“You’re mommy went out for a little while, she asked me to watch you for a few hours,” said Benny. He set them down on the ground, “Here play with the other kids.”
“Uncle Frankie!” exclaimed Julie running into his arms. “You owe me presents!”
“Heh…she sounds like Louis,” said Vicki. “Always about the presents.”
“You know her?” Ada asked.
“Ya…” answered Frankie. “This is Julie and her brother Allan, they’re….they’re my …third cousin’s…ex-girlfriend’s…sister’s kids.”
“Okie…kewl…” said Won Bin.
“Where’s your mother?” Frankie asked.
Allan shrugged, “She was sleeping, then poof, she disappeared.”
“The doofus is right,” answered Julie.
“She definitely reminds me of someone,” said Ruby.
Michelle was still thinking, “Third cousin…” she mumbled, “Ey…aren’t we your third cousin’s?” she asked.
“On my mother’s side of the family,” he explained, putting Julie down, and shooing her to go play.

“Hey Ryan!” Ally announced giving him a hug. “How are you my adorable, turtle panty wearing friend?”
“Drop it Ally, do you even remember where you came up with that name?” Ryan asked.
Ally shook her head, “Alls I knows is that you’re afraid of me,” she answered.
“I am not afraid of a first grader,” answered Ryan.
“Ya?” asked Ally.
Ryan nodded.
She jumped up and kissed his cheek.
Ryan rubbed his cheek, and continued watching television.
“Hey! You’re suppose to run around screaming, AHHHH STOP!” she announced running in a circle.
“Listen Ally, you’re six and I’m ten, I don’t want to play with you anymore,” replied Ryan. “If people at school ever heard that I hang out with first graders then my rep is killed,” he answered.
Ally hit Ryan’s chest, “You’re mean! I hate you! You’re not a nice boy no more!” she exclaimed hoping off the couch.
Ryan rolled his eyes and continued watching television. He felt a little guilty for making Ally upset, he’s always had a soft spot for her, but he was a grown up now, he can’t always go around playing little girly games with her. Besides there are a bunch of other girls for Ally to play with, not just him.
“Who are you?” Ken asked, looking at Allan.
“Allan, and this is my sister Julie,” he answered.
“Older sister,” replied Julie. “And you are?”
“I don’t talk to cooty face girls,” answered Ken.
Julie was going to whack him in the nose.
Jason held out his hand, “Jason Chen, pleasure to meet you,” he said, smiling, revealing his dimples in which he inherited from Ruby.
“Julie Man,” answered Julie, shaking Jason’s hand.
“That’s my brother Ken,” Jason answered. “He’s just trying to hold up a bad boy image.”
“How old is he?” Julie asked. “Two?”
“We’re seven,” answered Jason. “You?”
“Same,” answered Julie.
“When’s your birthday?” both asked at the same time.
“December 20th,” answered Jason.
“Me and Allan are older,” answered Julie, “Our birthday is December 15th.”
“Wow five days, big woppee doo,” answered Ken. “Come on Jay, let’s go.”
Jason looked at his brother than at Julie, “I’m going,” answered Jason. He looked at Julie. “I’m going to go, the girls are playing upstairs, and I saw my cousin run around her somewhere. I’m going to go,” replied Jason. “I’ll see you around. Ey! Ken! Wait up!” he announced chasing after his brother.
Julie rolled her eyes, “Boys are all weird! But this one is different, I guess...”
The kids played in two separate groups, the boys and the girls.
Emily, Anita and Kelly jumped on the couch beside Ryan, “Where’s Ally?” they asked.
“Isn’t she with you?” Ryan asked.
“Haven’t seen her,” answered Kelly.
“Last time I saw her she said she hated you,” said Anita.
“What did you do?” Emily asked slapping the back of his head.
“Why do all you girls like slapping the back of people’s head?” Ryan asked. “You know how long it took to do my hair?”
“Where’s my cousin, you bum bum!” exclaimed Kelly jumping on Ryan.
