Yamen was on his way to work when a limousine stopped him. Yamen was in front of the building where he works. He was approached by 2 men in dark suits.
Guy1: Mr. Yamen, my boss wants to speak to you
Yamen: I have to work.
Guy1: My boss insists that you go speak to him now, we have told your boss about ur absence from work.
Yamen: um okay, who’s your boss?
Guy2: Please follow us and you will know.
Yamen: sigh fine. I wonder who is so arrogant and persistant? Must be one of those rich people...
Guy2: yes mister? (narrowing his eyes)
Yamen: nothing.
They approached the car and Guy1 opened the door for Yamen. Yamen poked his head into the car and couldn’t believe his eyes.
Yamen:..
Person: Mr. Yamen, nice to see you. Please join me.
Yamen: um okay. (he relunctantly step in)
Person: I think you know who I am.. I am Zao-zi’s father.
Yamen: yes uncle, I recognise you.
Mr. Ho: I need to talk to you about something today.
Yamen: if it’s about me and Zao-zi. Then you don’t have to say anything, I’m not going out with her for money. I love her. Our relationship is real.
Mr. Ho: Zao-zi is not what I want to talk to you about. I have a favour to ask you today, I’ll talk to you about Zao-zi on another day.
Yamen: Oh okay uncle, I’m sorry I jumped to the conclusion. What can I do for you?
Mr. Ho: I need you to help access something for me and I’ll give you good pay.
Yamen: you mean..?
Mr. Ho: you know what I mean, with your knowledge of coding and decoding and programming it’ll be no trouble to you.
Yamen: isn’t it illegal?
Mr. Ho: no one will know, if me and you and my other workers don’t say anything.
Yamen: I don’t think it’s right.
Mr. Ho: let me put it this way. You help me, then I’ll let you be with Zao-zi, if you don’t then I will have to separate you 2.
Yamen: Mr. Ho that’s not right, I have my own morals and ethics and ways I do things and helping you do that is definetely against it. One more thing: me and Zao-zi’s love is true you can’t separate us like that. Offering money will not help.
Mr. Ho: I will give you a 3 days to think about this. Either it's your ethics and values or Zao-zi, if you love her so much then prove it and sacrafice your morals and ethics.
Yamen: yes, but I still can’t work for you, I work for Microsoft. Mr. Ho, there’s lots of people out there that will be willing to do this.
Mr. Ho: there are but you are the best one. I know you’re microsoft’s new pet. They are so fond of you and your potential. You got your master's degree and all in 4 years whereas normal people will need at least 6-7 years. You are a working student while at university and carried an 90+ average every year even during masters.
Yamen: I’m sure there’s people better than me
Mr. Ho: my mind is set. I’ll get back to you in 3 days, think about it.
With that Yamen got out of the limosine and walked a round and started to think.
