At XY’s house.
Mom: XY dear, brunch is ready.
XY: alright Mom.. (she went downstairs to eat)
After a while.
Mom: XY dear why aren’t you eating?
XY: I am eating.. can’t you see?
Mom: dear.. that’s so little..
XY: well.. I’m done.. bye I’m going back to my room, I’m gonna go back to school in 2 days, think I should catch up on what they’ve been doing in Canada.
Mom: if that’s ur wish, but I thought u wanted to finish school in Taiwan, because you miss it so much and you didn’t like the studies here.
XY: I was just being foolish that other time, now I’m all grown up and seen the world, looks can be deceiving. It appears to be harder in Canada yet it is actually easier here.
Mom: Xy are u.. is something wrong?
XY: I’m fine, you guys don’t have to worry about me…
Dad: just let her be, if she changes her mind again, then she can go back to taiwan. Just let her think, you know teenagers are like that these days.
Mom: well I hope everything is fine.
So then XY went back to her room.
Meanwhile...
‘ding dong’
XY mom: who could it be? (she muttered and went to open the door)
Elaine: auntie
XY Mom: hi Elaine, you’re here to find XY?
Elaine: yes, she wanted to see what we’ve been learning.. so I came to give her my notes and previous test.
XY Mom: come on in, but who is his gentlemen beside you?
Elaine: er.. I don’t know..
XY Mom: oh I thought he was your bf you were going out with
Elaine: uhhh... no.. I don’t know him.(she blushed)
Guy: Auntie, I’m Ximen (Sumthing—dunno his lastname in da story.. so yeah,…..)
Ximen: I’m here to look for XY, can I please talk to her?
Dad: so you’re the guy she went back to taiwan for, and probably left.
Ximen: I’m sorry uncle, but there seems to be some misunderstanding and miscommunication between us, can I please go in and talk to her?
Mom: it’s not such a good idea ... (Sounding slightly mad)
Ximen: please, I really need to talk to her. I really need her. I’ll..
Dad: It might be best if they work it out.. XY hasn’t been herself, so maybe this will do her some good..
Mom: but.. he..
Dad: she’s not a baby now, let’s just let the youngster work it out..
Mom: fine...(she sighed)
Ximen: Thank-you uncle.
Elaine: umm.. I’m gonna go up and drop her off my stuff first, should I tell her you’re here?
Ximen: Don’t, but just stay with her inside, in case she does something extreme...
Elaine: all right then… (Slightly confused)
She went upstairs while Ximen stayed and talked to XY mom and dad.
She knocked on the door.
XY: come in
Elaine: hey! (she closed the door behind her)
XY: hey, you got the stuff
Elaine: yeah (handed her the binder) everything you need to know in all your courses..
XY: wah… 5 inch binder… -.-‘!
Elaine: well you have been missing for like 2 months.. .
Xy: all notes?
Elaine: well.. I don’t know how some of your other courses, but for Eng, Accounting, Business and Physics I gave u a copy of teacher’s notes and I photocopied my assignments we did, then tests, it's all in order. I wrote in pencil and explain in simple instructions and etc. on the side or on a piece of sticky paper.
XY: wow thanks, you must have put a lot of work into it
Elaine: well, your bio and math courses I’m not sure, I asked Tammy and Brian for it.
XY: okay.
Elaine: Let’s go over the stuff before I have to go. Also you can tel me about your time in Taiwan and update me on the other 3 girls.
XY: Sure.
So they talked for a while (after ½ hr).
Knock knock
XY: who is it? (not really expecting anyone, b/c usually her parents don’t bother when she’s studying and her friends are over.. EXCEPT if she’s with guy(s). She’s really annoyed cuz she was saying something really funny about her friends in taiwan to Elaine).
Ximen: (took a deep breath) it’s me.. can i…
Xy(surprised): What are you doing here? (she ran to the door and quickly locked it.)
Ximen: I’m.. I’m sorry XY.. can I please come in and talk to you?.. or can you at least open the door so I can see you…?
XY: There’s nothing to be said, LEAVE NOW. I don’t ever wanna hear your voice or see your face.
Ximen: I’m not leaving until we talk this out.