”Ey…I’m your cousin too!” said Ryan.
”But I see you everyday, but only see Ally once a year!” answered Kelly.
“Ya Ryan, where’s my sister?” asked Anita.
Emily pulled Ryan’s ear, “Come on, help us look for her.”
“Why am I the only guy that gets picked on?” Ryan sighed, getting up to look for Ally.

“I have an announcement,” announced Frankie.
Everyone looked at him.
“Kenix and I…” he began.
“Ya? Keep going,” said Michelle.
“We’re getting married,” answered Frankie.
The girls started jumping around and cheering. They suffocated her in hugs.
“Hmmm…now the only couple who needs to get married is Gigi and Dicky,” announced Kristy.
Gigi looked at Dicky, while he looked away.
“And Ada and Nicky,” added Cecilia.
“”Eh…since when were the two of you a couple?” Kenix asked. “Why wasn’t I informed?”
“The only loner is Julian…”
“MOMMY!” Kelly came running to Ruby.
“What is it sweetie?” Ruby asked.
“Ryan made Ally disappear,” said Kelly.
“NO!” exclaimed Ryan. “Ally’s just playing hide and seek.”
“Where’ve you looked?” asked Louis.
“Everywhere,” answered Kelly.
Ruby thought for a second, she looked at Vicki then at the closet.
“No she can’t be in there!” announced Benny.
Ally was hiding in the closet, Annie tried her best to stay hidden.
“Ally likes hiding in small spaces,” said Louis, they approached the door and opened it, they found Ally. “Hey sweetie,” Louis said. “What are you doing in here?” he asked.
“I hate Ryan!” she announced, she was pouting, and her eyes were beginning to get teary. “He’s mean now!”
“Ally, don’t say hate,” Kristy said.
“But I do! I hate Ryan! He’s a turtle panty wearing big dumb, dumb head!” announced Ally.
Annie’s shoes were sticking out.
“Wow, look those shoes are pretty,” exclaimed Ruby, she was about to grab it.
“NO!” exclaimed Benny, he recognized it, being Annie’s shoes.
Julie was walking by and saw her mommy’s shoes’ too, “Grandpa, I thought you said mommy went out, did she leave without her shoes?” Julie asked.
Benny was at a lost for words.
Julie was picking up the shoe, “Grandpa, there’s a foot stuck to this shoe, and its heavy!”
Benny closed his head, and shook his head.
“Julie put that foot, I mean shoe down,” Frankie said, trying to close the closet.
“Did you people lock my mommy in the closet?” exclaimed Julie, reopening the closet. She entered and disappeared.
“Is it a person or creature in there?” Grace asked.
“Uh…the kid disappeared,” replied Edison.
“Uncle Benny, are you hiding something from us?” Ruby asked.
“Who’s Julie and Allan’s mother?” Cecilia asked. “Why is she hiding in the closet?” “Nic, open the door!” declared Cecilia.
“Me? Why me?” Nicholas asked.
“Edison go!” Ruby said.
“Honey!” he whined.
“If you guys are too chicken, I’ll do it!” announced Teresa rolling up her sleeves. She stuck her hand in and managed to pull out Julie.
“Who’s in there?” Teresa asked.
“My mommy,” answered Julie. “Mommy says that she is really scary looking and might make you all faint if you see her,” Julie said.
“Who’s your mommy?” Vicki asked.
“My mommy is my mommy, she owns a fashion boutique back home,” answered Julie.
“Whoever’s in there come out on your own or we’ll drag you out,” Ruby threatened. She waited a few seconds. “Teresa…” she said telling Teresa to go.
“Girls…” Benny said in a warning tone.
“I’m not coming out!” Annie said disguising her voice. “I have a horrible disease, leave me alone!”
Ruby, Teresa and Vicki all looked at each other and nodded.
Ruby grabbed the shoe and started dragging the person out. “She’s heavy!” announced Ruby.
Vicki and Teresa helped, and eventually they pulled the person out.
Annie hid in a ball, hiding her face.
