front of her face, as Marc was about to take a photo
with his camera. He laughed, putting the camera down,
as it hung around his neck. "Let's keep walking."
She said, trudging across the sand ahead of him.
He followed after her, as they walked along the
empty beach. She remained silent for a moment,
as he caught up to her, as they walked side by
side. "I'll tell him." "I can't tell him." "I have
to tell him." "I can't risk it." "Tell him? Don't
tell him." She thought to herself, frantically.
He nudged her out of her thoughts. "Hey. You alright?"
He asked. She looked up at him, nodding. "Yeah. Just
thinking. Should we go back now?" She asked him.
He nodded, and they went back to his car, driving
her home. When they arrived in her driveway, she
unbuckled her seatbelt, when he spoke up.
"Oh, hey. Here." He told her, and pulled out a small
gift bag from the backseat. Her eyes widened in
disbelief. She finally regained composure.
"Oh thanks. You didn't have to." She said. He smiled.
"It's cool. I'll see you then." He said. She nodded,
smiling and got out, closing the door behind her.
She waved goodbye and went to her house, and walked into
her room. She sat down at her desk, and pulled out
a purple hard bound journal that she had seen at
the Border's Bookstore, when she and Marc were there
last week. She opened it, and a note fell out onto
her floor. She picked it up, opening it.

Hey Isa
I thought you might need something new to write in.
Hope you like it and thanks again for the camera holder.
Oh yeah, and my little brother really likes you. I
do too, I mean you know, as friends. Anyways, since
you said you stopped your counseling, and are going to
go out on your own. Best of luck on your blind or
not so blind dates. I really hope you find the guy
you're looking for.

Isa gasped as she finished reading the letter.
"He couldn't possibly be...could he? But.. the
gift bag. Oh my god. What do I do now?" She wondered
frantically.
