For the next few weeks everyone saw less and less of Ruby. She had been spending a lot of time with Wonbin. She was obsessed with him, and vice versa. They loved talking together and spend as much time together as possible. It's like that in the beginning of most relationships.
Ruby always got jealous because she caught a lot of girls flirting with Wonbin, he would always tell her that she's the only girl for him. Wonbin would always do the sweetest things for Ruby, like get her flowers and compliment her. Ruby then got use to the fact that Wonbin attracted many girls, she knew that he wouldn't do anything to hurt her. Ruby, she was a flirt herself. She had just recently found out that many guys adored her, and wanted to be her friend. Ruby thought, "What the heck? Wonbin always talk to other girls why can't she talk to other guys?" So Ruby began flirting with other guys too! She still had a great time with Wonbin whenever they went out. She enjoyed being with him, but something didn't feel right.
One night Ruby couldn't sleep because of this very reason. "Aren't relationships suppose to be exclusive?" she thought. "Isn't a boyfriend suppose to be jealous when he sees his girlfriend talking with other guys? Why didn't he ever get jealous?" she asked. "Then why don't I care when Wonbin's with flirting with other girls?" These questions kept her up all night.
~After School The Next Day~
"Wonbin, I think we need to talk," said Ruby.
"Alright, I think we do too!" he replied.
"I…" they both said at the same time.
"You go first," insisted Ruby.
"Ruby, you're a great girl and everything but, I don't think I like you anymore!" said Wonbin quickly. Ruby just had a shocked expression on her face. "I don't men that I don't like you, because I really do, but just as a friend, I just don't like you, like you!" he explained. Ruby's facial expression began to change. "I'm really sorry Ruby, I never meant to hurt you! Please don't hurt me!" he begged.
Ruby began laughing, "Hurt you? Why would I do that! I just wanted to tell you that I don't like you, like you anymore, but you bet me to it. I was afraid of hurting your feelings because I think of you as a close friend, almost like a brother." replied Ruby. "I agree at first I did have feelings for you because I was attracted to your good looks, but now it doesn't feel right, you know?" she asked.
"Ya, I was attracted to your open personality and your beautiful face, but once I got to know you, I just saw you as my good friend!" answered Wonbin.
"So we're still friends?" asked Ruby.
"Always," he answered with his adorable smile.
"Hey, did you tell anyone that you don't like me anymore?" asked Ruby.
"No, why?" asked Wonbin.
"I have a great idea!" exclaimed Ruby. She told him her plan.
"GREAT IDEA!" he laughed.

~At the Park, at that very moment~
"Jesse, listen to me, I'm telling the truth, recently I've been having weird feelings for you!" exclaimed Louis as he held her hand stopping her from leaving.
"Louis quit fooling around this isn't funny!" demanded Jessica.
"I'm not fooling around!" shouted Louis. "I'm serious! "I can tell you feel the same way too! Why have you been avoiding me? It feel sad and depressed when you're not around, please give me a chance," begged Louis.
"Louis, you're one of my best friends, I don't want to lose you as a friend, so please don't be like this," exclaimed Jessica, she pulled her arms from his and walked away.
Louis sat at the park alone recalling the first time he felt this way for Jessica.
~Flash Back~ (a month ago)
Benny said, "Louis go pick Jesse up from the library, it's getting dark I don't want her walking by herself."
"Whatever," answered Louis.
At the library, Jessica was working on a history project with her partner, Adam.
"Umm Jesse?" asked Adam.
"Yes?" replied Jessica.
"Well…umm I…really like you, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked.
Jessica was always nice to everyone, she didn't want to hurt his feelings, and she then noticed Louis. "Sorry Adam, I already have a boyfriend, look there he is!" said Jessica nicely as she pointed to Louis. She ran up to him and hugged him.
Louis was surprised by her actions. "What?" he asked confused.
"Just play along!" she ordered.
Adam left with a broken heart.
Jessica felt really bad, she really didn't want to hurt his feelings but she didn't feel the same way. "This was the only way to resolve this," she thought.
"What was that?" Louis asked.
"Louis can you do me a big favor?" asked Jessica.
"What?" he asked suspiciously.
"Pretend to be my boyfriend until Adam doesn't like me anymore," begged Jessica who was practically begging.
Something inside of him told him to agree. Louis just nodded.
"Thank you!" said Jessica jumping up and hugging him.
Louis felt something that he's never felt before inside him. The more time he spent with her the more feelings he had for her. He liked hanging out with Jessica, he couldn't imagine his life without her.
~End of Flash Back~
Louis sat in the park alone thinking and sorting out his feelings does he really like Jesse? or was it that he got to into his role as Jessica's boyfriend. All he knows is that he had to protect her.

