“Can you ask me, while we move out of this room?”
“No.”
“Ariel...I’m serious...If we want to be back by lunch, we better leave now.”
“Joe, it’s about leaving this room...”
“What about it?” Joe asked bravely attempting to open the door.
“No! Don’t you dare!”
“Ariel! This is my fifth attempt to get us out of this room! What the heck is your problem?”
“Joe...can we...um...stay in this room only? I mean...not go out.”
“You mean we cancel our plans and go out after lunch?”
“No...I mean...we don’t go out...at all.”
“Eh?”
“You heard me.”
“Why should we not go anywhere?” Joe asked raising one eyebrow. This irritated Ariel even more. All her life, she showed off to her friends that she could roll her tongue, she could pop her eyes out of it’s sockets, she even proudly showed off her fracture and proudly carried off the name-‘Gothic girl.’
But she could never raise one eyebrow. It was the single most impossible thing. She tried everything she could, to do it. She even held one eyebrow tightly while raising her eyebrows. But the darn thing kept popping up with the other one!
“Because I’m...I’m...” Ariel weighed the odds. Would this little confession make her seem crazy? She already seems crazy because she forced him to get married to her and because of the cockroach incident, she didn’t want to seem more crazy. The fact was that Ariel wanted to destroy this man’s life, but she didn’t want him to think she’s crazy. God forbid!
“You? What?”
“I’m scared of Egypt.” Ariel said so softly Joe had to inch forward to hear it.
“You’re scared of ‘de pit’?”
“What’s ‘de pit’?”
“I don’t know.”
“Then why’d you say it?”
“You said it.”
“I didn’t.”
“You said you’re scared of ‘de pit’ or was it ‘de fit’.”
“I didn’t say that...I said I’m scared of...of...Egypt.”
“What’s that now?”
“EGYPT! Ok? I’m scared of Egypt! The whole stupid country scares the crap out of me.”
Joe blinked. He blinked again. This was getting ridiculous.
“May I ask...what are you not scared of?”
“Oh haha!”
“No, really. For future references.”
“Well...”
“What’s so scary about Egypt?”
“Well, um...I once saw this report, on the discovery channel, that, some people came to Egypt, and they went into the caves...”
“Pyramids, Egypt don’t have caves.”
“...yea, well, the pyramids, and when they returned home, they mysteriously died! This is because the Egyptian God’s got angry! So I promised them, I would never enter their pyramids or come to Egypt! Ever! I broke one promise...I cant break the other too. Or I will...you know...die too!”
“Oh, so you’re telling me, every person going to Egypt comes back and dies?”
“Well, that’s what they said in the report.”
“So...basically, you...you would believe anything?”
“Not everything! Just facts!”
“Ariel, do you know...how many people have gone to Egypt? In one day at least a hundred people go and come back from Egypt. Have you ever heard of these people dying?”
“No, but maybe, the Egyptians want to hide it...”
“There she goes again...”Joe sighed.
“Yes! That’s it! The Egyptians are hiding it! They’re bribing every news house in the world!”
“Yes! Because we all know, Egypt has recently won the lottery!”
“They did?!”
“Oh come on! You are going out with me to see the pyramids and that is final!”
“You cant boss me around!”
“Oh! I just did! And you know what? You would have to obey! Otherwise I will bring a whole bunch of cockroaches in here!”
“Like the hotel people would allow you to do that!”
“I’m rich baby! Money helps!”
“I’m not going! If you want to die that’s fine! But I wont go!”
“You wont?”
“No!”
“You wont?”
“No! No! No!”
“Fine I have just one thing to do now!”
“Oh yea? What’s...PUT ME DOWN!!!”
Joe didn’t listen. He carried Ariel over his shoulders and started looking for his wallet.
“PUT ME DOWN YOU INSANE BEAST!”
“Well, if this is what it takes to make you come along, then this is what I will do.”
“PUT ME DOWN!”
“No I wont! I would only do that if you say you would come along with me and be civilized!”
“Civilized! Look at what you’re doing!”
“Say it!”
“No!”
Joe spank Ariel’s butt and gave a toothy laugh.

Ok guys! I know I took a long time for this, and this one isn't even so great! But Itz gonna get better! And Im sorry I took so long. Well first I had my boards! Which decide which degree college I go to, so they were important. Then I had this job I had to go to, and was so tired that I cudn update! Then I had this major fever. One bad thing happened after another, and I had to leave my job! Lol my life became like a soap! Haha! So what Im trying to say is, I had pretty strong reasons for not updating! But now Im all fine and job free. SO I'll update whenever my creative mind allows me to. Sorry for making u guys wait and sorry bout u guys havin to keep askin me to update! well hea it is! Hope u enjoy! Nd yes yes! Believe it or not! This one is actually on itz way to become a drama!