“Stop bullying my mommy!” announced Julie. “Me and Allan will sock you all in the nose.”
“Miniture version?” Louis said looking at Dicky.
“Most definitely, no one can possibly by as stubborn and hard headed as her, unless its her daughter,” replied Dicky.
“I’m not here, go away,” Annie announced still disguising her voice.
“Sister-in-law!” announced Cecilia crouching down. “Is that you?”
Annie finally looked up at Cecilia, but didn’t say anything.
“ANNIE!” Ruby, Teresa, Vicki and Cecilia exclaimed as they jumped on her, Julie was just caught in the middle.
”Grandpa! Allan! Someone help me! These adults are crushing me and mommy!” yelled Julie.
Everyone, adults and kids ran to see what the commotion was all about.
“Kelly, why is your mommy, Jack’s mommy, Josh’s mommy, and Aunty Teresa jumping that girl and lady?”
“Mommy? Jules?” Allan said. He pulled on Frankie’s pant leg, “Why are those aunties jumping mommy and Julie?”
“AHHH! Something bit me!” exclaimed Cecilia.
Everyone looked at Julie.
“It wasn’t me,” she replied, “How can I even bite her, she’s like somewhere on top of the person on top of me,” she groaned.
“Sorry CC, my bad,” Vicki apologized.
“Mommy...” Julie called.
“What is it sweetie?” Annie mumbled from underneath.
“Someone’s elbowing my ribs,” she cried.
“V! Rubes! Teresa! CC! Please get off of me, or at least get off of my daughter she’s going to die soon!” announced Annie.
“I’d get off…but someone’s sitting on my head…” whimpered Teresa.
One by one each person got off of each other.
“Mommy…everything hurts…” whined Julie.
Annie looked at Julie and smiled, she brushed her hair back, behind her ears, “That’s mommy’s big girl. Is anything broken?” Annie asked.
Julie smiled and shook her head. She looked at Allan, “Why didn’t you save me! What kind of boy are you? You leave your mommy and sister to die! You’re useless!”
“Julie! Allan’s your brother, don’t be so arrogant!” Annie scolded.
Allan ran to his mother’s side, “You okay mommy? Anything broken?”
“Course not sweetie,” answered Annie.
“Mommy, why were you hiding in the closet?” Julie asked.
“I…umm…” Annie looked at her father.
“Alright, kids, every single one of you kids have to go to the park with me,” answered Benny.
Annie smiled, “Why don’t we all head to the park,” she suggested.
Everyone nodded.
Annie left hold Allan and Julie’s hands and walking. The park was walking distance.
“Mommy, I want one scoop chocolate mint, another scoop bubble gum, and another scoop of vanilla caramel ice cream,” said Allan, holding on to his mommy’s hand.
“Wow, you think you can finish that much?” Annie asked.
Allan nodded.
“How about you, sweetie?” Annie asked Julie.
“A hot fudge sundae!” exclaimed Julie.
“That sounds good, you mind sharing with mommy?” asked Annie.
“Maybe…” answered Julie and Allan.
“Maybe…huh?” asked Annie. “You want mommy to tickle attack you?”
They both shook their heads, and smiled sweetly.
“Annie, hasn’t said a word to us yet,” Vicki whispered.
“Actually she did, remember she told us to get off of her,” answered Ruby.
“Look at Allan, doesn’t he remind you of Julian?” Cecilia asked.
Annie stopped walking, she slightly glanced back. “Julie, Allan you two go play on the playground let mommy talk to all these nice aunty and uncles. Okay?”
They nodded.
“Don’t run off too far,” she reminded.
The other kids ran off to the playground, to join Julie and Allan.
The adults sat under a tree, putting together three picnic tables.
They sat quietly, staring at Annie, while she never took her eyes off her children. “I know what you’re thinking,” said Annie. “Yes Julie and Allan are my kids. They’re seven years old. Who’s the father? You all know at heart, Julie’s exactly like him, while Allan looks like him. I’ve been staying in Australia. I have my own Fashion boutique. Life was good…”
“Was?” Frankie asked.