XY: well then, stay here, but I think I can call the police on you for harassing. I’m not coming out until you leave
Ximen: Xy please don’t be this way. I’ll wait for you forever if I have to.
XY was facing the door, she could hear the pain in Ximen’s voice, yet she couldn’t bring herself to open the door. She didn’t want to fall into a doubtful and twisting love relationship. She realize their love was never meant to be, Unlike SC, she just didn’t have the courage to face the adversity, nor did she wanted to continue. Even if they solve this, in the end it’ll still be painful. She knew for a fact that Ximen’s parents wouldn’t let them off so easily. She tried denying her love for him, yet even tho he had hurt her, she loved him too much. She didn’t want Ximen to sacrifice anything for her in the end, this was a good chance for her to finally end everything. It meant letting Ximen go, and have everyone think the misunderstanding blew into such a big proportion that it couldn’t be fixed, yet there was something deeper behind it, something that only she knew and something she’ll never plan to tell anyone.
Ximen was pouding on the door, he could feel his eyes getting watery, yet he didn’t care, so what if anyone saw him cry.. he didn’t care as long as he could see his beloved and hopefully get her back.
XY couldn’t take it anymore... She dropped to the floor and started crying silently. Elaine walked over to her and put her arms around her shoulders.
Elaine: XY open the door, so he can talk to you. Look, I can see you still love him, or else you wouldn’t be crying. Being stubborn like this is not going to solve any problem, nor does keeping everything inside help anyone.
XY: I don’t want to talk to him and see him, I’m crying not because I love him, I’m crying because I can’t shed the sad and pianful memories he gave me, me and him are over.
Elaine: yet you want to keep lying. Obviously if you don’t love him, then why would the memories matter?
XY: i.. i…
Elaine: don’t lie to yourself no more.
XY continued crying in Elaine's arms.
Elaine: hush hush.. don’t cry now...(grabbed some tissue and gave it to XY)
XY gratefully took it and wiped her eyes.
Elaine: done crying la?
XY nodded her head.
Elaine: well I have to go.. so…
XY: no.. don’t go, once you open the door he’ll come in
Elaine: but I have to go.. =( my parents will yell…. -.-‘!
XY: umm call them and tell them you need to explain some more…
Elaine: sure but it can’t last forever.. I have to eventually go…
XY: why don’t you tell them, there’s a problem with the lock on my door. Since no one has used my room after I left... the lock is all screwed up and rusted up.. and now I suddenly come back to my room, it got stuck and trapped us in the my room. We have to wait for the door smith to come and open it. Then once he comes, he has to spend some time on it… tell them you’ll be back in a couple of hours..
Elaine: couple of hours?!
XY: PLEASE! PLEASE!
Elaine: alright – .—‘! (she called and explained and her parents accepted her excuse)
Then they sat in silence for a while.
Elaine and XY continued talking inside the room. XY told Elaine about Van, Nikkie and Maddi, and her best friend SC. Then she told her about Jasmine, May, Yamen, Qing He, and Zao-zi. She also told Elaine about the 2 bicthes and other events. Finally she told her about F4, when it came to the part about Ximen tho, she talked as little as possible and keep leaving things out.
Elaine: I think you’re leaving some stuff out about Ximen and a little about F4.
XY: no I’m not, you can call Maddi and them if you don’t believe me…
Ximen meanwhile was sitting on the floor outside of XY’s room. He was listening to their conversation and winced when XY left details out and also the pain and sadness in her voice.
Elaine: wah! It’s like 7:30 already, I have to go home before my parents really kill me, I mean… fixing a lock shouldn’t take 4 hours… -.-‘!
XY: but.. but..
Elaine: no buts, I’m sorry I really have to go.. plus you can’t hide in here forever, be brave and face him and face your fears.
XY:.. gum ho la… =(
Elaine: I’ll be cheering and rooting for you okay?.. show him some girl power..! (hehe)
XY: okay la.. (pouted)
Elaine: ai ya don’t pout.. =(
XY: fine (she gave her a small smile)
Elaine: bye (as she gathered her stuff ) study hard and I don’t need the stuff back.
XY: sure, be careful and call me when you get home..
Elaine: okay and you tell me how it goes..
XY: fine, I promise.
Elaine opened the door.. didn’t see Ximen sitting here and tripped.
