Back Home
She didn’t want to deal with the pain so she closed her eyes and went to sleep.
When she woke up the plane had just landed. She walked down the stairs and there waiting for her was her dad. “How was your trip?”
“Fine.” Michelle replied.
“Well you must be tired, let’s get you home so you can go to sleep.” The car ride to the house was quiet. The only sound that could be heard was the radio. Once she arrived she walked into the house and greeted everyone. They all asked her about her vacation and she told them little things she did. After she was done she made her way to her room. When she opened the door to her room the smell of Ji Yong’s cologne rushed through her noise and brought back unwanted memories. Tears began to form as she noticed the picture frame she had of her and Ji Yong. She grabbed the picture frame and climbed into her bed. She hugged the picture tightly and cried herself to sleep.
The next morning Michelle woke up and got ready for school. She wasn’t really in the mood to go to school but she went anyways. She kept to herself for the majority of the time or at least till lunch came along. “Michelle what’s wrong with you today?” Seung Ri asked as he sat down next to Michelle.
“Nothing, just a little tired.”
“Oh I see.” Seung Ri then began to eat his lunch. The he noticed Michelle wasn’t wearing her couples ring. “Where’s your ring?” He asked.
“I don’t have it anymore.”
“Oh did you lose it or something?”
“No, I gave it back.”
“What? Why?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
“Alright, but could you at least tell me that it has nothing to do with the fact that you moved?”
“No it doesn’t.”
“Okay.”
“Anyways how are you and your girlfriend?”
“Great!”
“Did she like her gift?”
“Yes, she loved it. Thanks for going with me.”
“No problem.” Seung Ri and Michelle continued to talk about what they did over winter break. Eventually Michelle told Seung Ri that Michelle and Ji Yong broke up, she didn’t tell him why they broke up though. As the week went on by Seung Ri began to spend a little more time with Michelle because he wanted to make sure she was alright.