“Like I told you in the email…he did it again,” said Annie, looking at Frankie. “And I wasn’t thinking, and nodded, but when I told him the truth he got angry and we got into this huge fight. That’s when I saw his real face,” Annie announced. “I don’t know how this could’ve happened. He took advantage of me, deceived me…” she had tears in her eyes.
“HE…” exclaimed Frankie.
“It happened two years ago, I was drunk,” answered Annie. “I was thinking of Julian all night, when Kevin came to take me home, I don’t know what caused him to do it but he…”
“He didn’t…” said Vicki unbelievably.
“He did,” answered Annie, “That was the only thing that happened between us, things were different after that, but we were still friends. He not only took advantage of me but took me to some chapel and got us married, he recorded everything, that nasty perverted bastard…”Annie stopped talking. She started messaging her temple.
“Annie you need to relax,” Benny said. “She was back a few nights ago, to meet with her landlady, when she ran into Julian again.”
“So my brother was telling the truth?” asked Cecilia.
Annie nodded.
“You still love him, right?”
Annie looked away. To find her kids.
“Is there any way Annie can get an annulment, divorce, get her out of this marriage thing?” Frankie asked Kenix.
“She can file for a divorce, even if Kevin doesn’t sign it, it’d become valid after three years whether he likes it or not,” answered Kenix.
“Three years? Does that mean you and Julian can’t…”
Annie was listening to them, but a majority of her attention was on the kids, “Daddy, did you see Julie?” Annie asked.
Benny turned around, “Allan’s right there,” he said. “But Julie…”
“You know her, she loves running off to who knows where,” answered Frankie.
“You guys sit here, I’ll look for her, I’ll be right back,” announced Annie.
“You want us to help?” Ruby asked.
Annie shook her head. “I’ll be right back.” She got up to look for Julie. She went up to Allan, “Sweetie where’s Julie?” Annie asked.
Allan shrugged, “She said she wanted to explore.”
“She went alone?” Annie asked.
Allan nodded. “I was going to go with her but she yelled at me.”
Annie patted his head, “Stay here and be good,” Annie told him, she continued to look for Julie.
Annie was waking around looking for Julie. When she bumped into someone.
“Annie…” he said.
“I have nothing to say to you,” announced Annie. “Out of my way I need to find my daughter.”
“Annie, I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me, I wasn’t thinking, I didn’t mean to…” he began.
“Kevin just leave me alone, I’m looking for Julie!” answered Annie.
“She’s a big girl don’t worry,” replied Kevin. “Listen about our marriage…”
Annie glared at him.
He held up an envelope of papers, “Annulment papers,” he said.
Annie stared at him.
“I’m serious, no joke,” answered Kevin. “Can we talk in privacy? The Orphanage is right there. No one’s there so we can talk things through, make it right again. I want to be your buddy again. I’m sorry, I really am. Julie she’s a smart girl, she’s probably just around,” said Kevin. “Let’s just get this over with.”
Annie looked at the envelope and nodded, “But don’t try anything,” she warned.
“I swear on my baby doll,” he said smiling at her.
Annie and Kevin headed towards the orphanage.
Julie was just walking around, she was bored. She wandered far from the park, and was probably two or three blocks away, she was standing in front of a toy store, staring at all the toys.
A man in rags, came up to her and picked her up, “You must be worth something.” he snickered.
“Put me down you bum, or my mommy will kill you!” exclaimed Julie.
“Little girls shouldn’t run away from their mommies, don’t worry, I’ll take you back for a price…” he grinned.
“Let me down, you’re ugly and smell!” shrieked Julie. She only remembered shrieking, next thing she knew someone else was holding her, trying to calm her down. Julie looked at the man, and stopped yelling. He looked somewhat familiar.
“Don’t cry, the big meanie’s gone,” he said. “What’s a little girl doing here all by herself?” he asked. “Where’s your mother and father?”