Elaine: AHH
Elaine was about to hit the ground, but Ximen caught her,
Ximen: sorry, next time I’ll sit beside the door..
Elaine: yeah.. should have.. ugh!
XY: you okay Elaine?
Elaine: yeah, he caught me just in time.. anyways bye (good luck she whispered into Ximen’s ears)
Ximen gave her a small smile then turned to face XY
Ximen: XY ..i..
XY: what do you have to say? Since I opened the door already I’ll let you talk, but I only give you 5 mins…
Ximen: I’m sorry, I mistrusted you. I found out, You and Nikkie were right, it was the doing of Baihe and Quainhui.
I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to doubt you, yet I couldn’t control myself. My jealousy and temper got the best of me. But it was all because I love you too much and I can’t bear to think and imagine, you’ll leave me or cheat on me or anything like that. I can’t live without you… can you please give me another chance?
XY: I gave you a chance back in Taiwan once, you promise you’ll never leave me and never hurt me yet you did..
Ximen: you promised you won’t leave me and face everything with me, yet you left…
XY: ARE U ACCUSING ME NOW? YOU BROKE THE PROMISE FIRST! NOW WE'RE EVEN! (she was about to slaw the door shiut, but Ximen blocked her from doing so)
Ximen: no.. no.. that’s not what I mean.. I really love you, I don’t want our love to end. I lost you once, I don’t want to lose you again, never ever again.
XY: Ximen (she said softly). You know.. it is best to end it like this.
Ximen: to give up like that, and not put up a fight? I don’t mind the pain nor the aggravation, there must be a better way for us to be. I refuse to take it and leave it like it is.
XY: Ximen I love you… but I can’t bear another break up.. another let down… just let it be, I’ll always love you.. but I just can’t.. (she closed her eyes painfully)
Ximen walked over and tooked her hand he then kneel down on the floor.
Ximen: I’ll stay like this and beg for your love if I have to, I love you too much. If you don’t accept my love I’ll rather die.
XY: don’t (she put her fingers onto his lips) don’t say that..it’s not worth it for a girl like me (she looked at him in the eyes)
Ximen: everything for you is worth it.
XY: Ximen, find someone better than me, I’ll always love you. Remember someone will always love you, you’ll always be someone’s love.
Ximen: I don’t want another love. Time will never change my love for you. What can I do to erase you? I know I should have trusted you. I thought about it, how can I be so foolish? I don’t want our love and relationship to end like MZ and Nikkie’s.
XY: but..(she started to cry)
Ximen: hush, if you’ll give me another chance. I’ll try my best to right the wrong. If you’ll take my hand, we can face the future and adversity together.
Meanwhile back in Taiwan.
Everyone was gathered at school (it’s morning in Taiwan and approcahing night in Canada)
DMS: eh, have you guys heard from Ximen?
Sc: eh, you miss him?
DMS: who will miss him? just kinda weird f3... minus one.. it’s always been the 4 of us.. except on very rare occasions
Zao-zi: well I guess this is one of the rare occasions.
DMS: Where is everyone else and your Yamen?
Zao-zi: (pout) he has to work.
SC: where does he work now?
Zao-zi: manager at microsoft software development lor..
SC: eh gum fai manager?
Zao-zi: yeah, he just graduated and they like his potential, he had a 99% avg in four years of uni, plus masters.
Van: wah he got his master’s already?
Zao-zi: yeah, he studied in the summer, so he got through like 6..7 years of uni in like 4 years.
Van: wow!!
DMS: eh when did you appear? And the other 2? You 3 are always together, kinda weird to see only you as well.
Madison: aww someone miss me (she smiled) I’m here!
Zao-zi: why you so late.. don’t you come with van?
Madison: eh.. was talking over there (she pted)
But they saw no one there but Qing He.
DMS (almost chocked on his gum): you talked to that.. that ba fa ru da er zi???
Madison: yeah? Why? I don’t find anything wrong with him..
MZ: eh maybe someone fall in love after that kiss lu...(he teased)
Madison (blushed): what are you talking about? we’re just friends.
SC: well I’m glad he found new friends. (she smiled-half thinking that he will bother her less)
Jasmine: hi everyone, morning! (she smiled)[came in with mz]
DMS: well so it's just that sleepy head Lei, Mayomi and Nikkie and Jing not here.
