Nikkie: ai you roll the dice… (gave the dice to MZ)
MZ: why me?
Nikkie: so if we lose,I blame u! HAHA
MZ; what? But you always roll the dice!
Nikkie: ai come on!=(
MZ:okay fine! ur're so mah fan!
He rolled the dice, and they ended up in jail.
Nikkie: phew!
Madison: why are you showing a sign of relief?
MZ: ai we end up in jail means we don’t have to go, cuz we don’t wanna step on Uncle's land and go in debt and lose!
Yamen: chi! Who cares? We lost and plus, you’re only relying on luck!
Nikkie: ai that’s the whole point, maybe we’re lucky today and we'll win!
Wing: dream on! Such a smart person like me lose to u?
MZ: ai she has a brilliant partner: me!
Nikkie: obviously you'll lose, you and Van couldn’t agree on a single thing!
Ximen: I think they’re progressing better than SC and ah Si tho, at least they don’t argue. Everytime ah Si tries to pay for some land, SC pulls the money back.
Madison: they sure have lotsa ‘action’! (rolling her eyes)
With Madison’s sarcasm, the couple of them had a good laugh.
DMS: ai what are you people over there laughing about?
Zao-zi: who cares about them? Continue la, I'm waiting for my turn!
Jasmine: hey you people gonna skip our turn?
Zao-zi: hurry la!
Jasmine rolled the dice, then Ryan moved the pieces. So far, the rest of the people that were left are Ryan and Jasmine, who looked like they had the best chance of beating DMC cuz Jasmine and Ryan never argued. They always talked things over and made decisions together.
Mayomi: ai DMS, do you wanna trade land? So the both of us can have a monopoly?
DMS: I don’t want that piece, I want ur other piece.. so I can have a monopoly with these lands (holding up yellow coloured cards)
SC: ai you ben dan, even if we get that yellow one, MZ and them have the other one… we have to trade with MZ first or else we go nowhere…
DMS: I know, and it’s their job to get it for us!
Zao-zi: chi~! you think we’re stupid? No way!
DMS: well then we won’t trade and you don’t get Monopoly!
Zao-zi: hmft! Fine!
(okie, Zao-zi and May has a yellow card that DMS needs, MZ and Nikkie has the other one yellow card, if DMS get both cards then he has monopoly of all the land colour coded yellow. DMS has a red one that Zao-zi and Mayomi needs plus a utility card. Zao-zi and Mayomi has a purple one that DMS also need and a utility)
(Jasmine and Ryan has a green card that MZ and Nikkie needs, but they already have monopoly of the blue land, DMC has monopoly of the orange and dark blue and pink land)
(MZ and Nikkie has 2 of the 4 railway and Ryan & Jasmine has the other 2. No one has monopoly of the utility.) (pretend there’s 4 utility cards)
The game continued.
Jasmine: hey MZ I’ll trade you ur 2 railways for the green card you need.
Ryan: come on! it’s a good deal.
Nikkie: hmmm… it’s okie…I agree..
MZ: fine then, do we get a bargain when we land on the railway?
Ryan: you pay ¾?
Nikkie: no way.. ½
Jasmine: ¾? Give or take?
Mz:… let me think first…
Ryan: come on, we don’t make a lot out of the railways whereas the land u get can make more.
Nikkie: ½ and when you land on our land you pay ¾?
Jasmine: well…
Nikkie: the point is, now it’s beneficial to both sides. Plus we won’t have anything built for a while cuz we don’t have any money, once we trade we have to give up 1.4 of our money and we're already getting poor.
Ryan: oh alright.. deal?
MZ: deal!
So then MZ and Nikkie had monolopy of the Green land and Jasmine and Ryan had monopoly of the railway.
The game continued..
SC: DMS stop wasting our money.. don’t buy that~!
DMS: ai it's last piece of land/thing on the market, we can use this to trade later and if we don’t like it then we can sell later lor, don’t be so naggy!
SC: but…
DMS: no but la, have some confidence in me.
SC: fine. (she sighed)
DMC POV: I kind of feel bad now, they all treat this as a game, but if SC and ah Si lose, I’ll have to separate them. I know I’m cruel, but sometimes you got to be cruel to be kind.
DMS: ai MZ I’ll trade with you for ur yellow one, I’ll give you my red.
MZ: I want the utility one as well.
DMS: come on buddy! Don’t make it hard on me..
MZ: well It’s a battle. It’s business. Come on, either that or no deal ..
SC: ai MZ! It’s only a game. Don’t be so serious.
Van: you know it’s the only time you 2 worked together! (she said from the side)
Wing: ai not like you, at crucial moments they work together, you're never ever helpful at all!
Van: hey watch it! you and ur stupid ideas and bad luck is the reason why we lost!
XY: ai don’t disturbe the game la! I wanna see who wins...
Ximen: ai I thought you're happy spending time with me..
XY: I am (she blushed) but I still wanna know who wins.
Madison: you 2 just let them play and don’t comment so much!
Nikkie: is the deal still on?
DMS: ai sigh! Fine! Fine fine! You get the utility as well.
MZ: thanks buddy!
Mayomi: ai don’t be so happy yet, we still have the other utility.
Nikkie: worry about urself! we already have monopoly of one set of land whereas u guys don’t!
Mayomi: but all ur do is trade! U keep giving bank ¼ of ur money, now you almost have no money left to built houses and hotels. So no there's point in monolpoly if u keep losing money.
MZ: ai the rent will still double up tho! And plus we're still in jail, so we won’t lose money landing in other people’s land!
