The car was at least coming 70-m/p/h. Nicholas was the first to move. He pushed himself and Joey out of the way. Charlene took the chance to move herself as well. The three of the landed on the ground. Nicholas was on top of Joey while Charlene was couple of feet away from them. She looked at the red Ferrari disappearing then back at the couple. Nicholas didn’t even notice Charlene he was too busy looking at Joey.
‘I’m so sorry, Joey,’ he was really concerned. ‘This is my fault.’
‘No, its not,’ Joey rapidly said. ‘Its my fault that I went on the road.’
‘But I should have told you that I love you. And I do love you! I don’t want to lose you,’ he kissed her.
Charlene looked away. She stood up brushing the dust away from her clothes. She cleared her throat. Immediately Nicholas broke apart to face Charlene. His face said that he felt guilty. He stood up bringing Joey up as well.
‘I’m so sorry,’ he started to apologise.
‘Don’t worry,’ she then added. ‘At least you know who you love.’ She raised her eyebrow. He nodded, understanding her.
‘Come on lets go.’
‘I’m going to walk it,’ Charlene said. Understanding her they both left her standing there.
She walked to the end of the street and turned the corner. She saw the car. She walked swiftly to it and climbed in. inside the red Ferrari she turned to the driver, her P.A, Kenny.

(Setting: On Monday, outside My studio car park)
‘Hey, cool car!’ Charlene turned around to face a total stranger. She had just come out of her convertible Ferrari. It was the first day of her mission. ‘My name is Kenny Kwan and welcome to My Studio,’ he introduced himself. He extended his hand.
‘Charlene Choi,’ she shook his hand. ‘Thank you, Kenny Kwan? As in my new P.A?’
‘Yep! It will be a pleasure working with you,’ his voice was husky. That got him a smack on his head from a girl who just behind him. He turned around. ‘Ruby! Why did you do that for?’
‘Stop flirting,’ she warned him. She then faces her and smiled. ‘I’m Ruby Lin…’
‘One of my models,’ she finished Ruby’s sentence. ‘And he must be your boyfriend?’
‘Apparently,’ Ruby sighed. Both of them burst out laughing.
‘Hey! That’s not funny!’ he was offended.
Ignoring him Ruby linked arms with her and escort her inside.

‘So can I keep the car?’ Kenny said anxiously.

(Setting: In her apartment, last night.)
The phone rang a couple of times when he finally answered it. ‘Wei,’ came the sleepy voice from the other end of the phone.
‘Its me Char,’ she said over the phone. ‘I need you to do me a favour.’
‘Can’t you tell me that tomorrow?’ Kenny asked.
She looked at the time to see it was 3:30 am. ‘Sorry. Didn’t notice the time. I’ll call you tomorrow.’ She was in the verge of putting the phone down when he stopped her.
‘I’m a wake now. You might as well tell me.’
‘How would you like to drive my baby?’
‘The Ferrari?’ he didn’t sound convinced.
‘Yes, the Ferrari. What do you think?’
‘I think your crazy or you got a crazy scheme,’ he definitely wasn’t convinced.
‘All I want you to do is drive my car…’ she told her plan to him. The phone was silent for couple of minutes.
‘In one condition,’ he finally broke the silent.
‘Yes, go on,’ she knew she didn’t like this.
‘I keep the car.’
‘No way! That’s my baby!’
‘Then find yourself another driver!’ she hesitated but agreed at the end.

That was in their agreement. She nodded. ‘Yes!’ he was so excited that he grabbed her and kissed her. Charlene pushed him away and hit him on the head. ‘What?’
‘Don’t ever kiss me!’ she threatened.
‘Sorry, caught in the moment,’ he looked at her innocently. ‘You’re not gonna tell Ruby, are you?’
‘As long as it don’t happen again,’ she warned.
He made a cross sign on his chest. ‘Tell me how it went.’
‘Why didn’t you answer your phone?’

(Setting: In the cab on her way to the club.)
The phone kept ringing but no one answered. She was frustrated. She then gave up and left him a voice mail.
‘Hey its me, Char. You better have a good explanation for not answering the phone. Call me at 12 and we’ll proceed with the plan.’ She hung up. She hoped it goes well.

‘Ruby wouldn’t let me!’ he complained. ‘She can be so annoying!’
‘But you love her,’ she finished for him.
‘Yes unfortunately!’ they both laughed at his comment. She told him what happened. He joked saying that she was really scared but she defended saying that she was plainly acting. Which was true!