Lei: what do you mean sleepy head!? (pouted)
MZ: of course you, why you walk with some sound today too! (haha)
Lei: eh, yeah I’m a little tired today, maybe that’s why.
Van: finally he walks normally.
Lei: wei.. what do you mean finally normal? (behind Van.. scaring her)
Van: eh.. nothing and please don’t scare me like that.
Then Mayomi and Jing came in together.
MZ: wei sister what took you so long?
May: I went to help Jing jie jie pick up some stuff ma
MZ: oh.
Jing : is everyone here except Ximen and XY?
DMS: no.. that nikkie gal is not here yet. That weird woman is always never on time.
Van: we’ll be lucky if we only have to wait for her for ½ hour, but don’t get your hopes too high.
Everyone pov: that stupid nikkie always so late! -.-‘!!!!!!!
Meanwhile Nikkie came in dragging someone along.
Nikkie: come walk faster.. everyone is going to kill me cuz I’m so late!!
Person: coming, don’t drag.. you’re wrinkling my shirt!
Nikkie (pouted): meanie, justa shirt !
Person: yeah but it’s my favourite shirt and it’s expensive
Nikkie: yeah yeah.. whatever.. who cares!
Person: still...
They were all sitting there, debating when Nikkie will come when...
Nikkie: wei you people talking about me behind my back, while I’m not here? Better watch what you say, or you’ll be sorry!! (she teased)
DMS: eh when did you come? And you’re wearing…. And that’s..
Person: umm Hi, I'm Ryan. Remember me?
Van: hey man! Sup?
Maddi: why are you 2 together and why are you here?
Ryan: what? I’m not welcomed? And you don’t miss me? Fine!
Maddi: just asking.. so why are you here?
Ryan: I’m done that little business trip to Europe, so now I have to help my dad settle his company branch in Taiwan. I called Nikkie this morning and she volunteered to pick me up!
Van: you don’t have a car, how can you go pick him up?
Nikkie: hehe notice you haven’t returned Wing’s car yet? I just umm kinda borrowed it. LOL
Van: great.. you better not let him found out.. or he might kill you.. it’s not damaged is it?
Nikkie: hey I have good driving skills, as far as I’m concerned.. you crashed more than me..
Maddi: but that’s cuz you don’t drive a lot.
Nikkie: hey you on her side or my side? (she glared)
Madi quickly hid behind DMS, MZ and Mayomi. (then stuck her tongue out at Nikkie)
DMS: anyways why are you...?
Nikkie: wearing glasses? I always umm wear glasses.. or wait... I always need to wear glasses, can’t see without them. You guys don’t see me with them, cuz I wear contacts lenses.
Zao-zi: oh.. why do you have them on today?
Nikkie: I’m tired.. couldn’t put contacts on.. and I was in a rush picking him (poiting to ryan) up so I just wore glasses…I don’t look really hideous with them. Do I?
Maddi: of course you do… very ugly, take them off.. I can’t bear to see you.. I might go blind…(she teased and sounded very sarcastic)
Nikki: Madison you better watch your words..
DMS: well.. I have to agree.. I don’t like them.. much better if you don’t have them on.. plus I’m not used to it.. can you take it off?
Nikkie: I can’t see…!!!!!!!!
Ryan: I can hold your hand and guide you around. (he teased) Like last time when u broke your glasses and didn’t have your contacts.
Nikkie: ugh don’t remind me…
Maddie: and I helped to show you where the washroom is.. LOL
Nikkie: =( so mean.. tease me..
MZ POV: I wonder if Nikkie and Ryan have a thing going on…
Jasmine POV: MZ looks disappointed when he heard Ryan will hold Nikkie’s hand and guide her around, I can tell he still likes her.. but…I wonder how much MZ likes me compared to Nikkie? I have his person but not his heart probably.
Van: guys stop it, she can’t see then she can’t do work and she’ll fail..
SC and Jasmine: I know man, don’t be so mean.. plus it’s not ugly on her..
Lei: don’t worry (he smiled) you look nice… I’m not used to it tho.
MZ: don’t take it off, it’s refreshing…
Jing: don’t be mean guys, I have glasses too and I wear them when I study..
