"How about us guys, don't say that we look pretty too, cause guys aren't suppose to look pretty," joked Louis.
"Louis, Tae you two look dashing!" said Ruby in an elegant voice.
"How about me?" asked Dicky.
"Hmp! I'm still angry at you!" replied Ruby.
"Come on Ruby, don't be mad, we were just playing, please forgive me!" begged Dicky.
"Fine I'll forgive you under one condition," replied Ruby.
"Anything," answered Dicky, Ruby smiled, he immediately regretted saying anything.
"Anything hmmm? Well let's see you can go around to every single cute guy you see and take a picture and ask for their number for me," said Ruby.
"What are you crazy? I'm a guy, I can't ask for another guy's number!" exclaimed Dicky everyone laughed. "Come on Ruby, don't make me do that."
"You're the one who said anything!" she simply answered.
Jessica felt sorry for him, and pointed out, "Ruby he's got a point, he is a guy he wouldn't be able to tell the difference between an ugly guy and a cute guy!"
"Ya Jesse's right, Dicky has no tastes in guys! Look at his friends, other than Louis and Tae." said Teresa.
"True," said Ruby, "but now he owes me one favor!" she announced.
"Alright," he agreed, "Anything for my honey bunny!" replied Dicky.
"Urg, I give up!" sighed Ruby throwing her hands in the air.
"Come on kids lets go!" called Benny.
"Bye sweetie, take care!" Dicky said as he walked outside.
"Bye Ruby! Bye Jimmy have fun a t home alone!" winked Teresa.
"We will, don't worry," joked Ruby.
"Have fun at the ball!" said Jimmy.
They left.
"So, it's just you and me now, huh?" asked Ruby.
"Yeah I guess," replied Jimmy.
"Umm, what do you want to do?" asked Ruby.
"I don't know, I'll do anything you want to do," answered Jimmy.
Ruby blushed.
They decided to order pizza and rent movies.

~With the Others~
"Are we there yet? I'm tired!" complained Annie.
"A few more blocks to go!" answered Benny.
"That's what you said a few blocks back!" replied Louis.
"Trust me kids, we're almost there," declared Benny.
They eventually got to the hall where the ball was taking place.
"We're here. We're finally here!" praised Dicky jumping up and down as he ran into the building.
"Hold on ladies I'm coming!" exclaimed Louis as he ran inside.
"Umm…Louis! Dicky wait for me!" shouted Tae running in after him.
"Darn too bad Ruby didn't come, I know for sure that we're going to be the centre of attention later, and you know how much she loves being the centre of attention," stated Annie.
"Ya but old Mr.Lam's going to be here, and I doubt that he wants to see Ruby, remember?" asked Jessica.
"Yes sir, No sir Of course not sir!" laughed Vicki, trying to imitate Ruby.
"Is he still alive?" asked Teresa.
"Ya he is, but he retired already!" answered Jessica.
"Let's go girls, let's get the party started!" exclaimed Annie excitedly. Annie ran in the building, she accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh sorry sir or madam," she apologized.
"It's not a problem miss," replied a gentle masculine voice.
Annie looked up and starred into his face. He was so handsome, he had fairly tanned skin and looked a little older than her.
"Hi, I'm Julian Cheung," he greeted offering her his hand.
"I'm Annie Chan," she gasped starring into his mysterious eyes.
"It was a pleasure meeting you Miss Chan," said Julian smiling at her revealing his adorable dimples.
Annie was going to faint.
"Annie! Let's go!" shouted Vicki.
"I…umm…" she was at a lost for words, which was a very awkward situation because Annie always had something to say.
"You have to go?" replied Julian trying to guess what Annie was trying to say.
She nodded.
"Alright, see you later, I hope," he said and bid farewell.
As soon as he was out of sight, Annie let out a huge sigh, "Wow! He is so hot!" she thought out loud.
"Looks like our tomboy Annie is in love!" teased Teresa.
"NO! I'm not!" exclaimed Annie.
"Alright can we party now?" asked Jessica.
They headed toward the party room. Annie kept wondering who that guy was, she couldn't stop thinking about him.
When they entered the hall everything seemed so elegant and fancy, all heads turned when the four girls entered. Annie was right they were the centre of attention. They were in the spot light.
Within minutes there were many young and handsome guys surrounding them. The girls began flirting with the guys around them.
They spotted Louis, Dicky and Tae who were having the same problems but with girls. Louis and Dicky seemed to be enjoying themselves, while Tae looked confused and overwhelmed.
Vicki was surrounded by guys some really cute but others not so cute, but she still flirted with them.
"Vicki! Vicki! Over here!" shouted a voice from her left side.
Vicki heard her name a looked to see who it was. She looked to her right, there wasn't anyone she recognized. She looked on her left, indeed there was someone jumping up and down and screaming her name trying to get her attention. She asked the people to move out of the way. She slowly approached the person.