Julie looked at him, “You’re the ice cream man,” Julie said. Remembering that picture she found a few years ago.
He looked at her strangely, “Sorry to burst your bubble kid, but I ain’t no ice cream man,” he said. “Julian Cheung, pleasure to meet such a lovely lady,” he said still holding her, he held up his hand to hers.
“Julie Man,” replied Julie shaking his hand and smiling. “You’re name sounds like mine!”
Julian looked at her, she reminded him so much of Annie. “So where’s your parents?”
“My mommy’s talking to grandpa and the other aunty and uncles at the park,” replied Julie.
“I’ll take you there,” Julian said, heading off to the direction of the park.
They passed an ice cream truck. Julie was staring at the truck.
Julian noticed, “You want ice cream?” Julian offered.
Julie nodded.
“What’s your favorite?” he asked.
“HOT FUDGE SUNDAES!” exclaimed Julie.
“Mine, too,” answered Julian.
“Really?” Julie asked. “That’s my mommy’s favorite.”
“Ya?” asked Julian. “Why don’t we get her one too?”
“And Allan?” Julie asked.
“Who’s Allan, your imaginary friend?” asked Julian.
Julie shook his head, “Allan’s my twin brother.”
Julian nodded, “Can I get four hot fudge sundaes?” Julian asked. He bought four sundaes.
He held Julie’s hand and carried the sundaes back to the park.

They sat in the living room, Kevin was just going through the papers with Annie.
Annie looked through the sheets.
Kevin sat extremely close to her, out of no where he placed his arm around her and pointed to the paper, “Sign there,” he said.
Annie’s body stiffened, once she felt his arm around her. She casually brushed it off.
“What’s wrong?” Kevin asked.
Annie shook her head.
“You never had a problem with me putting my arm around your shoulder before,” he declared.
“Kevin, I just can’t have you or anyone touching me right now,” Annie tried to say politely. “Especially after what happened that night.”
“Haven’t you forgiven me yet?” Kevin asked. “I said I was sorry! After you left last night, I really started rethinking everything I’ve done. I’m sorry, I really am. I’d do anything to get you to forgive me, that’s why I brought you the papers if you weren’t angry at me, I’d never give this marriage up. I’d do everything for you,” Kevin said.
Annie finished signing the papers, she looked at him, “Kevin, it’s your turn.”
Kevin signed the papers. “Are you willing to give me another chance?” Kevin asked.
Annie shook her head, “I know I should’ve made it clear earlier, I really thought I could fall for you, but you’re just like Tae, Louis and Dicky, you’re my brother, I just can’t think of you in any romantic way,” explained Annie. “I’m sorry if I led you on all these years.” Annie looked at Kevin, he had that look in his eyes again. “Kevin…don’t flip like last time, or I’ll hurt you much more,” she warned trying to lighten the mood.
Kevin wasn’t in the mood to kid around, “So after seven years, this is how you repay me? After all I’ve done? So its so long sucker now?”
“I never said that, I can still see you as one of my best friends,” said Annie.
Kevin placed his arm around Annie, he smiled, “And you’re still my baby doll,” he tried to kiss her cheek.
“Kevin let go,” Annie said pushing him away from her.
Kevin trapped her, made sure she couldn’t move, “Just a little kiss,” he said.
“KEVIN!” exclaimed Annie. “STOP IT! I MEAN IT!” She tried to struggle.

Julian and Julie made it to the park.
“There’s my Grandpa!” exclaimed Julie running towards Benny. “EY! GRANDPA! ALLAN! LOOK THAT GUY GOT ME ICE CREAM!” she yelled.
“There you are!” said Frankie picking her up. “You’re mom went everywhere looking for you.”
“Where’s mommy?” asked Julie.
“She went looking for you,” Benny said.
“Uncle Benny!” Julian called.
Everyone turned back to look at Julian.
“Jules!” Cecilia exclaimed.
They didn’t know what to say to him.
