Meanwhile (jump back to 5:43)
F4 ran into the rest of the girls.
SC: where r u guys going?
Ximen: to check out something.
Lei: yeah we have to go.
Zao-zi: can we go with u?
Lei: no too dangerous for u girls.
Meizou: have u guys seen Nikkie?
Maddie: nope. She has something on today, but I forgot what.
Zao-zi: wah Meizou, already missing ur gf?
But MZ didn’t return any comment, he was thinking in his own little world.
SC: eh…what’s wrong?
Lei: we’re not sure yet. But this mysterious person called MZ and blab blab (don’t wanna type out the whole incident…u ppl know)
May: I told u she was a playgirl!
XY: hey don’t add oil to the fire!
MZ gave his sister a cold stare.
Jasmine: I don’t believe she’s that type of person. Something must of happened!
DMS: so now we’re going to find out. Hey Van is missing too!
Once SC heard that DMS had noticed Van was missing and stuff she began to feel hurt and sad. But remained silent.
Lei: if u guys see her, better keep her close and call us to tell us that she’s fine.
Zao-zi: don’t be mean, we want to go with u guys.
Ximen: no..it’s too dangerous.
DMS: u guys might get in our way.
But after some convincing from the girls, F4 agreed to take them and they drove off to solve the mystery.
Meanwhile back on the battered sofa.
Van got up and looked around for a light switch cuz the room was getting darker by the minute and her flashlight can’t last for long.
Wing: hey watch it! You stepped on my toe!
Van: well who told u to put ur foot there? Hey, do u know where the light switch is? Since u keep claiming that this is ur house. u must know where everything is. I can’t see anything in here.
Wing: u asking me?
Van: Duh! You see anyone else here? Of course I’m asking u idiot!
Van searched blindly in the room.
Van: here it is (she flipped on the switch) now that’s better.
She sat back down on the sofa and opened her bag.
Wing: what r u doing?
Van: hwk. What else can I do?
Wing: hwk? We’re stuck in this old, stinky, falling apart house, and u’re going to sit here and do hwk? Crazy woman.
Van: well there’s nothing better to do and I’m sure don’t want to talk to u!
Wing: what? Why not? I’m the most prefect guy in the world!
Van: huh? Prefect? Don’t u mean perfect? U keep on saying the wrong word!! Tho btw u’re most certainty NOT perfect!
Wing: hey watch it, u always get on my nerves! Really makes me want to hit u!
Van: okay okay, let’s not fight. Fine, if u want to talk, we’ll talk.
She packed up all her books and looked at him. After talking for a while, Van realized that he wasn’t that bad, kinda like DMS, a little bit irritating and dumb, self-centred and thinks money can buy everything (well DMS realize that money can’t buy SC’s love…but everything else) Wing also realized that Van was actually quite smart, nice and easy to talk to, very simple minded, and somewhat innocent. She was quite attractive when she is trying to prove a point yet don’t know how to. She knew what she wanted to say by can’t say it out. He also realize that she has very pretty straight black hair that sometimes cover her eyes, which she has to brush it back every once in a while. All the while, for most of the conversation Van was trying to find out why all this happened. Finally, Wing ran out of excuses and didn’t know what to say, decided to tell her of his plan since it didn’t work out anyways…
Wing: actually the reason why this happened was I just wanted to get back at f4, so I decided to use Nikkie.
Van: oh why her?
Wing: well she’s MZ’s gf so if I can get her to like me and dump MZ then he’ll be heartbroken…besides she’s the best of all f4’s girls…plus I might like her, but not now (he started to think of ways he might get lucky with Van, since they’re trapping in an abandoned house and all…no one will know what happens in here….He smiled wickedly)…now only my gang likes her.
Van: oh see…(finally understanding that this was all a plan, but that was not enough, she wanted to get more info out of him…heheh) well “what if” she really does like u, and she finds out ur plan, then she’ll be hurt…I don’t like that…
Wing: but u said she won’t…so no worries
Van: just saying…
Suddenly a crash was heard in the mansion, and it echoed in every room.
Van: what was that?
Wing: I dunno
Van: figures…(she muttered) shouldn’t of expected him to give a smart reply. GO check it out!
Wing: why me? Can’t u go?
Van: why must I do everything? You’re the man around here! Besides I’m scared of ghosts.
