Chapter 43

The Intruder at the audition *

It was another day for the audition, it’s been a couple of days since the last incident.
Everyone got into their groups and practiced. Everyone was happily practicing when, some unexpected and uninvited people came along.
Wing: well, so that’s what f4 have been busy doing
DMS heard a familiar yet unknown voice and turned around, immediately he recognize it was Wing’s voice, his sworn enemy.
DMS: what are you doing here?
Wing: not here to talk to people like you.
Suddenly Mr. R walked up
R: you’re here finally.
Wing: yes uncle. Dad ask me to gives his blessings to you.
R: tell you dad, thanks and I return my blessings to him as well.
Wing: I will past along the message.
Van: why did people like this suddenly became so well mannered? (she muttered)
But Wing heard her and glared at her.
Wing: so what are all these people here doing?
Maddie: he must be blind, can’t see that we’re acting (she mumbled)
Mr R: these talented people here are auditioning for the play Romeo and Juliet. F4 already got the Romeo parts. So now I am trying to match them up with the girls. I still have 2 more playing nights available for 1 or 2 more Romeo parts and so I am holding audition for the other guys.
Wing: OH..
Mr. R: yes, actually I got one other romeo in mind already: Yamen, but he only came to one audition and hasn’t return my calls so he might not be avaiable.
Wing: can I try out for the last part? I’m sure I’m quite fit for it, at least i know for sure, i'll be better then F4 (looking very smug)
Zao-zi: some people just don’t look at themselves before volunteering.
Wing: yes miss? what are you hinting at?
Zao-zi: nothing, I wasn’t talking to you
WING: THEN WHO WERE YOU TALKING TO?
Nikkie: me, and you don’t need to shout. Real men never shout to a woman, unless you’re not.
WING: I wasn’t shouting, I just umm have a loud voice
Nikkie: alright whatever, anyways we weren’t talking to you, so mind your own business.
Wing: you know you shouldn’t talk to me like that!
MZ: HEY! (Standing protectively in front of Nikki)
Nikkie: so is that a threat? I’m not scared and plus I can take that to the police.
Wing: u.. u.. just watch it!
Mr.R: enough! I don’t want any rubbish like this from any of you, that includes you Wing.
Wing: fine.
Mr R: you can try out if you want.
Wing: alright
Mr. R: since we have a newcomer and all of you have been practicing for a few days, I want all of you to gather here. I’m going to have a group run-though of the play. I’ll just pair you all up randomly at certain scenes,(important scenes)
Wing: you know this could could get interesting (he grinned)
Zao-zi: Whatever! (and turned away)
So they went over the lines. Mr. R picked scenes and characters randomly. In some scenes, there were just the guys in it, and in some scenes, there was just a girl as Juliet, and in some scenes, there was just Romeo.

Mr.R: now I want to go over the scene where Juliet and Romeo kiss… (I dunno where that scene is people.. I haven’t done R and J in school.. I did Macbeth, Hamlet and King Lear…)
R: okay may I have Wing and Maddie up please?
Maddie: WHAT? ME? I don’t want to do it… I don’t know how to act.. don’t want the part and certainly don’t want to do the kissing scene with him!
Wing just smirked.
Wing: have you never been kissed before? If that’s the case, consider youself lucky, your first kiss is given to you by such a prefect guy
Maddie: what the hell? don't u mean perfect? u sure don't know ur english very well. Besides it's none of your business if I have been kissed before. I feel ashamed, knowing that I even have to stand beside you
Wing was really mad, so mad that he wanted to punch her.. yell at her and torture her, but he couldn’t because Mr. R was there. So he just gave her a cold stare and kept quiet.
Mr.R: Let’s get started
Wing: blba blab blab
Maddie: blab balb blab
Wing:blab blab (I’m not sure if the juliet talks…errr…)

Wing leaned down and pressed his lips on madison. She wanted to object yet she knew if she did, then they’ll have to go over the scene agaiin.. which meant more kissing with him (haha).
The scene was done and maddison quickly got up.. and started wiping her mouth and spitting into tissue.
Maddie: gosh I wonder if I can eat again
Wing: you got sweet lips
Maddie: shut up! UGH!

F4 and the girls, silence
Wing: and to think about it, it sure brighten up my day, pretty girl. But what I am looking forward to this is the advantage of getting to kiss f4’s girlfriends.
DMS: you better not lay one hand and touch one hair of SC, or else you’ll be sorry.
SC: DMS (she pulled him back afraid he’ll get hurt)
Wing: well well well. I don’t mind kissing any other girls here either, since one is a sister of someone I heard, another 2 are rich girls and her (pointing at Van) seems quite interesting well, yet irratating none the less.
Van: what do you mean irratating? ur the one that's getting on ppl's nerves.
Wing: you know what I mean (winked at her)
Jasmine: do we really have to do this?
Lei: I thought having Yamen here was going to be a trouble, now this even worst.
Mr.R: enough. Let’s continue.
Mr.R had Lei and SC up next.
Lei and SC ran over the scene smoothly. DMS was at the side getting very jealous. But he promised his best friend and GF that he would trust them so he didn’t say anything. Everyone noticed even Wing. But no one said anything except..
Wing: so it must feel bad, seeing your best-bud kissing your gf
DMS: say what you want to say. I don’t care. We’re doing a play here and stuff like this will happen
Wing: yeah and knowing she was his EX. It must feels not so good eh? Have you ever wondered how true your girlfriend is towards you?
Lei: enough with your rubbish, we’re only doing a play. You don’t know what happened, stopping barking comments.
Wing: what do you mean barking comments?
Zaozi: yo, didn’t we tell you to mind your own business earlier?
Mayomi: ai ya must be deaf or have poor interpretation skills
Lei: you know exactly what I mean.
Wing: well I ain’t letting you guys off the hook that easily. I’ll remember every single word you guys say to me.
Nikkie: why are we wasting time with people like him? Someone who has no sense. People who got class like us, shouldn’t bother with him. Come on we have a play to pratice.
Mr. R: I like her words “WE HAVE A PLAY TO PRACTICE”
Everyone:…….. (silence)
Ant then the play continued on.
