The beginning of etiquette class:
Nikkie: what?I have to learn how to walk properly? What do you mean? I know how to walk, altho my mom told me I was lazy when I was young and I didn’t start walking until later.. but yeah I know how to walk.
Van: same here... I think we can skip that.
SC: what do you mean walk properly? the last time I check, I know I can walk.
Zao-zi: no,no,no... you guys have it all wrong, those are just normal walking, you 3 have to learn how to walk like a lady
Nikkie: what? We all walk the same way, guys, girls, it’s not like we fly or float.. well except for Lei..
Lei: wei… don’t drag me into this, and you really should learn…
Van: I didn't know there's a special kind of walking for ladies....geez you rich girls have it touch...i don't want to be like u!
Wing: less nagging more action.
Jasmine: here let me demonstrate (then she walked around the room a couple of times)
SC: isn’t that how I walk? (she whispered to nikkie and van)
Nikkie: I don't see any difference.. I don’t see where our problem is…
Van: perhaps we’re just blind (she said sarcastically)
SC: did you guys seriously have to learn how to walk like that?? I somehow don't believe it.
Lei: you 3 try it now.
Mayomi: wait.. they need these (she handed DMS, Lei and Wing a couple of big books.. like really thick textbooks)
Nikkie: what are those for?
Lei: here you go.. (put the book on top of her head)
Nikkie: what are you doing? You’re messing up my hair!
Lei: hush.. it’s part of the lesson!!!
Nikkie: but the books are going to make me look shorter than before...and i'm short enought already!!
Lei: quit complaining, i like u just the way u are...u don't need to be any taller...
Meanwhile...
Van: the book is so heavy, what are you doing?
Wing: don’t argue, stand still!
Van: you have no rite to order me around! I'm the one that's doing u a favor...so treat me nicer!
Wing: Fine! I'm already nice enough trying to stop my hands from reaching your neck!
DMS: eh SC, bare with me okay?
SC: I don’t want to la…my head's not flat..the book will fall off for sure
DMS: be good la..just try to keep your balance
SC: but how can i? u can't balance a person on a ball!
DMS gave her a look.
SC: um...wait..u can! n/m i forgot about the people in the circus can do tricks like that...but I'm not a circus person!!
DMS: just give it a try.. for my sake please (gives her a puppy dog face)
SC:.. gum… gumm ho la…
Mayomi: now you three, walk
The 3 of them started walking.. but..
“ bang” “bang” “bang” the 3 books fell off the girls head.
Nikkie: ouch! the book nearly hit my foot, good thing I stepped aside before it hit me!
SC: I don’t get why we need books… (she muttered)I thought they were for reading...not to put them on my head. My brain can't read books that way.
Van: sure i know i like books...but this is just ridiculous..if we keep on dropping these books...it'll damage the bindings....and they look really ancient to me..are the artifacts?
DMS: no they're not...at least i don't think so...there's too many books here..that i don't know what all of them are..besides if they break...i can replace them. So don't worry..just keep practicing!
Wing: The purpose of the books is to test if u are properly walking straight. If you guys walk properly, the book isn’t supposed to fall…
Van: I don’t see where the problem of the way I walk.. I can easily go from one location to another. Just as long as I get to places, it doesn't really matter how I arrive there rite? I don’t understand what type of idea this is..
Mayomi: trust me it’ll work, okay? I went through these classes when I was young...
Nikki: well I see ur still here.. too bad the classes didn’t kill u (she muttered)
Mayomi: what?
Nikkie: nutting..
Lei: come on keep trying (he encouraged them)
They continued walking.
Jasmine: SC ur steps are too hard.. (meaning she’s stepping too hard onto the ground)
SC: ‘sigh'
Zao-zi: Van, your steps are too big.
Van: maybe cuz I have long legs (she retorted)
Zaozi: but it doesn’t matter, take smaller steps
Van: fine fine fine…
Mayomi: “slap” (she hit nikkie’s leg with a meter stick)
Nikkie: ouch, what the hell you doing? (she screamed)
Mayomi: ur steps are all wrong..
Nikkie: well yeah sure they’re wrong, but I don’t see Zao-zi and Jasmine hitting Van or SC.. I quit!
Mayomi: that’s cuz they only have one mistake.. you have more than one, you’re walking too fast and ur steps are too big.
Nikkie: ur just being picky on me, I know you don’t like me.. why don’t u just say it!
