The groups arrived at Ying Di early, going over some last minute dance moves and collaboration. But some issues were in need to be taken care of before the real competition begins. They split up into separate groups.
Mayomi: okay I think we really need to get down to practicing the details because SC is getting all her moves mixed up, she’s so nervous.
SC: I’m sorry, but I’m never good with stuff like this and to top it off, I have to dance too. I don’t have any co-ordination skills and I can’t follow the beat and ah just everything (she rambled on and on)
Lei: haha SC you’re always like that rambling, when you’re lying or nervous (he said as he was packing his stuff up to meet with his group)
Lei then turned to leave to join his group.
Meizou: can anyone tell me where the heck the music is?
Everyone in his group: err…
XY: are you sure you can’t find it?
Mayomi: ai ya this can’t be happening!
Van: who was supposed to bring the music?
SC: errr… me lor..
DMS: ai ya where is it?
SC: in my bag lor…
Xy ran to SC’s bag and looked for the CDs.
XY: umm I can’t find it,
Mayomi: u sure?
XY: yeah
Meizou: so that means SC forgot la, what are we gonna do?
They all stood there in gloomy silence, meanwhile in the other group……
Maddie, Zao-zi and Jasmine: WAKE UP!!!!!! (shouting to lei, who was half day-dreaming because he was tired)
But Lei gave them no response.
Ximen: he’s catching up on his 15 hours of sleep!
Nikki: Can’t I just pour some water over him? (HAHA)
Maddie: normally I would agree, except that he needs to wear these clothes up onto stage,(pointing to what Lei is wearing)
Nikkie: aren’t we changing into our routine clothes later?
Zao-zi: he must be lazy to choose another set of clothes, so he just wore it to school!
Jasmine: ‘sigh” we need to practice!
They all shouted, in attempted to wake Lei p (even Ximen). Finally after feeling like an eternity Lei snapped out of his zone.
Lei: why all the shouting?
Nikkie: you dare to even ask us? we’re trying to wake you up for practice!!!
Lei: okay, I’m ready.
Jasmine: Alright! give me a couple of mins, while I get the music ready!
Back to the other group
DMS: WHY DIDN’T YOU BRING THE MUSIC AND CHECK BEFORE YOU LEAVE??!
(Shouting)
the other groups turned and stared at them
DMS: WHAT ARE YOU ALL STARING AT? NEVER SEEN SOMEONE YELL? NEVER SEEN SOMEONE MAD MEI? IF YOU DON’T MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS I’LL GIVE U ALL A BEATING AND HONG ZI TIAO!
So then everyone resumed back to their own business including Lei’s group on the other side of the room.
SC: I can be forgetful too can’t I? It’s not like I did it on purpose, if I did, then I won’t be here, I would go and hide somewhere!!!!
Meizou: calm down ah si, there’s no use in yelling at her (look she’s about to cry and plus, she’s already stage fright, so fix it up- (he whispered: We’ll think of something)(punching DMS’s shoulder lightly)
Van : hey wait a sec!!!
Meizou: eh???
Van (rummaged in her bag): hey there it is, I have the music…
XY: huh? Why did you have the music? we gave it to SC last time..
Meizou: you stole it from SC?
Van (rolled her eyes:) I don’t know what Nikki sees in you, so stupid! No I made a back-up copy, just in case something happens. I’m always prepared for the unexpected. Now it’s actually come in handy. (she smiled triumphantly)
Meizou: oh…(finally understands), and hey Nikki likes me cause I got charms no other guys has (he gave her a wink)
Van: ugh! So full of yourself (and she shivered because of his mushy words)
DMS ran up to Van and gave her a hug and patted her on the head: Yeah!!!! now we can dance, and we can win!!!!
Van: eh.. (Surprised by his childishness and suddenly being so nice to her)
DMS noticed Van’s expression and stopped.
Meanwhile SC stood there, rooted to the ground.
SC POV:
“sigh” I lied to DMS again, I did not bring the CD on purpose, I know if we miss the competition, everyone would be hurt especially Ah Si plus F4’s pride will be affected, but I just can’t being myself to perform, or remember the steps. But that Van brought backup, maybe it’s fate that I have to perform. They’re hugging, why do I feel so “heart-broken and full of pain” when I see them hugging. {After a couple of sec of blank thoughts} I guess I am just generally jealous to see him hugging other girls, but why, I thought I didn’t care. I guess his love for me, has greater effects than I anticipated. I’m just worried, that he’ll fall for another girl and leave me.. the way he and van acts, it reminds me of just like the good old days when me and DMS used to be enemies. I wonder if the something is happening again? Does DMS like Van??