Jessica was surrounded by a bunch of boring people, who only talked about how much money they had, no one interesting. Jessica was really polite she didn't want to run away from them, so she stood there nodding her head to everything anybody said.
"You know Jessica…" said one guy.
"Yes, oh really?" asked Jessica trying to sound impressed. "Would you excuse me, I need to use the bathroom," she excused herself. She practically ran to the dessert table to hide, she couldn't take anymore of this useless information! She had to hide.
"Excuse me Miss would you like to dance?" asked a familiar voice.

Dicky was being tortured. All these girls were all girly girls. All they talk about were how they looked and how pretty they think they were.
Dicky was bored out of his mind if he hears another story about a bad hair day he was going to explode. He had to come up with something quick. He noticed someone who also looked as bored as he. "Sorry girls, my girlfriend is waiting for me over there!" he said as he approached her.

Louis was the only one having a blast. He was surrounded by beautiful girls who adored him.

Teresa was probably having the worst problem. She scared away most of the guys who were hitting on her, but there was one guy who wouldn't take no for answer.
"GO AWAY OR I'LL BET THE CRAP OUT OF YOU!" yelled Teresa.
"Oh a feisty one, that's my kind of girl!" he replied.
"HELLO? DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? I SAID BEAT IT!" she screamed.
"Come on tell me your name. I'm Gordon Lam," he begged
"NO! LEAVE ME ALONE!" she shrieked even louder.
"Please tell me your name and I'll leave you alone!" Gordon promised.
"Fine GORDON LAM, I'm Teresa Mak! You happy know?" she asked.
"Yup, but if you dance with me I'll be happier," he announced.
"LISTEN YOU JERK! YOU BETTER LEAVE ME ALONE OR…OR!" said Teresa.
"Or what?" he asked moving closer towards her.
"OR I'LL BEAT YOU UP!" she declared.
"Really? I'd like to see that," he said caressing her cheek.
Tae seeing Teresa in trouble ran immediately to her aid.
"Don't touch me!" she yelled as she slapped him.
He caught her hand, "I knew you were going to do that," he chuckled.
"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HER!" yelled Tae.
"Who are you?" Gordon asked.
"TAE!" yelled Teresa.
"Does it matter?" he asked. "Now are you going to let her go?"
Gordon didn't want to cause a scene so gave up, "Whatever you can have her, she's not that pretty anyway," he said as he let her go. "See you around, Teresa!" and he left.
"You okay Teresa?" asked Tae all concerned.
"Ya, I'm fine," she replied.
"This party's boring, you want to go for a walk?" asked Tae.
She nodded. The two left the party.

"Hi Miss…" said a young male voice.
"Annie, Annie Chan," she answered. "And you are?"
"Frankie Lam, at your service," he bowed.
Annie giggled. "Lam?" she asked. "Are you related to Old Mr. Lam by any chance?"
"Yes, he's my grumpy old great uncle," replied Frankie.
"Frankie would you like to dance?" Annie asked.
"I would love to, Miss Annie," he accepted. Right at that moment Gordon stomped by angrily and stormed outside.
"Who was that?" asked Annie.
"Can I take a rain check on that dance, I think I better go talk to my cousin," said Frankie.
Annie nodded. Frankie ran after his cousin.
The only other decent guy at the party left. Annie felt extremely bored.
"Excuse me Miss Chan, would you like to dance with me?" asked a sweet gentle masculine voice.
Annie turned around. "It's you!"

