Bernice was on the beach with her friend Michelle. They were walking around and were walking and looking around. It was very quiet at the beach. They were friends since they were in middle school. Bernice works in a school she teaches kindergartener. She was a sweet nice teacher. Kids love her, parents thinks she’s great. She was one young teacher; she loved her job and loves kids. But for Michelle didn’t get to find a job yet, she was worried and her mom was too.
Bernice: michelle…
Michelle: yeah…what
Bernice: did you find a job yet?
Michelle: well… not yet
Bernice: I can help you... I know some teachers can help you find a good job
Michelle: that’s great…thanks Bernie
Bernice: thanks okay, you are my good friend I think I will have just job for you, and I hope you like it… tell you tomorrow!!
Michelle: thanks you are the best…oh I have to go bye!!! (And he ran to get a bus). She lefted Bernice alone at the beach. She was looking out in the sea and all of sudden something hit her in the head; she turned around and saw that it was a green Frisbee. She picked it up and saw a guy running towards her.
Guy: sorry ma’m, can I get that Frisbee back?
Bernice: oh…sure and she handed him back the Frisbee.
She looked at that guy and saw him throwing the Frisbee with a little kid and they look like they were having a lot of fun. She started to laugh. She thought what a cute little kid and that guy were pretty nice. That little boy looks like one of her students. She walked towards them, when the little boy saw her and ran towards her.
Little boy: hi…Mrs. B
Bernice bent down and looks at the little boy.
Bernice: hi...um…Frankie
Frankie: yes… Ms. B, can you play Frisbee with me?
Bernice: sure! She got up and looked at the guy who hit
her with the Frisbee and smiled at him and he smiled back.
Frankie: this is Moses
Bernice: hi!
Moses: you are Ms. B?
Bernice: yeah… but you can call me Bernice, is this your
son?
Moses: no, he my cousin I’m just playing with him, let’s
play!!!
Moses started to throw the Frisbee at Bernice and she caught is, they had fun and laughed very hard, until it was time to go. So they had to leave and say good-bye and wait till next time to play with each other.
~*Bernice in bus*~
Bernice’s P.O.V-
I think Moses is a great guy, funny and nice. Oh my god, am I falling for him? No I can’t, he is Frankie’s uncle, I can’t like him. No, no, no, no!!! I have to stop thinking about him. No, I guess I really like him. Face the truth Bernice!!!
The bus stopped and she got out and went upstairs to her apartment. She went in and saw that no one was in the living room or in the kitchen. She look at the clock it was ten pm already. She must be very late and she has to get up early and go to school in the morning. So she quickly change and went in her room and slept.(she has to share her room with her sister Charmaine)
~*The next morning*~
Bernice woke up very early and got dress, even her mom and sister. She ran downstairs and the bus didn’t wait for her, so she chased after it, finally she caught up with it. She was sweating when the bus finally open the door. (do you know why, because it is a very special day today, her sister’s birthday so she wanted to hurry up and get ready to give her a surprise) she go out of the bus and ran inside the school and straight into her classroom.
~*Classroom*~
Where not one kid was in there, so she took that time and ate her breakfast. A few kids came in, they said hi or good morning, but Frankie wasn’t here yet. The bell rang and school started. Then Frankie came in, he was late! Class started.
Bernice: good morning class!
Class: morning Ms. B
Bernice: today we will all make a card, fro my sister; remember Ms. Char, today is her birthday! Would you like to make a card for her?
Class: yeah!!
Bernice: okay! Let’s get started!!!
Bernice: if you don’t know how to spell a word raise you hand and ask me and I will write it on the board, I will pass out he crayons. Let’s get started!!
Someone raise her hand.
Bernice: yes, Emily?
Emily: are you going to make one Ms. B?
Bernice: yes, and I got a present for her, do you want to see it?
Emily: yes!
Bernice: okay! And she took out a blue box and took out a crystal it was a crystal swan and it looked expensive. She showed it to the class and they all said wow and pretty.
Bernice: hey! I got a good idea, I will call Ms. Char and you will all screamed Happy Birthday Ms. Char!! Okay!
Class: okay!
Bernice: when I show you two fingers I you will say it! Some kids were so excited and started to giggle. She took out her cell phone and called Charmaine.
~*Phone Conversation-char and ber*~
char: hello!
Ber: hi! Sis, what are you doing?
Char: I’m in my office working
Ber: someone has something to say to you
Char: who! and what!
Ber: listen! And she raised two fingers to her class and
put the phone towards her class.
Class: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MS. CHAR!!!!!!
Ber: heard that sis!
Char: yeah! I almost forgot it’s my birthday today, can you put me on speaker I want to talk to them!
Ber: sure! And she put it on speaker
Char: hey everybody!!
Class: hi! Miss char!!
Char: thanks for saying happy birthday, do you know that you guys are the first one that said happy birthday to me!!
Class: that’s good!
Char: okay! Bye! I have work to do; do you want me to get
fired on my birthday? (Joking)
Class: no!!!!
Char: bye!!
Class: bye!!