“Grandpa, Uncle Frankie, that nice man bought me, Allan, and mommy ice cream,” said Julie. “Grandpa, remember, remember, that one time I found that picture?” Julie asked. “It’s him! It’s him! He’s the ice cream man!”
“Sshh….” Benny said trying to calm her down.
“It’s true!” she exclaimed. “ALLAN!” she called. “ALLAN COME HERE I GOT YOU ICE CREAM!”
Allan came running. “Yes?”
Julie handed him the ice cream.
“Mommy went looking for you,” said Allan. He looked at Julian, and smiled. He had Julian’s dimples. He looked just like him.
He looked around at all his friends.
“Who’s kids are these?” Julian asked.
“Their Frankie’s third cousin’s ex-girlfriend’s sister’s kids,” answered Michelle.
Julian had a confused look on his face.
“Where’s mommy? Her ice cream’s going to melt,” said Julie.
Julian finally noticed something a silver necklace hanging off Julie’s neck. He went down on one knee, and looked at Julie. “Can I see this?” he asked.
Julie nodded.
Julian held the tiny heart shaped diamond necklace in his palm. This was the necklace he had given Annie on for their first Christmas. He had it specially made for her, it was one of a kind, “Where did you get this?” Julian asked.
“I gave it to her!” Frankie interrupted, popping in Julian’s face.
“Move, I was talking to Julie,” Julian said. “Julie tell me who gave you this?” he asked nicely.
“My mommy,” answered Julie.
“You’re mommy?” Julian repeated. “Who’s your mommy? What’s her name?”
“My mommy’s name is mommy,” answered Julie.
“Is her name Annie?” Julian asked.
“How did you know?” Julie asked.
“Where’s your mom?” Julian asked.
Julie shrugged, “I was with you,” answered Julie. “And everyone said mommy went to look for me.”
Julian stood up and looked around, “Annie,” he mumbled, he started running around the park calling her name.
“Hey! Where you going?” Julie asked, but Julian didn’t look back.
“Her cover’s blown,” sighed Ruby.
“Grandpa where did the ice cream man go?” asked Allan asked.
Ally ran up to Louis, “Daddy I need to pee!” she announced.
“Alright I’ll take you back to the orphanage to go,” said Louis.
“I’ll come, grab a few drinks too, “said Dicky.
Julian ran around but she wasn’t at the park, he saw a car parked at the Orphanage. He ran to the orphanage and knocked on the door, but no one opened the door, he looked through the window, and saw someone trying to harass Annie. He tried to open the door but couldn’t he could hear her scream and yell. He continued ramming into the door, until finally it opened.
Julian ran to Kevin pulled him off of Annie and started beating him. They were both wrestling. Both had equal strength.
Annie tried to stop them, but Kevin pushed her down causing her to bump her head against the wall, and passed out.
Kevin and Julian continued beating each other.
When Louis, Dicky and Ally came in. Louis carried Ally back outside, while Dicky pulled the two apart.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE THE TWO OF YOU FIGHTING ABOUT?” exclaimed Dicky. “You don’t even know who the other is!”
“That bastard was harassing Annie!” exclaimed Julian. He remembered about Annie. He ran to her side, and held her, “ANNIE! Annie! Wake up! Don’t scare me!” he said hugging her.
“Annie…” Kevin said running to herside.
Julian pushed him away.
Dicky grabbed Kevin by his shirt, “You did this to her?” he asked.
“Let go of me,” Kevin said.
“Look! You said you cared for her, look what you did to her!” Dicky exclaimed, pointing to Annie, who was laying in Julian’s arms.
Uncle Benny, Frankie, Julie and Allan came in.
“Uncle Kevin, what are you doing here?” Julie asked. “Mommy said you weren’t coming with us this vacation.”
Allan saw Annie on the floor, “Jules! Look! Its mom!” he exclaimed dragging his sister to their mother.
“MOMMY!” exclaimed Julie. “How’s my mommy?” she asked looking at Julian.
Julian just looked at Julie and Allan. He was still hugging Annie.
“Uncle Kevin what happened!” Julie practically yelled.