~Outside~
"Gordon!" screamed Frankie. He stopped. "What happened?" he asked.
"This girl rejected me!" he shouted.
"Is that all?" Frankie asked. "Then go fine another one!"
"But she was the only attractive one in there!" Gordon complained.
"Then go let's go clubbing!" Frankie suggested.
"Great idea!" agreed Gordon.

"Vicki!" he screamed when he saw her approach.
"Nicholas?" Vicki asked. "I didn't know you were in Hong Kong! What are you doing here?" exclaimed Vicki hugging her friend.
Nicholas was one of Jimmy and Vicki's close friends in Taiwan. Nicholas always had a crush on her.
"I'm here with my dad for this charity thing. You?" he asked.
"I came back to visit my friends at the orphanage, and they dragged me to this party," explained Vicki.
"Oh I see, Vic do you want to dance with me?" asked Nicholas.
"Why certainly," replied Vicki happily.

"Dicky? What are you doing over here, why aren't you over there with your fan club?" asked Jessica.
"Don't remind me those girls are so shallow! It was me this and me that!" exclaimed Dicky.
"Dicky, why are they giving me the evil eye?" she asked.
"Well I kinda said you were my girlfriend so I could get away," he explained.
"You told them what?" she asked.
"Just be my date for tonight, and pretend to be my girlfriend!" said Dicky. "I'll pretend to be your boyfriend, so these people won't bother us anymore! PLEASE JESSICA!" Dicky begged on his knees.
"Alright," laughed Jessica. "Let's go outside on the balcony to get some fresh air," she suggested.
"Yes darling anything you say!" agreed Dicky.
They went outside to look at the stars.
"WOW!" she exclaimed.
"I know isn't it beautiful?" he asked.
"What do you think?" she asked.
"Do you believe in having a soul mate?" asked Dicky still starring at the stars.
"I don't know," answered Jessica.
"I believe that everyone has one special someone out there for them. One person to share all their secrets and problems with. And when they meet they'll know that they've found there soul mate for life," replied Dicky.
"That sounds sweet," said Jessica. "I didn't know you thought so much about these kinds of things."
"There's a lot that you don't know!" teased Dicky.
"Why you…" said Jessica while chasing him around the balcony like kids.
They talked and joked around all night. There bond had grown closer.

"Hey Teresa wait up," called Tae.
"Can you stop following me!" asked Teresa.
"Nope!" he answered.
"WHY?" she asked. "Why do you care so much?"
"Because you're my friend, friends are suppose to look out for each other right?" answered Tae.
"I guess so," she replied. She looked into his eyes. She knew he meant it.
"You guess so? You're the one who taught me that!" exclaimed Tae.
Teresa laughed and began walking. She took a few steps then stopped, and asked, "Are you coming or not?"
"I'm coming!" he proclaimed.
They walked around the streets. Teresa was trying to blow off some steam.

"It's you!" shrieked Annie. She can feel her heart beating faster and faster. "Julian Cheung."
"So you can talk after all," joked Julian.
Annie pouted and was a little embarrassed.
"Oh don't be sad, you look so pretty when you're smiling," said Julian.
Annie couldn't help but laugh.
"So?" he asked.
"So what?" she replied.
"Would you like to dance?" he asked again.
"Hmm, I would like to dance, but…with who," giggled Annie.
"Why with me silly," laughed Julian offering her his hand.
"I'd love to!" agreed Annie.
They danced all night.
A while later Annie got tired of dancing to slow songs so decided to go find the girls and ask if they'd like to go clubbing. All of them agreed to go. Annie introduced them to Julian and Vicki introduced them to Nicholas.
Annie approached her dad, "Daddy the girls and I are going clubbing!"
"Alright sweetie have fun," he replied.
Annie, Julian, Vicki, Nicholas, Teresa, Tae, Jessica and Dicky headed towards the door. "HEY WAIT FOR ME!" exclaimed Louis running after them.
The all headed to the All Night Club, that was located down the street.
