Chapter 24

~Action~: ~*The date!*~--edited

During the weekend
XY was dragging the Nikkie down the street because she is late for the date with Ximen, but Nikkie has no idea.
Nikkie: hey slow down, stop dragging me. I thought we’re suppose to be shopping, if we walk so fast, how am I suppose to admire the clothes?
XY: ai ya there’s this shop that has a big sales mah, if we’re late all the clothes will be gone.
They finally cross the street and pass a crowd of people. Xy was looking for Ximen and didn’t know where she was going when suddenly...
XY: ouch! (and she fell on to the ground because she bumped into someone.)
Ximen: I’m sorry miss… (and then he realize it was XY) OMG Xy are you okay?
XY: I’m fine.
Nikkie finally got through the crowd of people when she saw Ximen pulling XY off the ground and beside Xy, Meizou was checking girls walking down the street.
Nikkie POV: that playboy MZ is checking out girls again. Some people just never change…
XY: wow what a coincidence! me and Nikki are just walking around, shopping for clothes.
With the mention of Nikki’s name MZ turned around and flashed her a big smile.
Ximen: oh! can we join you guys? Since we’re not doing anything special.
XY: of course (but Nikki was tugging on XY arms, when she agreed because she didn’t want them to join.)
Ximen grabbed XY hand and started walkng down the street. Nikkie walked beside XY cuz she wanted to stay away from MZ and so MZ walked beside Ximen. Meanwhile the guys and girls were having separate conversations, because MZ and Nikkie, didn’t want to talk to each other.
Ximen and Xy kept exchanging glances; their plan wasn’t working and they didn’t get any quality time alone. So finally after passing off various eye signals, they came up with a plan. They looked at each other and nodded. XY grabbed Nikkie’s hand and Ximen grabbed MZ’s hand, pulled those two together, and made them hold hands.
Nikkie and Meizou quickly broke apart. They stopped and glared at XY and Ximen.
Ximen: eh…(feeling the awkwardness of the situation since their plan failed, yet again)
XY: hey why don’t we do something fun!? (Trying to change the subject)
Ximen: yea... let’s go to the amusement park, I heard that the rides are great!
Nikki: why? I wanna go buy clothes!
But Ximen and Xy didn’t let her continue, they just dragged her down the street to the amusement park.
Meanwhile at the mall
Mayomi was wandering in the mall looking for the 2 couples.
Mayomi POV:
‘hmmm” where are they? Can’t find them. I can’t let this plan work, I can’ let my bro be with that playgirl and get hurt. Plus she’s not even pretty and she’s not good enough for him. Anyways I don’t see what MZ sees in her!. Sh*t I can’t see them anywhere, I thought their date was at the mall. Hai…
and with that Mayomi continued on her search.

At the amusement park…
The 2 couples arrived at the amusement park. They walked around, ate cotton candy, and went on roller coasters. But MZ and Nikkie still didn’t progress very well.
That night…
Xy: Oh it’s the Ferris wheel, I wanna go on! (she jumped up and down)
So they lined up for the Ferris wheel ride.

Xy and Ximen got in one car which left MZ and Nikkie in the other one… the ride started.
The Ferris wheel went around twice, when suddenly it stopped. Nikkie and MZ was at the top.
Announcer: Please remained be seated. Do not attempt to open the door or move around. We are temporality experiencing some technical difficulties. We will try to solve the problem as soon as possible.
Nikkie: What do you technical difficulty? Just crank it up and move the thing!
MZ: hai calm down…
Nikkie: How can I calm down? I’m stuck up here in this thing, like 10 thousand feet above the ground!!
MZ: what do you mean 10 thousand feet above the ground? (a little confused)
Nikkie: I dunno, it’s so high …
Then other riders below, started rocking the ferris wheel for fun.
Nkkie was getting paranoid, because she was so skinny, she thought she was gonna slip through the bars.
Nikkie: ahhhh!! Get me off this thing! Lemme out!!!
MZ: what’s wrong, ????
Nikkie: err. So..so..so high.. me.. Afraid of.. heights…and it’s so cold here.
MZ: then why didn’t you say anything before?
Nikkie: because I didn’t want to admit I was afraid of anything (she whispered) Plus I thought it was gonna be a short ride.
MZ took his jacket off and put it around nikkie’s shoulder. He moved closer to hug her and comfort her.
MZ: don’t worry I’m here, nothing will happen to you, I’ll always be here to protect you.

Over at Ximen and XY…
Ximen was about to kiss Xy, but Xy was distracted, thinking about MZ and Nikkie.
Xy looked up.
XY: oh look hey they’re hugging (successfully dodging Ximen’s advance)
Ximen: ai ya, I guess our plan is working (he tried kissing her again)
When XY smiled, at the moment Ximen leaned in and gave her a passionate kiss.
Ximen: this isn’t so bad, I get to spend some quality time with you, and no one can disturb us!
XY blushed.
Ximen: plus you’re trapped in here, can’t run away from me now HAHA
XY: what if I opened the door and jumped out (she teased)
Ximen: No don’t (sounding worried) I’ll jump after you, You know I can’t live without you
XY: I know (hehe) just teasing you ja mah! And promise me you’ll never do anything stupid to hurt yourself.
Ximen: as long as I have you, I won’t
Then they smiled at each other and locked lips again.

Back to MZ and Nikkie…
Nikkie: what do you mean you’re always gonna be here to protect me? I don’t need anyone to protect me
MZ: yes you do, look at you, you’re shaking, stop pretending to be strong all the time. Everyone has their weak moments, and when that happens there should always be someone to protect them from harm.
MZ: come on, let me protect you,…….um will you be my girlfriend?
Nikkie.. umm…
Suddenly the Ferris wheel started and Nikkie screamed.
Nikkie: ai ya stopped without alarming us, and start without telling us, what type of amusement park is this?
They sat for the rest of the ride not saying anything, but MZ was still holding Nikkie.
The ride ended and they got out. Well that is everyone walked out except for Nikkie who ran out as fast as she could and as far as she could.
MZ: so what’s your answer?
XY and Ximen: what answer? (Sounding confused)
Nikkie continued walking on, she turned around and flash MZ a big smile: what do you think?
Then MX smiled, knowing very well what she meant.
Ximen: what are you 2 smiling about, did I miss something…?
XY: ai ya you so slow of course they…
Ximen: OH! they got together, our planned worked!
MZ: what do you mean plan? (he narrow his eyes and looked at Ximen)
But Nikki walked on and had no idea what they’re talking about.
Ximen: if we don’t come up with a plan, how can you two end up being together?
Xy: ya lor, don’t get mad at us.
Meanwhile Nikkie turned around and shouted to the rest of them: hurry up people, so slow!
MZ and the other 2 ran to Nikki to catch up
Nikkie: oh yeah, I’m keeping this jacket, as a memory of our first date.( she smiled childishly)
With that they all smiled and went home.