Mayomi: I’m not… continue praticing.
Nikkie just stood there ignoring her.
Mayomi: fine then don’t pratice, let’s see who gets embrassed.. (then she left to help Zao-zi)
Zaozi: no no… ur steps are too small now.
Van: ahh what do you want? Big or small..?
Mayomi: something in the middle.
So Van walked again.
Mayomi and zaozi: ur steps are still wrong!
Van: ahh I give up!
Wing: no don’t please.
Van: but but...
Over at Jasmine’s side
Jasmine: that’s better, take smaller steps now
SC: this is so hard..
DMS: eh SC don’t give up. Please and ur doing much better than the other 2…
Sc: okay, I try la.. good thing I don’t have a deadline on this, like those 2..
Meanwhile the rest of the gang was having a blast laughing at the 3 girls mistake and seeing the fustrated faces on Zao-zi, Jasmine and Mayomi. While Lei and Wing had very animated face that ranged from surprised, hopeless, nervous pissed to sad..mad and etc
Ximen: hai.. if they continue at this rate, I don’t think they’ll be ready!
DMS: eh at least my SC just practicing with them and she doesn’t need to be rushed.
XY: wei you let SC here you say she’s urs.. she’ll go mad
MZ: hai.. they always go mad over each other doesn’t matter.
Ximen: true ture
Ximen, and MZ: ahahah
DMS: funny mei?
Ximen and MZ: yup HAHAH
Maddie: I'm sure glad, I ain’t in their shoes right now. I can imagine they must feel like strangling Lei, Wing, Jasmine and them
Yamen: but yeah if u and Qing he weren’t such blabber mouths I don’t think this whole thing is needed.
Madison: hey! It wasn’t my fault.. I was being truthful
Yamen: if u were truthful then u would have said Van and Nikkie weren’t Lei and Wing’s gf.. but u didn’t
Madison: i.. err..
Yamen: there we go, I win the argument again!
Madison: fine whatever
XY: hai.. good thing I don’t have to take these classes
Ximen: of course my XY is perfect!
MZ: eh.. stop being so mushy, getting cold!
After a while, the walking got better, but it’s still not perfect yet..
Nikkie: ho tong ah… (she pouted)
Lei: I get you ice lor..
Nikkie: it’s all ur fault!
Lei: umm I give u a lolli lor?
Nikkie: hmpf (and crossed her arms)
Van: okay i've had enough! argh! (she threw her arms up in frustration) You say I'm walking too fast, so i slowed down. So you say I'm walking too fast, so i walked faster. NO no no, you say it's in the middle...what the hell do you want?? I quit! I can't take this anymore and it's all ur fault!
Van walked to Wing slapped him to let go some of her frustration. Then she plopped down in the nearby chair with her dress fluttering around her and crossed her arms)
Nikkie: i agree (and she sat down beside her)
SC: hey it's not that bad! Think of it as doing something for someone u love. (she looked at DMS)
Van: hurmph~! that's the point I don't love him.
Nikkie: sure Lei's my friend...but this is too extreme...
Van sat down and thought for a while. Then she had a evil grin on her face. She leaned over and whispered in Nikkie's ear.
Nikkie heard Van's plan and grinned also.
Van looked at Wing and said: I'm not going to suffer this all by myself. So if you keep saying that it's not so bad. Then why don't u do it?
Nikkie looked at Lei and said: she means that if we have to wear long dresses and walk around in heels. Then you guys have to do it also.
Wing and Lei: WHAT??
Van: yup, then you will know how it feels.
SC thought for a while: hey that's not such a bad idea...(she smiled) DMS you have to do it too.
Ximen and MS laughed out loud: We can't even begin to imagine how you guys will look in dresses...hahah
Each girl dragged their guy into a room and dressed them up. Wing, Lei and DMS looked pretty silly in dresses and heels. Once they tried walking with books in their heads, it was a disaster!
The girls were having lots of fun and laughing so much that their tummies begin to hurt.
Nikkie: now u understand what we're going thru.
Van: so r u going to make us go thru that again?
SC: but don't worry guys, we'll practice till we're good with our walking cuz we don't want to embarrass ourselves and walking like how ur guys are walking! heheh
Ximen: now..(after everyone stopped laughing) we should get you guys to learn something else..
Van and Nikkie and SC: -.-‘!
