SC: hmm should I go? I wonder what he wants. AI ya what if he wants to talk to me about today..eh… better not go, ai ya, but I’ll see him one day, can’t hide forever. We better fix it ourselves than in front of others (she mumbled to herself)
SC sent a msg back to Lei and told him she’ll be there shortly.
Soon after SC arrived at the rooftop’s door. She took a deep breath and pushed the door, then entered.
Lei: hey..
SC: um hey
SC; so what do you wanna talk about?
Lei: Come sit over here (he patted to the space beside him on the ledge)
SC: um alrite (and she walked over then hopped on to sit next to him)
SC: wahh, the sunset is so pretty from here..
Lei: yes
SC: you call me here to see sunset? (hoping to keep Lei from getting to what he wants to say)
Lei: no.. but..
SC: I’m glad I came. (she cut him off)
Lei: SC I want to..
SC: umm I’m so hungry.. you?
Lei: no.. and can we seriously talk?
SC: yes.. I’m sorry.
Lei: I’m sorry, but I just need to clear things up.
SC: Okay.
Lei: did you mean what you said this afternoon?
SC: err.. what do you mean?
Lei: was it true, when you said that you love me? (a glint of hope in his eyes)
SC: I…
Lei: it’s okay I know(he said dejectedly)
SC:no..
Lei: then? (he asked, wishing that Sc would say the words he wanted to hear)
SC:...…
Lei: I can’t hold it anymore (he took her hands and stared intently into her eyes) I know I shouldn’t be doing this, but the fact is I have been holding it inside me for so long. Yes, I must admit I waited too long, when I came back from France that’s when I realized I have feelings for you. But it was too late, you already had Ah Si. I know you belong to Ah Si.. yet… Sc.. I… I love you. I was going crazy about you, everyday in Japan. I was thinking about you every night.
SC: Lei…
Lei: don’t talk, please let me finished
She nodded her head.
Lei: I’m not trying to break you and Ah Si up. I just want to tell you how I feel. It’s not fair to you. I’m not trying to be a saint, I never meant to lie and keep it from you but..
SC: but you don’t want to get in a fight with Ah Si. I know. And you guys shouldn’t, nothing is more valuable then friendship.
Lei: I’m glad you understand
SC: lei, I.. I love you too, but I can’t
Lei: you can’t leave DMS
SC: I’m sorry. If I had to sacrifice someone it’ll have to be you. I love you two the same, yet he’s given so much for me. I know you did too, but if I end up with you, it’ll only divide F4.
Lei: I understand, but I’m glad you told me how you really felt.
SC: me too, feels like so much burden has been lifted.
Lei stared into SC eyes. Then he leaned in and pressed his lips on SC. At fist she resisted, but then she returned his kiss in the end.
