Joe hated the thought of it, but he knew he just wanted her for her body. And what a body it was, she was short like Ariel, she didn’t have long legs. But the naturally tanned skin, and beautiful long straight hair, with an absolutely slim hourglass figure, and that little birthmark on her face. It was to die for.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to come in?” He made puppy eyes, it always seemed to work with girls.
“Joe, I am absolutely sure, for the umpteenth time.”
“Ahh! You don’t like me, eh?” Joe asked praying to God that she took it as teasing and not as emotional blackmail. He would die before he used that tactic on a woman.
“Joe…I like you very, very, very much.” She replied with a sigh. “It’s just that…that…I’m not ready.” She flushed.
“Rainie…I wont hurt you, I hope you would soon be ready. I’ll wait.” He smiled.
“Xie Xie Ni Joe.” Rainie bowed and closed the door behind her.
Joe sighed and leaned against the door. When would he proceed to the next level with her? He wasn’t ashamed to say he only wanted her body. She was an interesting woman, and smart, and funny, and all those things, but she wasn’t what Joe wanted. When he pictured himself with a wife, he imagined her to be…something else…something different. Someone every man would want, and desire, but only he could have. Rainie was…different, but not what he wanted. She didn’t fit any qualities he wanted in a wife.
His list was…
Hot Body.
Humour.
Inteligence.
Elegance.
Grace.
And of course, beauty. This was a lethal combination. Every woman prayed to be like her, and every man desired her.
Search as he might, he couldn’t find her. He couldn’t settle with anyone. He was looking for that woman with these deadly qualities.
The reason he became a flirt, or as Ariel called him, a player, was because he was looking for those qualities in every woman he dated. He could never find all of them in one woman. Some were beautiful, but didn’t have sex appeal. Some did, but lacked in grace. Some had elegance, and some had intelligence. He couldn’t find all the qualities in one woman.
Joe sighed and walked to the exit. Rainie? She had intelligence, and beauty. But where was the sex appeal? She was the girl next door. Not his type. He could never be with a woman that was so good. He would puke at her innocence and kindness. He was the kind to shove people aside in lines, and talk rudely to the waiter and well, etc, etc.
The point was, he was getting tired of Rainie. So much so, that he believed it was time to tell her to leave, even though they weren’t intimate with each other. This would be a new record for him of course, to dump someone without sleeping with them. But well, there’s a first time for everything isn’t there?
Joe was walking slowly towards his car, when he spotted her…the most beautiful woman he had ever seen! Of course, all he could see was her back.
“Hey…”He called out randomly. He never spoke to women like that, totally out of the blue. He was the shy type. At least that’s how his fan clubs describe him. He smirked at the thought. That’s why half the women fell for him. He gotta thank those kids writing about him.
“Hey.” The woman replied and out the key into her car door.
“I’m Joe…Joe Cheng…”
“I know.” She replied.
“Well?”
“Well what?” She replied looking up at him.
“What’s yours?” He asked impatiently.v “What’s my what?” The woman smiled up at him.
“Your name?” Joe asked patiently. Beauty-full marks, sex appeal-full marks, intelligence-nil!
“Ah! I’m Ella, Ella Chen. Do you…live here?”
“No, just here to see a friend.”
“Girlfriend?” She asked smiling, but Joe knew she was curious if he had one, so that if he doesn’t she could snatch him!
“No…just an old friend.”
“Ohh.” She smiled, her face relaxing already.
“What about you? You’re all dressed up…want to meet your boyfriend?”
“No, going to a party…want to come?” She teased.
“On such short notice?” Joe asked surprised.
“Haha! Yeah, I don’t have a date for tonight. I was hoping to find a date at the party but…”
“Where is this party?” Joe asked getting into the game. Ella was finally getting him intrigued.
“At my friend’s place. Her name is Lisa. It would be fun to introduce a celebrity and throw it in her face. Gosh! She has so much arrogance.”
“Well, today Lisa is going to be a hell of a lot disappointed.”
“I bet she is.” Ella winked. “Let’s go then.”
“Sure.”

He had got what he had wanted. Rainie had finally given in. He left her at her bed, and left a note. The final note to their relationship. He wanted nothing to do with her now that she had become his. Finally, because he was getting really tired of this.
He didn’t want to seem like a bad guy, but he couldn’t help it. Of course, he was afraid, like he always was, about what the reactions might be. But he sighed, and walked on. Girls like Rainie, didn’t complain. They thought the things that happened to the was their bad luck and moved on. They never bothered to create a scene, or start a fight, with people that hurt them. They just let it slide.
Joe was glad; he knew how to treat every woman. He had praised himself countless times, thinking he had dated every kind of women and had worked his way around every sort of situation, and knew he was a certified player.
No woman could defeat him, but he wished he wasn’t undefeated. He wanted his one true love, to come along and admit defeat.
He was getting tired of the countless women, and Casanova bit. He didn’t want to be a womanizer anymore.
He was scared Britney would come chase him!
As far as Joe knew, he had to be defeated by his one true love, who would come into his life any day now.
He walked into his home and took a bath. He had weighed the option of having a bath at Rainie’s house, but he was afraid she would wake up.
He didn’t want to mess up, he hadn’t given her his phone number or his address. Of course, it would be easy for her to find out his details, but then again, Rainie was a good girl, and good girls don’t stalk.
“Angels.” Joe spoke out loud in his bath. “Are not for me.” He smiled and applied shampoo oh his hair.
He needed someone to tame his wild ways, and unlike many other Casanovas, he was ready to fall head over heels for whoever attempts t do it. It would be hard, considering Gold diggers were around, but he was waiting and ready!
