Chapter 13
The Worse Goodbye!
Today was the last day, finally. I couldn’t express the happiness that overflowed me, until my mother ruined it with her so called “good” news. Since it was the last day that the boys were going to be here, she decided that “we” me and her were going to have to do something special for the boys. That special something was, yes you guessed it a food party. She came to a realization (on the last day!)That the boys looked too unnourished, thus as a mother she had to do something to fatten them up. I swear she probably doesn’t realize that they were healthy enough, you would by just looking at Oppa.
“Haneul!”Mother yelled, “Go get the live chickens from the yard.”
“L-l-live chi-chicken?” I said. ‘Why the hell did she buy live chicken?’
“Yes, hon. I found out that Woo Young absolutely loves chicken so I decided to buy fresh chicken for him!” My mother grinned. She hadn’t remembered the last time she had bought chicken, how she made me get it and I almost got my eyes pecked out because of it.
‘Oh, brother.’ I walked to from the kitchen to see that the boys where sitting on the couch leisurely, laughing and joking around. ‘What the hell. Why are they sitting so happily when I’m walking to my death?’ I grabbed the nearest broom and walked out to the yard. I stood there looking at the chickens they were gathered in corner, like how the boys where when I brought my girlfriends, I chuckled as I thought of that moment. I moved closer to the chickens and they started to scream, they swarmed towards me. I couldn’t help myself but start whacking the chickens and running at the same time towards the house. When I got inside of the house I could see red peck marks on my leg, and feather all over my clothes; I looked like looney. I heard giggles in front of me; I stared to see that all of them were standing looking at me with pink faces waiting to explode in laughter.
“What the hell happened?” Oppa asked.
“Chi-chickens,” I shuddered.
“Oh la la,” Woo Young said, “Chickens~ Yum. Where are they?”
“Yard.” I replied.
“Their live chicken?” TaecYeon asked.
“Yes, and I can’t catch them.”
“Their easy to catch, just go out there and grab them,” Jaebum said.
“If it so easy, you do it!” I said.
“Uh, never mind,” he said. Everyone looked at me, I looked at them.
“Go, go get the chickens,” Oppa said.
“Come with me?” I whimpered, this was the first time I ever begged them to come with me and I felt embarrassed and ashamed.
“Should we?” Nichkhun pondered teasingly.
“Umm, uh ok I guess we will have to help the poor girl,” Woo Young said.
“Okay, let’s go see them!” Junsu hollered. We all went to the yard and when the boys saw the chickens, they immediately froze.
“W-why are they so big?” Taec said.
“What’s with their faces?” Jaebum said.
"Hyung don't worry about the faces, just grab." Oppa said.
"Uh, don't they look a bit murderous?" Woo Young whispered. The chickens looked at us ready to charge at anytime.
"Why don't we just leave?" Junho said.
"Aren't you going to help me?" I asked.
"Uh, Oh yeah. Um, later?" Nichkhun stalled. I knew it they were going to bail after they saw the chickens; I knew that they were no help.
"Hyung, let's just get the over and done with," Oppa smiled. Everyone looked at him, he had this face on; a game face. His eyes where fiery and it seemed as though he was a tiger ready to pounce on his helpless prey; chickens. He ran like the wind slowly gathering them up, all we had to do was watch him. When he was done, he looked like he had just fought a war, he had feathers everywhere with a lot of chicken poop on him.
"Ew, dude you smell really bad," Junho said, slowly moving away from him, "Go take a show--- actually before that go and take the chickens into the house for Auntie." Oppa smiled weirdly and did as Junho said.
"Phew, that was hard work," Jaebum said.
"You didn't do anything," I said staring at him.
"Well of course I did," he said, "I fed Chansung before we came out to help. I gave him strength to do this work." With that he walked towards the door.
When mother was finish with the food everyone walked out to table and sat down, "Isn’t this wonderful?"Mother said.
"Of course,” Everyone yelled staring hungrily at the food.
"Haneul go get the last couple of plates in the kitchen,” Mother ordered. I stood up and started to move towards the kitchen, when I was around the corner I saw something small running across the floor. Another ran, and then another. I stared at it dazed, what were those black things. I walked closer to get a view, and that’s when I saw it. "AHHHHHHHHHHH~" I ran towards the dining room, screaming like a madman.
"What’s wrong?" Junsu said with a stuffed face.
"M-m-m-mouse~!" I screamed.
"You got to be kidding---"Junho said.
Everyone looked at Chansung Oppa, "I'm sorry?"
When I thought that I could've gotten rid of them, Oppa had to do something stupid to make my life miserable...