Jasmine: can you guys stop arguing and continue?
Lalalalla….-(author) After another 20 mins…
Zao-zi: I’m sorry, my bad, I rolled a bad number. And cause us to land in Uncle’s land..
Mayomi: ai, it’s okie.
Zao-zi: sigh! that was so sad, we didn’t even get a monopoly on anything.
Once Zao-zi and Mayomi lost, their assets were on sale again. DMS and SC brought their purple and yellow land while MZ and Nikkie brought their other utility. DMS and SC used most of their money already to buy the land and hardly have any money left.
MZ: ai if we’re lucky, we might land on free parking. Then, everything will be fine.
Van: that’s what we thought when we played too, don’t count on it too much!
It’s been 2 hours.. finally Lei woke up.
Lei: yawn! Ai the game is still going on?
Madi: the pig has woken up!
Lei: hey what do you mean pig?
Madi: you just kept on sleeping. Of course you’re the pig!
Lei: ai the game is so boring. Of course I fall alseep!
Madi: yeah,yeah! excuses, excuses!
Meanwhile...
MZ: you roll this time..
Nikkie: me? (pointing at herself)
MZ: yeah you la, do I have another partner?
Nikkie: if we lose don’t blame me. (she rolled, they got out of jail but stepped on Jasmine’s and Ryan’s blue land. They payed them with all the money they have so they lost the game.)
MZ: sigh! we lost!
Nikkie: ai don’t blame me..(backing away from him)
MZ: I’m not blaming you, it's just kinda sad that it’s over!
Lei: ai such a boring game. How can you be sad that it’s over? U should be happy!
Ximen: ai there's something else that ended for him, of course our buddy is sad.
XY: ai Ximen, don’t talk rubbish la.
Ximen: hehe fine! (he gave XY a kiss)
XY: what are you doing Ximen? (she pulled back)
Ximen: ai you want me to stop talking, this is the only way..
XY blushed..then they continued to kiss again.
The game continued and soon Ryan and Jasmine who looked like they had the best chance of winning lost as well.
DMC POV: now it’s the real challege for SC and ah Si, only they are left with me in the game. I have most of the monopoly, and they have 2. If they win, maybe it’s fate. If they lose, will it be fate? Or will it be because of me? I have watched SC closely. She seems to have a bit of temper, and kind of clash with ah Si, but they try to accommodate each other as much as possible. She’s realistic and thoughful unlike ah Si who’s lackadaisical and careless.
DMS: ai good thing we land on our own land this time.
SC: ai maybe we should sell some of our land or mortgage our extra ones so we will have money…
DMC: haha, my turn now. (he rolled the dice and ended up in his own land) well ah Si and SC looks like you 2 aren’t fated to make money off of me.
DMS: ai dad, the game's not over yet, it's our turn now.
SC picked up the dice.
DMC: wait! If you 2 roll and end up landing on my land, you will sure go in debt even if u mortage ur other land and sell off ur monopoly, the upcoming set of land are the most expensive on the whole baord. If you 2 lose, the 2 of you can no longer be together.
DMS: what? (looking real shocked)
SC: uncle…… (looking real nervous)
Everyone else: Uncle…!
DMC: the decision has been made. (looking very determined)
DMZ: ba.. so mom was right, you’re up to no good.
DMC: is that how you talk to me?
DMZ: sorry ba, but... you can’t separate them now.
Lei: Uncle, you can’t use a game to determine their fate. That’s too hasty.
DMS: ba, no matter what you do.. my heart belongs to SC, I will marry no other than her.
DMC: it doesn’t matter.
SC: DMS..
MZ and Jasmine: Uncle, what you told us earlier.. isn’t.. this…??
DMS: what you guys know about this beforehand?
Wing: no, Uncle just said that this was just a gathering and a friendly game.
XY: we thought it was harmless, if we knew, we never would have agreed to play in the first place.
Zao-zi: ai, Ah si I believe in you and SC. After all the obstacles u guys still got through, it's just a game ja mah. I’m sure it won’t be that hard to conquer it.
Madison: what’s done has been done, might as well finish the game.
Nikkie: if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be, someone ought to lose and someone has to win. You can’t forfeit the game. So just roll!
Yamen: yeah just go for it! Everyone, be more optimistic!
SC picked up the dice.. DMS put his hand onto hers and gave her hand a squeeze and a reassuring smile.
SC POV: is this it? a game to decide our fate? it rather seems funny and disheartening at first, but then it came to my sense that life and love is a game... and out of it all my relationship with DMS is nothing more than like a dream and nothing more than like a game.
DMS POV: how can my dad do this? I don't care what happens! The only one I love is SC. I'll die if I have to, to be with her.
Lei POV: (closed his eyes and gave a small prayer) God please help SC and DMS, they've been through too much, I know I am SC's guardian angel and will always be there to help her and comfort her when she needs it, but at this moment I feel so useless... I can't help her. I guess in a way her future is in her own hands.
DMC POV: I'm sorry ah Si.. SC, but I have to do this. Forgive me. I must say I am touched by ah Si's friends' concern along with ah Si's true devoting feelings and love towards SC. I remember I was once like that when I was young. I am also amazed and taken aback by SC's braveness and courage. She took the dice with her hands with no trace of fear on her face. She was going to roll it while no one was watching but ah Si caught her.
Everyone else(including Lei now) POV: Ahead are mostly DMC's territory. There's a chance and treasure spot and jail. I'm very fearful for her on where they'll end up...
SC wrapped her fingers around the dice, rolled it in her hands.. and then she.. let it drop…
