Vicki's P.O.V
"What are we going to do? Our parents don't like boys coming over our house," I said. "Oh well, our parents will kick them out anyway. No sweat," said Ruby biting an apple and pretend nothing is gong to happen. "Oh yeah, about that Alec guy. He have a crush on you?" I ask.
"I think so," she said. "You're better at getting boys than I thought," I said. "I think he's cute. So is Jimmy but he's annoying," I continued. "All you think is boys," said Ruby. "Like you don't," I said.
"Ding Dong!" The door bell rang. Ruby and I look at each other and walk down a few steps on the stairs good enough for us to see the whole scene and for them not to see us. Not to our surprise it was definately Alec and Jimmy. Mom went to get the door while dad is watching tv. Turning the noise level real high. Which is why we can't hear what they were talking to mom.
Then mom invited them in, which is a one in a life time chance. In a moment dad suddenly turn his attention towards the two. We thought he was going to kick them out. But in reverse, they were talking to each other like they know one another forever.
Ruby and I look at eachother and put on a surprising face. "Ruby, Vicki your friends are here," said mom. "What are we going to do now?" I ask. Go on with the flow I guess," said Ruby and we both walk down the stairs.
Jimmy's P.O.V.
Well I guess things went alright with the girls' parents, thanks to our sweet talks. We saw the girls walk down the stairs as soon as Mrs. Ho calls them. Alec and I look at each other and smile looking back at them.
It's not cause we're madly in love with Ruby and Vicki or anything. But because Alec and I likes to go after girls and the sort. We're not really play boys if that's what you call us. We're definately never serious with any girls.
Ruby and Vicki went and sit at the couch next to the one we're sitting. "What made you guys came here?" Ruby ask. "We're just finding some friends and study together for the competition," said Alec.
"That's nice. Why don't you guys go to the library or some place else?" Said Mrs. Lin. "That would be great," I said. "Yeah, well let's go," said Ruby and we walk out of the house. "Bye," said Alec and I.
Alec's P.O.V.
As soon as we were out, Vicki and Ruby expression change instantly. Now they were looking at us like we're in deep trouble. "What do you guys want? We don't have time to play around," said Vicki.
"I was thinking we could go to the movies and stuff," said Jimmy. "I gave him a shove meaning to be quite and said, "We mean not on a date just hanging around." Ruby and Vicki look at eachother, whisper something, smile and nodded.
I some how had a feeling they're up to something no good. I whisper to Jimmy and warn him to be careful. We all walk on a straight line next to eachother with Ruby and Vicki in the middle.
"Why don't we go to the the theme park?" Ruby said. "Ok," I said flashing her my best smile. If I haven't seen right, I could have sworn there were the slightest color of pink on Ruby's face. We got to the park eventually which was only a block away from the girls' house.
First we went on a boat that swings back and forth real high. Which was Jimmy's idea. I could tell he was thinking that girls might be scared and hang on to us. I smile at the idea but when we were out of the boat Vicki and Ruby was no where in sight.
Ruby's P.O.V.
We ran away from the boys as soon as the boat stop and let the riders out. So it made them looking for us everywhere. So began our cat and mouse chase. We would get on a ride and when they saw us, they would also get on it. But before the ride start we would get off it and got away.
They couldn't get off of course since the ride began. And all the had to do was to sit there until the ride was over. It was fun, I bet Alec and Jimmy is regretting they had even came to our house in the first place.
We were running for a while when we got bump into someone real big. The boy or should I say giant was enrage since his ice cream fell down. "That's my favorite ice cream" He exclaim. Vicki and I gulp and all we can do was run. Since the boy was so large and we're pathetically small. So he ran after us and would't let us go.
We hid behind a bush and running out of breath. "I hope he's gone," said Vicki. We look up and there he is smiling at us mischivieously. But behind the giant came two life saver. "Here's your ice cream," said Alec giving the two ice cream to the big boy. He took it and left.
"Thanks," I said. "What? We can't here you," said Jimmy. "Then never mind," said Vicki and we walk away. They stop us of course and Alec said, "Sorry just playing. So I call this a truce?" He ask and they both put there hand out. We smile and shake their hands. I guess it was from there that we suddenly became best friends.
