~Truly Yours~

Everyone was having a blast singing and talking. Louis couldn't keep his eyes off Ada. She was the only other woman he was truly seemingly interested in, besides Kristy. She affected his life drastically. The times he spent with her were some of the best times in his life, when he was with her, he never thought, even for a second, about Kristy. Her appearance, free spirit and sweet personality attracted him the most. He thought about when he first met her.

~Flashback~

+one and half year ago, Louis went to Las Vegas for a business trip, which was suppose to last only three weeks, but ended up lasting almost three months+

"The plane will be landing in ten minutes, please buckle your seat belts," announced the pilot.

Louis buckled his seat belt and awaited the plane's landing. "Another long and boring business trip. Why can't the company send me to Taiwan, maybe I could've have seen Kristy again! MAybe I could've told her my feelings, and how much I love her," he sighed. "AHH!" he yelled at himself. "Why can't you forget her? You've spent only two weeks with her years ago, why can't you forget her now? Why do you have to compare all other woman to Kristy? You were too chicken to tell her your true feelings when you had the chance, you lost your chance! Stop grieving over the past! And move on, damnmit!" he kept telling himself as he exited the airport. He walked aimlessly onto the streets. He wasn't looking where he was going. Someone bumped into him. "Oof! Sorry," he mumbled and continued walking.

"Sir, you dropped your wallet," she called, but Lois nver replied, he kept walking. The young lady opened the wallet and found three thousand dollars. "Hmm...no id, maybe...just maybe, it's a sign from heaven, giving me another chance to pay of my debts," she thought. "But it's not right to take this money," she debated. "But you owe me!" she argued, "You took away the love of my life," she scolded the sky.

The girl took the money and paid off her two thousand dollars to the loan sharks. She had a thousand left over, to buy a ticket back to Hong Kong. She took the thousand dollars, back to her hotel to gather her things, but was stopped mid-way by some people she met who offered her a drink. She didn't want to hurt their feelings, so agreed. They thendragged her into a casino, where she watched others gamble. Her so-called friends, some how convinced her to gamble a bit, at first she betted small, and won, after an hour or two, it became more aggressive, she began betting more, and losing more. Eventually she lost more than fifteen thousand dollars. She was now, worse off than before. She had three days to pay the debt. The same people who dragged her into this mess had run away the second she lost all her money, and began, borrowing money. She had no choice but to work at their night club.

Over the next couple days, Louis was working with the big boss, of the company he was supposeibly doing business with. When the deal was sealed, on his fifth night in Vegas, his partners dragged him out to a night club casino. They kept making him drink, more and more alchol. He was completely drunk. The last thing he remembered was puking in a corner, and some girl helping him. After that he completely forgot everything that happened.

The next morning, he awoke on a big bed in a hotel room. He noticed he wasn't wearing any clothes, but no one was n sight, he was all alone. His head was aching, "What a hang over," he announced.

When his senses finally kicked in he heard the sound of running water, but after about 3 minutes, the water stopped. He studied the door awaiting the person to come out.

After five minutes the door opened. A fairly tall, beautiful figured girl stepped out. "You're up," she said.

"Ya, do I know you? What happened last night?" he asked.

"Don't you remember what happened last night? You should, after all we've done," she replied.

"So you're saying, you and I, we...we..." he said.

She nodded. "Come on Matt, don't pretend you can't remember," she announced.

"Matt?" he asked.

"Ya that's what your name is silly," she replied.

"I told you my name was Matt?" asked Louis.

"Ya, you really must be tired from last night, if you can't even remember your own name," she laughed.

"And what might your name be?" he asked.

"I'm...Ad....Lisa," she replied. "Lisa Choi."

"Nice name, it suits you," declared Louis.

"Yours doesn't you don't look like a Matt," she laughed.

"How much do I owe you?" he asked, walking towards his pants that were thrown over the lamp, to get his wallet.

"What do I look like to you? A hooker?" asked the girl named Lisa.

"Aren't you a night club girl?" he asked.

"Do I look like one?" exclaimed Lisa.

"Umm no?" replied Louis.

"Then?" she asked.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not looking for any serious relationships right now," announced Louis.

