Van: hey why r u looking so gloomy? (she cheerfully asked)
Nikkie: ai ya, I have something on later, but I have to get Stuffy back from someone
Van: Stuffy??! When did you lose him?
Nikkie: I don’t know, maybe Maddie took him out one day or something, I have no idea
Van: well do you have to go to the lecture?
Nikkie: of course! I have a report due afterwards. Hey! Do u think u can go for me??
Van: to the lecture?? No way, I’m not going suffer some boring person talk and write that long report for u
Nikkie: NO u silly! As much as I know have u love to do work, I don’t want u to do my assignment for me. I mean can u go get stuffy for me?
Van: umm…I guess… I don’t have anything on later anyways…
Nikkie: thxx, GTG love u, I owe u one.
Van: okay…wait! Where is the meeting place and the time?
Nikkie: oh yeah almost forgot…it’s at a mansion on Fear Street at 5:00 today. Don’t be late cuz I want Stuffy back all in one piece and he better be clean too!
Van: great…now not only do I have the task of getting him back in one piece when I didn’t lose him in the first place, I also have to clean him up! JUST WONDERFUL!
Nikkie: hehhe you lum uou lor, bubuye!! Who told u to agree so fast? (she laughed)
With that she walked away.
Van went to the library to study for a while and browse for books. At about 4:30, she packed up and went on her way to help Nikkie get Stuffy back.
Meanwhile F4 was hanging out at a café eating lunch, when MZ’s phone rang. Meizou picked up his phone.
Meizou: hello?
Voice: I heard an interesting rumor that I thought you might want to know.
Meizou: who are u? What do u want? Get straight to the point!
With MZ reply, F3 turned around to look at MZ with concern, they were afraid it might be another kidnap or bad incident.
Voice: I heard that ur gf seems to be cheating on u.
Meizou: haha, yeah right. U have it all wrong, she’s madly in love with me.
F3: huh? (puzzled and confused since they can only hear Meizou’s part of the conversation)
Voice: If you don’t believe me, go to the mansion at the end of Fear Street at 6 today and see for urself. Don’t be early, don’t be late. Then u’ll know the truth. Don’t forget ur gf used to be playgirl…
Meizou: why should I believe u and why should I listen to u? Why should I go?
But before Meizou can continue the line went dead.
F3: what was that all about?
So Meizou told them the whole conversation.
Lei: do u think it is a trap?
Ximen: All I’m concerned about is how that person get ur phone number and how did he know so much about u and Nikkie?
Meizou: I don’t know. I’m not sure if I should go…(looks very troubled)
DMS: r u afraid?
Meizou: afraid? HAHA (laughs nervously)
Lei: afraid of seeing the truth? That maybe she is cheating behind ur back.
Meizou:…Eh…
Lei: if u trust her, then u shouldn’t go. But if u have doubts, then go check it out, or else u’ll regret it.
Ximen: wait! But what if it is just a plan to capture Meizou?
DMS: tho if we don’t go, then we won’t know
Lei: let’s do this, we have our cell phones with us if we want to call for help. Besides if I don’t go home and get my 15 hrs of sleep, my servants will know I’m missing and call the police and every search party to look for me.
Meizou: hey this is my problem, I’m going by myself.
DMS: don’t be stupid!! We’re all going! We’re F4. we stick together!
Meizou: guys…
Ximen: hey F4 faces all problems together.
Meizou: it’s 4:30 now
Lei: why don’t u try calling Nik first to see where she is, then we don’t have to go thru all this trouble.
Meizou dialled Nikkie’s number.
At the international business conference.
“beep beep beep”
Nikkie looked at her phone and remembered that she forgot to turn her phone off. So before she caused anymore disruption in the class and got kicked out, she turned off her phone, without seeing who called.
Meizou:…no one is answering..
Ximen: well, maybe it’s not what the guy said, and what we think, she might have something important on and turned off her phone, or maybe her batteries ran out.
Meizou: yeah maybe…(slightly pissed and mad and worried)
So MZ and F3 left the café to head towards Nikkie’s so called “meeting place”.
Meanwhile over at Van’s situation.
25 minutes later, it was almost 5 and Van still couldn’t find the place.
Van: why are these houses so weird? I feel creeped out, I didn’t know anyone from our school would live at these places, even tho they’re mansions…they look so old and abandoned and ready to crumble down…I really doubt anyone even lives here unless they either really love their houses or gotten really poor. Better get Stuffy back and leave ASAP (she thought)
Van saw an old hag walk by.
Van: excuse me where is this place? (she asked the woman for directions)
Women: Oh, no one lives there anymore. It’s been empty for 20 years. People have heard strange noises from there and are afraid to go in that mansion. But if u want to go there, just follow this road to the dead end and the mansion is the last one there. Just beware of Cordelia…
Van was looking at the direction the old woman was pointing to and listening to her directons. When she heard the woman’s warning, she turned back to ask what she meant.
Van: thx so much…but who is Cor…(she looked around, but the old woman was gone)
Van thought: how did she go so fast? Maybe she knew a shortcut or something. Oh well…it’s getting dark…I better hurry.
So Van continued to walk down the road, until she reached the big oak doors of the abandoned mansion.
She knocked on the front door, but no one answered. She looked at the big glass windows beside the door and tried to look inside, but the curtains were in the way. So she pushed open the door and it creaked open. Van peeked inside, and then before she had the chance to react, someone from outside pushed her in and the door slammed shut!
Van: hey let me out!! HELP!!! (she shouted and pounded the door, but discovered that the door was locked)
Someone came out from the other room. But it was too dark to see. Luckily, Van is always prepared and got her flashlight from her bag and used it to see who it was.
Van couldn’t believe her eyes, it was her worst enemy in front of her…
Meanwhile back at the conference.
Nikkie: yawn! Ai ya, it was such a waste of my time. I know all this stuff already. I should of gone to get Stuffy instead then.(she looked at her watch) it’s 5:42…hrm I wonder if Van got Stuffy back yet.
When the conference ended, she turned her phone back on and realized that MZ had called her. She decided to call him back later cuz she was going to wait for Van’s call to tell her the good news since she wants to see her teddy bear ASAP (heheheh =P – author)
After walking down the corridors to past the time, at 6:03 Nikkie still didn’t receive any calls from Van, so she decided to head to that meeting place and search for Van and Stuffy.
