Chapter 3

Special Night

The next morning Ji Yong’s alarm clock went off and woke both Ji Yong and Michelle up. Ji Yong reached over and turned off his alarm, and went back to sleep. “Are you not going to school today?” Michelle asked as she turned around to face him.
“No, I want to spend the whole day with you.”
“No you have to go to school, and besides I need to finish packing. But when you’re done with your last class, you can come pick me up.”
“Alright, but does Stephanie know that you’re leaving?”
“No, do you want to tell her for me?”
“Yeah, if you want me too.”
“Thank you.” Michelle kissed him. “Okay, now get up before you’re late for school.” Ji Yong got up and ready for school. He dropped Michelle off at her house on his way to school. Michelle walked into her house and she could tell her mother was angry. She ignored her mother and walked upstairs to finish packing. While she was packing her life away Ji Yong arrived at school. “Hey Ji Yong where’s Michelle?” Stephanie immediately asked.
“I don’t know how to tell you this but, she’s moving.”
“What!” She exclaimed and she began to go crazy; she quickly texted Michelle. Michelle knew Stephanie would text her and Stephanie did. They spent an hour texting each other until Stephanie finally calmed down. Stephanie was going to come over after school as well.
The day went by slowly and quietly until 2:30 came along. Someone was ringing the door bell to Michelle’s house furiously. “Coming!” Michelle yelled as she ran downstairs. The moment she opened the door Stephanie immediately hugged Michelle.
“I can’t believe you’re leaving tomorrow night.” Stephanie complained.
“Don’t remind me about it, and besides winter break is coming soon so hopefully I can visit you guys.”
“Well, we’re wasting time so let’s go.” Stephanie said as she dragged Michelle out the door.
“Where are we going?” Michelle asked.
“Somewhere.” Stephanie replied as Ji Yong followed behind them quietly. Stephanie drove Michelle to the jewelry shop.
“Why are we here?” Michelle questioned.
“Because I want to get us a friendship bracelet; I want you to know that nothing could ever ruin our friendship.” After several minutes of looking around, Stephanie finally picked out two bracelets. She had the employee engrave best on one bracelet along with Michelle’s name on one of them and her name as well as friend on the second bracelet. After they paid for their bracelet they all went to go get some dinner. Since Michelle was leaving in two days she decided to spend the rest of the day with Stephanie. They visited all their favorite places with one another that evening. Later that night Stephanie talked Michelle into sleeping over at her house. They spent most of the night talking about random things. It was four in the morning when they finally fell asleep.

At six thirty in the morning Stephanie’s alarm clock went off. The two of them rolled out of bed and got ready for the day. Stephanie dropped Michelle off at her house and Ji Yong was standing outside waiting for her. “Hi sweetie, what are you doing here?” Michelle asked as she walked up to him and hugged him.
“I was waiting for you.”
“Shouldn’t you be at school?”
“Yes, but I want to be with you. I have the whole day planned out for us, besides one day isn’t going to hurt.” Ji Yong grabbed her hand and dragged her to his car.
“Where are we going?”
“It’s a surprise.” Michelle said as he drove away from her house. Ji Yong took Michelle on a fun filled trip. They went horseback riding, had a picnic on the beach, and lastly he took her on a ride on a yacht. “I’m going to miss you.” Ji Yong said as he held Michelle tightly.
“I’m going to miss you too, but I’ll come back.” They continued to enjoy their time together. It was two in the morning when Ji Yong finally drove Michelle home.
“I’ll see you later.” Ji Yong said as he gave Michelle a small kiss.
“That’s it? You’re not going to see me for a while and that’s—” Ji Yong suddenly pulled her closer towards him and started to kiss her passionately. Her heart began to race as Ji Yong caressed her face. They continued to kiss until the porch light came on. Ji Yong pulled away quickly as the door opened. “Michelle?”
“Hello Mrs. Yang.” Ji Yong greeted Michelle’s mom.
“Oh, hello Ji Yong. Well, I’ll leave you two alone.”
“Mom what time are we leaving?” Michelle asked her mother right before her mother closed the door.
“Nine in the morning, so be back at eight okay?”
“Okay.” Michelle replied as Mrs. Yang closed the door and went back to bed.
“I thought you were leaving at seven?” Ji Yong asked.
“That’s what I thought too.”
“Well, how about we go back to my house. My parents are still out of town.”
“What are we going to do there?”
“Umm, I don’t know.”
“Well, if we’re not going to do anything then I don’t want to go.” Michelle said sarcastically.
“We’ll watch a movie.” He grabbed Michelle’s hand and headed to car, shortly after they arrived at Ji Yong’s house. “What movie are we going to watch?” Michelle asked as she sat on Ji Yong’s bed.
“Anything you want to watch.”
“How about P.S. I Love You?”
“Okay.” Ji Yong then got up and put the movie into the DVD player. Five minutes into the movie Michelle began to ask Ji Yong questions
“Are you going to miss me?” Michelle asked as she turned herself around, so that she could look at him.
“Of course, why wouldn’t I?”
“I don’t know.”
“Are you worried?”
“Yes I am.”
“Why?”
“Because, there are a lot of girls who are attracted to you, and-”
“Don’t worry; you’re the only one for me.”
“That’s what they all say.”
“No one could ever replace you because no one can make me feel like this. No one can make my heart melt with a simple smile, or make me laugh just by being them self, and there is only one person who can make my heart race when I kiss them like this.” Ji Yong then leaned in and kissed her. He then slowly pushed her down onto the bed and continued to kiss her. Their body began to burn up as the kiss turned into a passionate one. Ji Yong pulled away slowly and stared into Michelle’s eyes. She nodded her head yes slowly. “Are you sure? We don’t have to if you don’t want too.”
“Yes, I’m sure.”
“But you couldn’t even stand looking at me the other day when I changed my shirt.”
“Do you not want to do it? Is that why you’re asking me all these questions?”
“No, it’s not that. It’s just that I want to be sure that this is what you really want and you don’t feel as though I am pressuring you to do this.”
“Yes I am sure I want to do this.” She then leaned forward to kiss him. He then kissed her back and he pressed his body against hers. Their bodies began to heat up once again and Ji Yong then began to unbutton Michelle’s shirt. He kissed her neck as they both continued to undress one another. Ji Yong continued to kiss her as his body hovered on top of hers. She nodded her head and in that instinct they were no longer virgins.