"Don't worry neither am I," replied Lisa. "My heart already belongs to someone else, I don't think anyone can replace him. Not even a hot guy with adorable dimples like yourself," she laughed.

"Alright then," said Louis.

The Lisa girl grabbed her things and headed owards the door.

"Where are you going?" asked Louis.

"Well, what we just had was A one Night Stand, I'm suppose to leave now," answered Lisa.

"Will I ever see you again?" he asked.

"It's up to fate," replied Lisa, leaving the hotel room.

Louis stared at the door for awhile. He slapped the back of his head, "Louis, Louis, Louis, you sure had some time last night didn't you?" he said talking to himself. "You don't meet a girl like that every day. Damn, she was hot! And those legs, WOW!" he thought.

The girl left the hotel. "Ada, what have you done? Do you just realized you just had a one night stand with a complete stranger? Did he even use protection? How can you forget Steven just like that?" she scolded herself. "Lisa? How does that name match me?" she asked herslef. Ada looked in her purse and found a signed blank cheque. An idea poped into her mind. If she fills in the cheque and cashes it in then she'll be able to pay off her debt and go back home.

Ada made the amount of the cheque to sixteen thousand dollars. She took it to the bank and cashed it in. She was really nervous. Luckily the cheque was approved and she got the money. She was about to leave the bank when she bumped into that Matt guy again.

"Hey, didn't think I'd ever see you again," declared Louis.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Oh, just checking out my account balance and stuff," replied Louis. That moment his bank book was printed out. He took one look at it and nearly fainted.

Ada caught him, before he fell to the ground. "What's wrong?" she asked.

"I'm sixteen thousand dollars short, I can't get back home!" he exclaimed. "All I have is $24.76, left in my account! I've been coned!"

"Oh, that's too bad," replied Ada. "I need to go, right now, ummm, see you around," she said running towards the exit.

Louis grabbed her hand, "Wait! Lisa, you got to help me out! Lend me some money so I can go back to Hong Kong, I promise I'll pay you back," he begged.

"I'm sorry, I can't help, I'm broke," lied Ada.

Louis held her hand tightly. While stuggling she dropped her purse. Louis picked it up and looked inside. "If you're broke why do you have so much money?" asked Louis.

Ada grabbed her purse and ran out the door.

Louis ran after her.

Ada ran into a dead end, and the loan sharks. Ada felt really guilty for taking Matt's (Louis) money. She didn't have the heart to give them the money.

"Hey babe you going to pay us back now?" asked a man in a black.

"Give me a few more days, I'll pay you back, I swear," she announced.

"That wouldn't be a problem...if you'd spend a night with each of us," said another man, pointing to his four friends.

"No, I can't!" said Ada. "Give me a few more days then I'll pay you back."

"What if you run?" announced the guy who seemed to be incharged.

"I won't I promise," replied Ada.

"You can take as long as you want, as long as for every extra day you get, you spend the night with me, then I'm sure it'll work out," suggested the man, moving in closer and closer to them.

Louis who had been listening in on their conversation. The moment the guy touched Ada, Louis yelled, "Don't touch her!"

"Who are you suppose to be? Her boyfriend?" asked the guy.

"In the matter of fact I am," lied Louis.

"Well then, you either pay her debt and the both of yous can scram, or you can tell your girlfriend here to sleep with each of us, while we beat the crap out of you," answered the man.

Louis glared at them, "Honey, give them the bag," said Louis.

"What?" asked Ada.

"You heard me give them the bag," he repeated.

Ada gave the guys the money. They all laughed and accepted the money with open arms.

"Hope we do more business in the future," laughed the leader, as he led his followers out of the alley.

Before they left one of the guys punched Louis' face, giving him a black eye. Another guy punched his stomach. "That's for ruining our fun, for tonight. Watch your back!" he warned.

Ada ran over to Louis' side to see if he was okay. "I'm sorry," she cried.

"No biggie," replied Louis, who was in pain. "Help me back to the hotel?" he asked.

Ada took him back to the hotel, and told him her problem. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have stole from you," she apologized.

"I would have done the same," laughed Louis.

"You would?" asked Ada.

"Sure Lisa, if that was my only ticket out of here, then I would definitely do it," replied Louis.

"Thanks Mark," answered Ada, graciously. "If there's anything I could do, then just tell me."