Kevin approached the table, he picked up the enveloped, he turned around to start walking away, he was going to exit, he handed Frankie the envelop, “Give this to her when she wakes up,” Kevin said.
“Sorry,” he mumbled. He left.
Annie began to stir, she felt someone hugging her. She opened her eyes, she recognized the hug, the secure feeling, the smell of his cologne. Annie hugged Julian tightly and sobbed on his shoulders.
“Annie, don’t cry, don’t be scared, he’s gone, I’m here now, I won’t let anyone hurt you,” Julian said. “I’m sorry. I should’ve been here earlier.”
Annie shook her head, “It’s not your fault,” she sobbed.
Julian continued hugging her just like he did a few nights ago, not letting go. “I thought I’d never see you again,” Julian said.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t want to leave again,” Annie answered.
“Then why did you?” Julian asked.
Annie pulled away, and looked at Julie and Allan, “Them,” she said. “I promised them I’d be home. A promise is a promise.”
“But you promised me too,” said Julian.
“Promises to our kids are more important,” replied Annie.
“Our?” Julian asked.
“Mommy!” Julie and Allan exclaimed jumping in between Annie and Julian, pushing Julian away.
“You know him?” Julie asked.
“You…where did you run off too?” Annie asked, pinching her cheeks.
“I went to the toys store,” answered Julie.
“Julie!” Annie said in a nagging tone. “I thought I told you don’t run off.”
“I’m okay now, ice cream man saved me,” said Julie pointing at Julian. “Remember your picture, the one you keep under your pillow at night, the one of ice cream man,” announced Julie.
“And he got us ice cream,” added Allan.
“Where’s mine?” asked Annie. “You said you’d share your ice cream with mommy.”
“Allan ate it,” said Julie.
Annie stared at Allan, “You ate my share?” she asked.
There was ice cream all over his mouth. Allan shook his head.
Annie and Julie exchanged glances, and pinned Allan down tickle attacking him.
“MOMMY! JULIE! STOP IT!” he laughed. “Grandpa! Uncle Frankie! ICE CREAM MAN SAVE ME!”
“Ey…two against one is not far,” announced Julian, pinning Julie down starting to tickle her.
“MOMMY!” exclaimed Julie. “ICE CREAM MAN IS ATTACKING ME!”
Uncle Benny, Frankie, Louis and Dicky left, leaving the family of four together.
After a while of laughing, Julie ended up tickling Allan, while Julian and Annie, sat back for a breather.
Annie watched Julie attack Allan. “Julie don’t torture your brother too much.”
Julian held Annie’s hand.
Annie looked at Julian. As before they knew it their lips touched, but only for a few seconds, before Annie pulled away.
“I love you,” announced Julian.
Annie nodded and looked away. “Okay, Julie, you can stop now,” answered Annie. “You’re going to kill your brother.”
Julie stopped attacking her brother.
“Let’s go find the others,” said Annie.
They went back to the park where the others were.
Frankie handed Annie the envelope. “Kevin gave me this before he left,” he said.
Annie looked at the papers, “At least he did something right,” she said.
“Annulment?” Julian asked looking at the papers. “You got married?”
“It’s a long story,” said Annie.
“Start from the beginning,” said Julian.
Annie looked at him.
“So you left me because you were…”
Annie nodded.
“And I pushed you that night,”
Annie nodded.
“Frankie rubbing your stomach that day,”
Annie nodded again.
“That’s why you wanted to get married?”
“I wanted to get married for real, but the pressure…” began Annie. “It’s funny I don’t even know which reason I even left for…”
Annie told retold the events once again.
“I’m going to kill him!” exclaimed Julian.
Annie held his arm.
Julian looked at her, “Marry me now,” Julian said. “Do it for the kids, for me, for you, for us, for our love…” he said. “Give me another chance.”
Annie looked at him and the kids.
“Hey…look Gigi, Kristy, and Ruby, Gigi looks peeved,” said Louis.
“They all looked peeved,” said Dicky.