Wing: u? scared? And I thought u’re not afraid of anything
Van: oh don’t joke with me. Everyone has their own fears. I’m sure u’re afraid of something.
Wing: I’M not afraid of….
Van: shut up! Yeah yeah whatever…go find out what it is…I’m freaking out! (she grabbed on to one of Wing’s sleeves and stayed behind his back)
Wing: hey! Don’t grab that hard! This is expensive! You’ll wrinkle my shirt! Oh and I just remembered, there is a rumor about a woman committing suicide in this house cuz her lover married another woman (he teased)
Van clutched harder.
Van: what!? Its all ur fault for dragging me here…(she started to tremble)
Wing: hey, calm down! Chill, I was just kidding. Geez…I didn’t realize that u’re really scared of these things….
Van: u think I was joking!? Now why would I do that? So I can trick u into becoming the hero and save the day? Dream on!
And so they both walked up the stair using the flashlight to see who made that sound. The wind was blowing eerily thru the cracks in the wall, making loud moaning sounds. The stairs creaked with every step they took…
Meanwhile F4 and the girls just got there, they parked their car by the driveway and headed towards the door, searching for any signs of Van or Nikkie. But little did they know that Nikkie was just arriving rite behind them.
Nikkie POV: isn’t that F4 and everyone else? What r they doing here? Ai ya, don’t tell me they played a practical joke on me by using Stuffy. Then I feel bad for Van cuz she’s the one that went instead of me!
Nikkie tried to catch up with them and called their name, but they didn’t notice.
Lei: I think this is the house the person was talking about.
MZ pounded the door.
Meizou: anyone in there? Come out! (but the door was too thick for anyone inside to hear him)
DMS: it’s not use. They can’t hear us.
XY: hey what’s this lock on the door doing there? (she pted)
Ximen: I dunno. I think we have to knock this door down. U girls stand back.
F4 worked together to kick the door open but failed after several attempts.
Maddie: u guys are so useless, can’t even kick down a door. Stand aside!
Maddie then uses her karate kick and broke the lock. She pushed the door open. They all rush in.
Meizou: Nikkie!!!! Where r u?
Suddenly there was a loud scream.
Meizou got very worried, afraid that something horrible has happened to Nikkie. Everyone look around to check for signs of Nikkie.
Lei: Hey lit girl, come out!
SC: Nikkie!! R u hurt?? Shout out!
XY, Zao-zi, and Jasmine counted to 3 and yelled: Nikkie! Where r u? (May remained silent, quietly hoping Nikkie is somewhere in there suffering)
Just then a voice called out.
Voice: um? What’s all the commontion?
Everyone screamed: wha!!!!!!
F4 and the girls turned around.
Meizou ran up to Nikkie.
MZ: Nikkie? Are u alrite?
Nikkie: huh? What’s this gathering all about?
DMS: YOU…(Lei was about to cover his mouth but it was too late)
Nikkie: me?
MZ: um I got a mysterious call today. We thought u got kidnapped.
Nikkie: OH NO!
SC: what’s the matter?
Nikkie: inside…it’s…it’s Van…she’s the one inside the mansion….
Maddie: Van?
So Nikkie told them what happened.
DMS: ai ya…see Nikkie didn’t che…(Lei kicked him)..got kidnapped.
But Nikkie guessed what DMS wanted to say.
She glared at Meizou for not trusting her.
MZ: it’s not what u think.
Nikkie: oh really? (she didn’t really believe Meizou)
Maddie: I think it’s better if u guys argue later, rite now we have to get Van out of here first.
Lei: good idea. Since this is a big house, why don’t we split up into groups? So we can search the house faster.
Ximen: I’m with XY! (he grabbed XY to his side and went inside)
DMS: SC’s with me! (he dragged SC in cuz she didn’t want to go with him)
MZ: Nikkie, ur coming with me. We can talk, while we search for Van. I think I have a lot of explaining to do…sigh (he trudged in with Nikkie)
Lei: well since I’m the only guy left which one u ladies want to go with me? Cuz then the rest of u can go all in one group, girls are usually less scared if they r in a big group. It’s different then going with a guy.
Maddie: I’ll go with u.
Lei: okay, then Zao-zi, Mayomi and Jasmine can go together. Let’s go!
With that, they headed inside. The wind violently slammed the door shut, locking them in once again.