"Well, I'm in real pain right now, do you know how to stop it?" asked Louis.

"Take off your shirt," intrusted Ada.

"Are you trying to take advanage of me?" he asked crossing his arms.

"No, I'm going to rub some rubbing oil on your wound to make the wound go away," explained Ada.

"How about my handsome face? This black eye isn't that attractive you know?" he laughed.

"I know how to take care of that, just wait, a few minutes," she said. Ada went to boil some eggs. When they were done, she took one and wrapped it in a towel. She brought it out to the living room and placed it on the table. She quietly rubbed the oil on his nice, firm and srong chest. After twenty minutes of rubbing, she stopped. "There, I'm done that part, now for that eye of yours," she said, picking up the hard boiled egg.

"What are you going to do?" he asked in fear.

"Sit still!" she instructed as she gently started dubbing the egg on his eye.

Louis was screaming and moaning in pain.

"Quit your screaming!" laughed Ada. "It's not helping. Be a man."

Something came over Louis, it might have been the strong smell of the oil, or the hard knock in the face, or even the situaiton they were in. He suddenly grabbed Lisa's (Ada) arm and stood up, looking down on her beautiful face. He then kissed her hungrily. She replied.

For the next two months, Louis stayed in Las Vegas with Ada. They both worked part time jobs, waiting tables and washing dishes at some local resturant to earn some money to buy tickets back to Hong Kong. Their relationship was really good. They could talk freely to each other, and they felt comfortable around the other person. Both had other people in their hearts, but being with each other temporaily made them forget about their heart's desire. But after their lust each would sit quietly and think, feeling guilty about lying, to the other, and thinking about their loved ones. Which made the feel even worst. They both saw each other as a replacement for what they can't have, or what can never be.

Somehow, Julian got hold of the company in Las Vegas, who found Louis and loaned him some money for his trip back to Hong Kong. Louis was thrilled, but he felt guilty, what about Lisa (Ada). He didn't want to use her as a replacement anymore. She was a sweet girl, fairly similar to Kristy, that's probably why he was attracted to her in the first place, but she wasn't Kristy. No matter how he looked at her, she wasn't Kristy. In his heart Kristy was still perfect. He decided to leave without tellig her, but provided a note and plane tickets back to Hong Kong for her. He left witout saying good bye.

Ada was hurt when she read Louis' letter, but she knew it was for the best. Matt (Louis) was only a replacement for Steven. But she truly had some strong feelings for him. He was special, she was never going to be able to forget him. She was greatful for all he's done for her, but was was unsure if it was just love or lust. Losing Matt (Louis) was a very painful, but it was differnet from the pain she went throungh when she lost Steven, the love of her life.

When Louis returned to Hong Kong, he put aside his secret relatioship wih Ada aside and concentrated on his business. There are still times he thought of her, but not in a romantic way.

Ada continued her studies at the university, to become a doctor.

~End Flashback~

Louis thought about all the things he's done with Ada, she is certainly one of a kind, but these feelings are far from the love he has for Kristy. He hopes that Ada doesn't still have feelings for him. Her appearance tonight made it difficult for him to bond with Kristy, and post-ponned his actions and plans of telling Kristy the truth, about his true feelings.

He looked over to Ada who was talking with Jessica and Kenix. She caught him looking at her, so called him over to them.

"What do you want now Lisa?" he asked.

Ada handed him a cheque for sixteen thousand three hundred dollars.

Louis just looked at her confused.

"I owed you," she replied.

"You didn't have to pay me back so soon," answered Louis.

"You helped me through the toughest time in my life and I'm very grateful. I feel bad for stealling your money, I promised to pay you back, so here it is," she announced.

"No problem, anytime," he said.

Ada hugged him and gave him a friendly peck on the cheek. "Thank you, Matt," she said.

"Anytime, Lisa," he answered, kissing her cheek back. Louis looked around the room and caught Kristy looking at him and Ada, wih hurt and pain in her eyes, but she tried to hide it with a fake smile.

Louis smiled back at her weakily. Everything about her made him feel all happy and tingly inside. Her expression hurt him more than anything. Somehow he has to clear this up with her, and find a way to tell her that he loves her.