“What did you guys do?” Annie asked.
“Nothing,” answered Louis and Edison.
“DICKY CHEUNG!” exclaimed Ruby slapping the back of his head.
“What did I do now?” Dicky asked. “Gi…what’s wrong?”
Kristy laid a magazine down. “Everyone one in HK knows that the actress Gigi Lai’s boyfriend is a cop named Dicky Cheung. They tail Gigi and you. What do you have to say for yourself?”
Dicky was on the front cover with Athena.
“Gigi Lai’s cop boyfriend’s affair…” Louis read aloud.
“Is that Athena?” Annie asked.
“Isn’t she locked up somewhere?” asked Cecilia.
“Gigi, look I can explain!” said Dicky.
“Is that where you were last night?” asked Gigi.
“Yes but I…”
Gigi slapped him.
Ruby fainted.
“RUBY!” exclaimed Edison.
They rushed her to the hospital.
Gigi wouldn’t look at Dicky.
Dicky confronted her, held her by the shoulders, “Gigi listen, there’s nothing between me and Athena, she just came out, she’s okay now. We had a deal…”
“What deal?” Gigi asked.
“That I’d be her boyfriend and she…”
Gigi slapped him.
His cell phone rang, “Hello?” he answered the phone still holding onto Gigi. “Ya, bring it to the hospital. See you in a few minutes, bye.” Dicky looked at Gigi. “Please, just hear me out okay? You’ll see what I’ve been doing in a few minutes.”
“She’s coming here?” asked Louis, “I don’t think that’s very wise dude,” Louis warned.
“Trust me,” said Dicky. “Its not what you guys think.”
Athena soon arrived.
“Good,” sighed Dicky. He approached her and pulled her over to Gigi.
Gigi watched enviously at him holding Athena’s hand.
“Please tell her what are deal was,” said Dicky.
Athena looked at Gigi, “I know you all hate me, and I’m really sorry that I hurt you guys so badly,” answered Athena. “And I’m sorry to you Gigi. Don’t hate Dicky, he’s a good guy, that’s why I still love him,” she said looking at Dicky.
“You’re killing me,” Dicky said.
“I called him out a few nights ago because I needed his help,” said Athena. “I needed him to be my boyfriend for just one night. All these years I’ve been lying to my dad, you guys remember him, Christmas, cottage,” she reminded. “He doesn’t know what actually happened to me, I didn’t want him to be disappointed in me. So I sent him letters full of lies, telling him I was still with Dicky. Last night he only helped me put up an act for my dad,” said Athena. “We pretended to be a couple and broke up.”
“I was only helping her,” said Dicky.
“And how did you help him?” Ada asked.
Athena pulled a box out of her purse. “I’ve always had a good eye for jewelry,” she pulled a box out of her purse. She handed it to Dicky. “Now, or she won’t forgive you,” Athena said.
“Thanks,” Dicky said.
“I owe you,” replied Athena. “It’s the least I could do.”
Dicky approached Gigi, he held her hand, got on one knee, “Marry me,” he requested.
Gigi looked at the ring, it was definitely beautiful, “You’re not tricking me are you?” she asked.
Dicky shook his head. “Yes or no? Yes and I’ll be the luckiest guy in the world.”
Gigi nodded and hugged him.
Athena smiled, “Congratulations.”
The doctor came out, “The patient wants to see you.”
Edison practically ran in.
Athena took this opportunity to leave.
“Doctor what’s wrong with her?” Kristy asked.
“Congratulations, Mrs. Chen is pregnant!” announced the doctor.
“Ha?” exclaimed Ruby.
“Yes!” exclaimed Edison, smiling cheekily.
“AGAIN?” everyone exclaimed.
“Way to go Edison, fourth kid,” laughed Jimmy.
“This is all your fault!” whined Ruby hitting Edison playfully.
Edison sat on the bed beside her, he held her hands still, and kissed her, “Four down one to go, you promised,” he teased.
Ruby kissed him back, and smiled.