DMS walked up to SC trying to fix the damage he had done. Seeing SC was in a daze, he waved his hand in front of her eyes, several times. Finally SC snapped out of it,
SC: mut ah?
DMS: I’m sorry for yelling at you earlier, I overreacted, I was just concerned about the competition, and my competitiveness over-controlled my senses, will you forgive me?
SC: um.. okie la.. (she smiled)
Mayomi: let’s get down t pratcing people
MeiZou and Ximen: wait..
Ximen: umm we were thinking, of switching groups.
Meizou: yeah just me and him
Jasmine: why?
Lei: so they can dance with the Gf la
Zao-zi: eh I thought u went back to your dreamland
Lei: ai ya, am I that lazy to all of you?
Everyone: yes HAHAHA (except lei)
Lei: -.-!
Zao-zi: isn’t it too late? competition is only like 4 hours away
Meizou: ai ya us so good in dancing won’t be a problem
Ximen: us so smart can improvise!
Meizou: plus I got my pretty gf to help me and she’s very good with dancing (he winked at Nikkie)
Jasmine: I don’t think it’s such a good idea
Van: me too,
Maddie: you won’t die if you’re not with your gf for like a couple of hours!!!!
XY: Ximen we should listen to them, we don’t want anything to go wrong..
Ximen: but.. but…
Lei: ai ya couples so mah fan!
DMS: she’s right, if you 2 screw us over, it’s the pride and reputation of F4 and our school, I won’t 4give you
Meizou: okay okay.. chill we won’t switch (he walked up to nikkie and wrapped his arms around her)
Meizou: good luck my girl, I’ll be cheering for you
Nikkie: you too, let’s go practice before they kill us
Meizou: fine.. and oh here’s your lolli I promised (he pulled the lolli from his jacket)
Nikki: yeah I gotta lolli!!!! (she squealed)
Meizou smiled and gave her a wink before joining his group)
Meanwhile with Ximen and XY
Ximen: don’t be afraid, when you get on stage, I’ll be behind you 100% and cheering you on!
XY: thxx (she looked at him shyly and blushed)
XY gave ximen a hug before running away back to her group. Ximen stood there for a couple of sec, surprised by XY’s initiative.
Lei: wah you got a lolli, where you get it? I don’t get one? (seeing nikkie return with a lollipop)
Nikkie: nope because you haven’t been good!
Lei pouted: me so hungry already, I want a lolli too
Maddie bursted out laughting seeing Lei’s childishness
Maddie: you won’t get a lolli, because she got it from her special someone, (teasing the hungry Lei and the love-struck Nikkie)
Nikkie: yup, you can ask Meizou gor gor for one
Lei: Meizou gor gor won’t gimme one
Nikkie opened her lolli, and started sucking on it, after a couple of min (she turned to Lei) Ai ya I give you one next time okie?
Lei : okie jie jie, you better remember
(he gave her his goofy and childish smile)
Zao-zi: aiya 2 two quit playing around that gor gor, jie jie game, we need to practice!
Maddie: and plus no fiar, you only give lolli to Lei, what about rest of us?
Nikkie: eh? Well you guys didn’t ask, too late now
So then they went and practice their routine. After an hour in half. Everyone split up because they had other competition to compete in.
They gathered back together half an hour before the dancing competition. They shared their results from their other competition. Then they got ready.
They had the Chinese song competition first
Both group choose the song, by FF4: ask for more (it’s actually F4’s song, to the Pepsi, commercial, you know, they are not the band F4, in the story so I change slightly to FF4: hope no one gets confused)
When both groups finished, they waited for other groups from their school and other schools to finish.
Then they went to perform to the English song.
Lei’s group went first. Then DMS’s group.
In the end, DMS’s group won the Chinese song category, while Lei’s group won the English one. With a tie, they judges ask the audience for input, but the audience gave equal amount of applause and cheers to both groups, so then they had a double winner. While F4’s rival Wing’s group were the runner up.
At the end of the dancing competition, the director came up on stage and gave a speech.
Director: I am glad all of you participated today, I have a special announcement to make, I will be holding a play by Shakespeare, more precisely Romeo and Juliet. I have the main characters in mind already, but there will still be open audition for the main parts, and most definitely for the minors parts and other main supporting characters. I hope to see all of you at the audition. Last but not least, good luck to the rest of your comeptition. (Then the director left the stage)

Ai ya sorry it's a long and boring chap..
HAHAH but at least it took u people a while to read it.. err... maybe one more chapt not sure.. LOL
ick.. i knwo i got a lot of subplost.. but i need to keep my like 15 characters all involved.. LOL
and yeah romeo and Juliet play will be coming up in like the chapter after the next.. or maybe 2 chpaters later..t hat's when DMS, SC and Lei starts having their problems HAHAH