F4 turned to look at her in surprised.
Jing: what?
DMS: you wear glasses?
Jing: when I study.. I don’t have to wear glasses or contacts normally.
Rest: oh!
Jing: anyways now that everyone is here, I have something to give to everyone.
She reached into her bag and Mayomi did the same. They took out pink enevelopes.
DMS: what is it?
Jing: It's an invitation to my wedding next week. I hope you can all make it and please bring a partner.
DMS: so soon?
Jing: not soon, I came back 2 weeks ago…
Lei: I think we were too wrapped up with Ximen and XY’s problem. (he smiled)
Everyone said their congradulations to Jing.
MZ: I wonder if Ximen can make it back.
Jing: well I hope so, it won’t be the same, if all 4 of u isn’t here.. (she passed the invitation around)
Jing (to Ryan): I was going to send the invitation over to Europe, but since you’re here.. There you go (she handed him the enevelope) My parents contacted your parents, they might come too. Our parents have a contact going on. I hope you can come, especially if your parents can’t make it
Ryan: I’ll try to make it. (he smiled)
‘ring ring’ the school bell rang.
SC: come on, let’s go to class. (she dragged Zao-zi away)
And then everyone left for classes except Jing and Ryan, who doesn’t go to that school and Mayomi decided to stay behind as well. She was going to help Jing post up her message on the message board and Ryan followed.
Back to Canada.
XY: I ..
Ximen pressed his lips on XY before XY can continue. At first XY resisted and try to push Ximen away, but he was too strong. In the end, she let him kiss her, but she didn’t kiss him back.
Ximen was a little disappointed she didn’t kiss him back but at least in the end, she didn’t resist.
XY continued to cry in Ximen’s arm.
After a while she stopped (after like an hour and he was all drenched with her tears.. poor dude.. haha--author)
XY: Ximen.. but what about..?
Ximen: what about my parents?… is that also why you left? you felt like there’s always will be an invisible wall between us, even if we fix this one, there will be another. You don’t think you’re as strong as SC and can endure all the hardship.. am I right?
XY: (smiled shyly) yes... you read my mind… (she whispered)
Ximen: but we’ve been through half the battle already, it’s not worth it to give up now.
XY: what if it still never works out in the end.. then...
Ximen: hush... we haven’t tried yet.. how will we know? Look Ah Si and SC's fight with the horrible tai hou and now they’re together. My parents isn’t as bad as Ah Si's, I’m sure our ride won’t be as bumpy. Will you give me another chance and come back to Taiwan with me?
XY: I… can I think about it?
Voice1: he seems sincere and he came all the way just for you, I think you should give him a chance, there’s not much to think about.
XY: dad
Voice2: I agree with your dad (her mom)
Ximen: thank-you auntie, uncle.
XY: but what about school? I just reregistered.
Ximen: we can unreregisiter (hehe)
XY: but..
Ximen: come on (puppy dog face) or I’ll kneel down beside your bed here until you agree.
XY (blushed): ………. Gum.. ho la…
Ximen jumped in the air for joy shouting yes...and pumping his fist.
XY: eh.. Ximen.. you don’t have to be like this.(Looking embarrassed)
Ximen: I don’t care. I got my beloved back… (he smiled)
XY: (blushed) don’t be so mushy
Ximen: oh yeah… ur parents… hehe
XY’s mom and dad: we’ll leave you youngsters to talk. We’ll call you when dinner is ready.
Ximen: We’ll stay for another couple of days.. and fix up your registration problems. We should also have lunch or dinner with Elaine and your friends. Thanks to her, I got to talk to you!
XY: okay!

okie, this chapter kinda long..and i suddenly put the rest back in.. in the middle of Xy and Ximen crap.. but i had to.. to get it out of the way... next chapter.. XY and Ximen's comes back.. development in Mayomi's love life... Jing's wedding.. i might put them shopping in then her wedding =)
after the wedding.. the first appearance of DMS..
a lit insight into Sc and DM"S love life and problem.. then
1/2 chpater on MZ and jasmine (i haven't talked anything about the,, or i'll fit it in b4... if i can..) and then a lit bit on wing and van.. or Qing he and maddie
