soon, but don’t take all your belongings, just the important things.”
“How long are we going to stay there?”
“I don’t know.” Michelle began to cry because she didn’t want to leave. She didn’t want to depart from her friends and boyfriend, but she knew she couldn’t be selfish because her grandpa was sick. Also her grandpa loves her a lot. “Start packing and you don’t have to have to go to school anymore because you’ve been pulled out already.” She then walked upstairs with her head down. Not saying a word. Once she got into her room she noticed that the majority of her things were packed up. She started to cry even harder because now she knew that she was really moving. As she continued to cry her began to ring. She wiped away her tears quickly and took a deep breath. “Hello?”
“Hey love, what are you doing right now?” Ji Yong asked.
“Nothing, are you busy?”
“No, is everything alright because it sounds like you’re crying.”
“Can you come get me? I’ll tell you then.”
“Alright, I’ll be right there.” Ji Yong then hung up and rushed over to pick up Michelle. “Where do you want to go?”
“Could you take me to the beach?”
“Yeah, sure.” He drove her to the beach in silence. Why they were almost there Ji Yong grabbed Michelle’s hand. The moment she felt his warm hand on top of hers she turned away from the window and looked at him. The moment she looked into his eyes, she began to cry. Ji Yong thought he had did something wrong and he let go of her hand. But the moment he let go, she quickly grabbed his hand and held it tightly. Shortly after, they arrive at the beach. Michelle opened the door and walked out. The smell of the ocean greeted her nose as she took a deep breath. Ji Yong then walked up next to Michelle and she immediately hugged him. “So are you going to tell me what’s wrong?” Ji Yong asked as he continued to hold her. Michelle nodded her head yes as she buried her face into his chest. “So what’s bothering you?”
“I’m moving. I’m going to go live with my grandpa.”
“What but that’s so far.”
“I know, and I don’t want to go, but at the same time id o.”
“Why are you moving?”
“Because my grandpa’s sick, but my mother said that we’ll move back when my grandpa gets better.”
“When are you leaving?”
“In two days.”
“In two days?”
“Yeah.”
“Wow, well, everything will be fine.”
“Aren’t you going to miss me?”
“Of course I will, but it’s not like you’re going to be gone forever. You’re only going to be gone temporarily.”
“I guess you’re right, but that doesn’t mean I won’t miss you.”
“I’m going to miss you too.” They continued to embrace each other.
“Can I sleep over at your house tonight?”
“Will your mom be okay with you sleeping over?”
“I don’t know and I don’t care.”
“Well at least call her and tell her. You know she’ll flood your phone later.”
“Fine.” So on the car ride to Ji Yong’s house Michelle called her mother and told her. They got into an argument because her mother didn’t want her to sleep over at Ji Yong’s house, but in the end Michelle won. Once they arrived at Ji Yong’s house Michelle jumped out and walked to the door. “Are you sure your mother won’t yell at you tomorrow?” Ji Yong asked.
“I really don’t care right now.”
“Okay.” They entered the house and Ji Yong set up the guest room for Michelle. “If you need anything come and knock on my door okay?”
“Okay, goodnight.”
“Goodnight.” Ji Yong walked out of the room and was just about to close the door when he suddenly said, “I forgot something.” He grabbed Michelle and suddenly pulls her towards her. Michelle was quite shock because of this and then Michelle whispered into her ear, “I forgot to tell you I love you.”
“I love you too.” Ji Yong then leaned in and kissed her slowly. He caressed her warm face and slowly a simple kiss turned into a passionate one. After several minutes Ji Yong slowly pulled away. “Good night.”
“Goodnight.” Michelle climbed into bed. She lied in bed for several minutes just thinking about all the time she spent with Ji Yong. After an hour of tossing and turning she got out of her bed and knocked on Ji Yong’s door. All that could be heard from inside of the room was rustling noises. Then Ji Yong finally appeared at the door. Streams of tears began to pour from Michelle’s eyes the moment she saw Ji Yong. “What’s wrong?” He immediately asked.
“I don’t want to leave you.” As she answered him, he pulled her towards him and held her tightly.
“I don’t want you to leave either but it’s for your grandpa, and besides it’s not like we won’t get to see each other.”
“But what if a girl comes and tries to take you away from me?”
“That won’t happen, because no one could ever take your place.” She continued to cry in his arms, as he comforted her. “Do you want to sleep with me?” Ji Yong asked.
“What! Sleep with you?” Michelle exclaimed out of shock.
“That’s not what I mean! Do you want to sleep on the same bed?”
“Umm, I don’t know.”
“It’s not like I’m going to do anything to you that you don’t want me too.”
“Okay.” So she climbed into the bed first and Ji Yong walked towards his closet. “Where are you going?” Michelle asked.
“Changing my shirt.”
“Why?”
“Because someone got it all wet.”
“Oh, I’m sorry.”
“Don’t worry about it. It’s fine.” So he took out another shirt and changed right in front of Michelle. This was the first time Michelle had ever seen her boyfriend half naked.
“Ji Yong!” She immediately shouted.
“Yes?” He turned around and Michelle saw his abs. she quickly turned away and began to blush.
“Can you hurry up and put on your shirt.” She stated without looking at him. Ji Yong put on his shirt and climbed into bed.
“Why are you acting like you don’t like it?” Michelle playfully punched Ji Yong in the chest.
“Shut up!”
“You know I’m just kidding.” As he said this he hugged her tightly. Then they both soon fell asleep in each others' arms.