Ximen: umm let’s do something more relaxing.
Nikkie: sleep! (she smiled)
DMS: eh when did you turn into Lei.. must be spending too much time with him!
Nikkie: mut ah, so tired after all the walking mah... must have lost some weight lu
Ximen: let’s teach them some table manners..
Van: uhh...
Ximen: hey you get to eat, don’t complain!
Lei: did I hear about food and eating?
SC: yes!
Lei: oh oh.. let’s go then!
Everyone sighed : pig!
Then they surrounded the table. And DMS had his servants prepare food and the eating utensils out.
They showed the girls which utensil was used to do what. While Lei was gobbling food down beside the girls.
DMS: Lei, those food are for the girls to practice the way the eat..not for you to eat..
Lei: but me very hungry, just eat some.. not all..
MZ: what do you mean some? you ate half the food on the table..!
Lei: really? But I’m still very hungry.
Rest of the people: –.-‘!
Then later..
MZ: now there’s only a couple of things left to learn.
Jasmine: you guys know how to play any instruments?
Van: I know how to play the piano.
Wing: oh you finally know how to do something!
Van: hey.. what do you mean?
Wing: well you never seem to know anything, so I’m surprised.
Van: what do you mean I never seem to know anything? according to last time I checked, I’m smarter than you and my brain cells aren’t dead like yours!
Wing: WHAT?
Jasmine: let’s not argue… how much do you know how to play?
Van: I’m in gr 9 piano… (she smiled proudly) and I know how to play a bit of flute..
Ximen: that’s good no need to worry about you.. then.. NEXT!
Nikkie: umm? Me ah? Umm I’m in gr 6 piano.. I do know a couple of tunes from gr 7 and 8…I do have to admit… umm I’m not good even if I’m in gr6..
silence.
SC: and you guys don’t ask me.. cause you all know about me..
MZ: um you guys know anything?
Nikkie: uhh.. I can figure skate? Altho I did quite a long time ago.. (hehe)
Rest: chi!
SC: no.. I can play the drums! (she smiled)
MZ: umm drums not considered an lady like instrument..
SC: well it’s the only thing I know..
Jasmine: umm why don’t we just get them to demostrate for us..?
So then Van demonstrated her excellent piano skills (altho it was kind of rusty cuz she haven’t play in a while)
Then came Nikkie's turn, well she played 2 tunes… the only 2 tunes she remembered.
Lei: umm that will do, just play those 2 in front of my parents should be fine. But I think you need some praticing…
Nikkie: what? I hate piano practice, that’s the reason why I’m only in gr 6…
Lei: -.-‘! (pov,,.. god help me…)
Then came SC’s turn.
Well we all know she can’t play piano, so they tried to figure something else.
Zao-zi: ah.. can you sing? Or can you draw? Like paint scenary? Either chinese or english types?
SC: eh.. yeah? I can paint.
Zao-zi: you can do a painting in front of Ah si’s parent to show your artistic side.
SC: um okie? But u sure it’ll work? How will they get paint and stuff at a party? it's so last minute.
DMS: ai, my family is so rich, we will have our ways to get it..
Mayomi: think we should have her give a demonstration first.
So then SC demostrated her painting skills. She did one western style painting and one chinese style painting.
Jasmine: wow, that’s just a good picture, I can’t paint like that..
MZ: eh Ah Si, looks like ur gf actually good at something besides from bickering with you!
DMS and SC: what did you just say? I didn’t ask for your comment!
Yamen: and they sound so much alike too.
Rest (except sc and dms): AHHAHAHAHA.
Mayomi: well now for the last thing.
Lei: here’s a list of words and sayings and expressions you can’t say and do.
Wing: always smile, even if you don’t want to.
Ximen: don’t yawn even if ur bored and avoid hiccups.
MZ: no swearing of any sort.
Nikkie: what? Dang.
MZ: yes thanks for your example, but the word dang is banned as well.
Ximen: and remember to don’t ask “what?” say pardon, or excuse me and always excuse yourself when you're leaving the table.
Van: aww man..this is gonna be hell.
Wing: oh that’s a saying you can’t use either..
SC: eh.. so much restrictions and also how are we.. or they at least gonna remember all this?
Wing: I don’t know, but.. just have to try and give it our best shot.
Zao-zi: and oh, you guys still need to pratice the eating and walking!
Nikkie, Van, Sc: oh no.. not again.
