Flora was boiling over with suppressed anger.
She hated Gallen, hated Francis, hated Frankie and also Ada. Such a terrible day with tons of work and nobody cared of her. She only once saw Gallen this morning when he came to her office to give her some files. Like a wind, he came, said nothing and left, didn't give her a kiss as usual and even couldn't realize she dressed gorgeously today. She called Ada but got no sign back. All of them seemed to forget her very important day . …Her birthday!!!
Flora let out a sigh and mumbled to herself : " ok..I donn't need…I will cheer up my birthday alone…it's also good idea". Opening the door of the apartment and reached for the contact to turn on the light, Flora nearly wanted to cry…power cut!!! Such a off-day… Flora dropped herself on the sofa, looked around … pitch-dark!!! and she started to feel self-pity.
All of sudden, the living room turned to bright with hundred sparkling candles …and all of them including Gallen, Ada, Francis, Kenix, Frankie, Moses, Jess …even Steven and Myolie appeared before her …

Then Gallen slowly moved towards her, giving a buch of roses, the light mixed of orange and white rose kind which she loved most. Beofore all their friends' eyes and to Flora's surprise, Gallen slid his arms around her waist to pull her into him and placed his lips on hers. They exchanged a passionate kiss.
Gallen ( after letting her off ) : Happy bithday to you, honey!!!!
While Flora was still blushing because of Gallen's kiss, everybody moved towards them, clapped their hands and gave her blessed birthday wishes, which made her felt touching …
Flora : I thought all of you forgot my birthday already!!!
Francis : Oh, my dear sis…how can we forget such a great important day!!! Come here..Let's me hug you…
Then he extended his arms to give Flora a big hug and then he rubbed her head…
Francis ( makes his face) : Little sis, you have grown up already!!!
Everyone burst out laughing when Flora pushed Francis away.
Flora : Hey!!! You ruffled my hair!! ( turns to Gallen) : Gallen!!
Gallen ( puts his hands around her slender waist) : Francis.. I warn you.. don't bother my girlfriend anymore!!!
Francis ( bares his teeth in a grin) : Okie okie...I'd better not touch a cop like you!!
Jessica : Wrong!! You'd better not touch his girlfriend!
Myolie ( comes towards Flora ) : Happy birthday to you, Flora jie... Let's me introduce( points at Steven who is busy with keeping his eyes on Ada) Here's...
Ada : Steven Ma... Why are you here?
Steven ( shows the very innocent face ) : Hi everybody... ( tunrs to Ada) : I am tagging her here.. my little sister, Myolie..
Flora( covers her mouth in surprise and raises her voice ) : Ah.. then you are...( catches Ada's scowl ) ..you are .. Steven!
Steven ( extends his hands) : Nice to meet you and happy birthday!!!
Flora ( also extends her hands while winks at Ada ) : Thanks !!!
The living room was full of laughter and joyfulness. Frankie, Kenix and Moses were enjoying themselves with the birthday cake while Flora, Ada, Jessica, Myolie, Francis and Steven were gathering in knots.
Francis : Time to playing card!!!
Ada, Flora and Jessica ( echo) : Ah, playing card!!
Steven : Sounds interesting!! How is the rules of the games?
Francis ( touchs his chin) : Very simple. The rule was called : " Let's do as request". The loser have to execute the winner's request.
Jessica ( supplements) : Without query and objection, right?
Francis : Exactly!!! Let's see who is the brave one!!!
Flora ( pulls Gallen's sleeves) : Gallen, come and join me!!!
Gallen ( smiles ) : Okie, I am your mastermind. ( sits down beside her with the piece of cake in his hands) : Let me feed you first... Open your mouth, baby...

Flora ( cheers up ) : Gallen, I win...hehe...I win. ( give Ada a sly look) : Ada...You are too lousy...
Francis : Ah, today is your day, Flora.
Ada ( dissatisfied ) : It's unfair... Flora has an advisor.
Myolie ( intervenes) : Ada jie, you also have one if you want ( jerks up her chin to Steven)
Flora : Time for punishment!!! Everybody!!
Ada showed a pitiful face which was filled with intimidation : Flora, I am your best friend!
Flora ( grins) : Hey, after considering Ada's feelings, I decided to give her a very sweet request!!
Everybody : what??
Flora : Ada, you can choose a bachelor among Frankie, Gallen and Steven ...and ..kiss him...
Ada : Arghhhhh!!!
Kenix ( chuckles) : So many choices!!!
Jessica : Wait !! Wait!!! Frankie is geting married soon, my cousin Gallen has Flora already...they aren't counted single ones...so only one choice remained ( wink at Steven)
Ada ( shouts ) : NO...!!!
Francis : Ada, obey the rule, if not, you would regret it!!!
Ada ( recalls something ) : How about Francis? He is still single , right? Hmm.. and Moses?
Flora : You are so choosy and greedy, Ada!!!!
Myolie ( in hasty) : No way... If you don't carry out Flora jie's request spontaneously, we have to put up the punishment…
Ada ( provocatively ) : Who cares?
Francis winked at the others and the remaining bodily stood up to tug Ada to Steven, ignoring her strong struggle.
Ada ( struggles and screams) : Let's me off... Flora... rememeber what you do today.. you too, Francis.. Frankie.. such friends you are!!!
When the crowds scattered, all they could see... As a couple, Steven's lips was pressing onto Ada's. The two interested party's faces becomes as red as a peach. As soon as possible, Ada pushed Steven away with all her strength.
Everybody ( claps their hands) : Bravo Ada!!! Bravo..
Ada : Ok..finished the first game...
Flora ( giggles) : Ada, do you want more? At least you are a brave one...

Flora ( hides herself behind Gallen ) : Gallen, you are a bad advisor. You should take full responsibility for my lost.
Francis ( grins) : Flora, come here...as good as your words.
Ada ( encourages) : Yeah yeah...punish her for me, Francis!!
Francis : calm down , Ada...Flora, today is your birthday... I decide to give you an extra gift!!!
Flora ( makes her face) : What?
Francis : Honour to kiss me!!!
Flora ( laughs) : You call it honour??? Where?
Francis ( points a his lips) : Here...
Flora ( throws the cushion into him) : Nonsence !!!!
Francis ( points at his cheek) : So here ok…(Flora gave him a kiss on his cheek)
Ada ( screams ) : It's to easy to her.. unfair!! Unfair!!!

A deafening crash made everybody startle. The small porcelain plate on Gallen's hands dropped onto the granite-paved floor .. and crashed into pieces. Some drops of blood stained on the white-colored cream of the cake. Flora hurriedly ran toward Gallen and held his hands tightly :
Flora ( anxious) : Are you alright Gallen? Look…your finger is bleeding.
Quickly, Flora came to pick some first-aid bandage to dress the wound.
Gallen : It's okie Flora.. it's only a small graze!!!
Flora ( worried) : It's not only a graze.. It's bleeding.
And she became more worried when she felt that Gallen's hands was trembling in hers.. and yes, it was! Thereafter she detected something weird from him. The fibre in his face was quaking with the restraint shown clearly. She was worried, pathetically worried!