~The Next Day~
"I DON'T WANT TO BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND ANYMORE YOU PLAYER!" shouted Ruby.
"ME A PLAYER?" yelled Wonbin. "WHAT ABOUT YOU? YOU FLIRT WITH EVERY GUY IN THIS SCHOOL!"
"I HATE YOU!" shouted Ruby.
"THEN LET'S BREAK UP!" retorted Wonbin.
"FINE!" Ruby broke down crying.
Teresa, Jessica and Annie witnessed the entire thing, they rushed over to see their friend.
"Oh Ruby don't cry!" urged Annie.
"He's not worth it!" comforted Jessica.
"How can you do that to her?" Annie asked Wonbin, with hate in her eyes.
"I thought you were nice!" shouted Jessica.
"I'M GOING TO BET THE SHIT OUT OF YOU!" warned Teresa.
Ruby began giggling.
"Huh?" asked Annie.
"Ruby why are you giggling at a time like this?" asked Teresa.
"Oh no I think she took the break up to hard and went crazy!" declared Jessica.
Ruby began laughing louder. "It was all an act, we tricked you guys!" Ruby explained.
"So you two didn't break up?" asked Teresa.
The two nodded their heads.
"When? Why?" asked Jessica.
"Because there wasn't any chemistry!" declared Ruby.
"What do you mean? You two look great together, and get along what's wrong with that?" asked Annie.
"We just see each other as friends," explained Wonbin. "We were only physically attracted to each other, we've discovered that we're better off as friends!"
"What a shame," said Teresa, "You two were so cute together!"
"We're still best friends!" winked Ruby.

During the next couple of days, Jessica avoided Louis.
"JESSE! Hey Jesse wait up!" yelled Louis trying to catch up with Jessica.
"What?" asked Jessica.
"Why have you been avoiding me?" he asked.
"I've been avoiding you?" she asked.
"Ya," he answered.
"Oh then sorry," she replied, as she began walking off again.
"Jesse let me say something!" yelled Louis.
"I'm not stopping you!" shouted Jessica.
"I'm sorry," he answered.
"SORRY?" asked Jessica. "For what?"
"You were right, I didn't know what I was saying the other day, I guess I just got into my role to much!" answered Louis.
"You what?" asked Jessica. "So you don't like, like me?" she asked.
"I don't think so, I know I want to protect you, but hey that's what family's for!" Louis announced.
"Family?" she asked.
"Ya," answered Louis. "Well I got to go now!" he replied as he ran off.
"Bye…" said Jessica. She felt as if a thousand tons have been lifted off her shoulders, but at the same time she felt uneasy.

~With Louis~
"Okay Louis you did the right thing, now Jesse won't feel so uncomfortable around you! Forget that you ever had feelings for her, it was just brotherly love!" Louis told himself.
As time passed by Louis learned to treat Jessica as a little sister, he had almost forgotten that he ever had feelings for her. He continued being the same old Louis. Jessica stayed the same. It's just that sometimes she would get an uneasy feeling when she was with Louis alone, she was afraid that he still liked her. She didn't want to lose him, as a brother.
