A little 5 year old girl skipped down the pavement with her pigtails bouncing up and down as she licked on her oversized lollipop, she stopped in her tracks and turned around
“Daddy hurry up” she stopped and waved at Seung RI
“Eish…. Stop going so fast, come back here you little rascal” he ordered her and she obeyed, but when she spotted a women standing at the end of the road, she ran down and opened her arms
“Mummy” she sang out and wrapped her arms around her body
“Are you disobeying your father again?” she picked her up from the floor
“Daddy is a slow poke” she sang as Seung RI caught up with her
“No you just ran down the road, why are you here Ji Ae?” he asked her
“I was working but I’m on my break now, so I thought I walk around and then I saw Eun young skipping down the pavement, so where are you off to?” she asked her
“We’re going home” she smiled cheekily and went over to Seung RI
“Yeah…. Daesung and the others are coming round to visit her” he answered in more detail
“Oh…. Well I’ll see you at home then” Ji Ae leaned over and kissed Eun young on the cheek,
[Seung RI’s P.O.V:]
I waved goodbye to Ji ae and walked down the sidewalk with Eun young in my arms, it’s been 6 years since Eun Hee left me, when she went I couldn’t live, I was devastated, I feel like everything in the world had stopped, I was tired and I was constantly blaming myself, I drank every night to take away the pain, I was useless, but then Ji Ae came back and stood by me, she brought me back to life again, she took care of everything for me, I really owe her a lot but the one thing she wants from me is the one thing that I would never be able to give her, Eun young doesn’t know anything about Eun Hee, I never told her, she’s still young, she doesn’t need to know just yet, I’ll tell her when that time comes around,
“Seung RI…. Is that you?” someone called out my name, I looked up and a figure was standing before me
“Ji yong…. Hyung…. You’re back” I widened my eyes
“Yeah… I came back last night, it’s been a long time, and how have you been?” he asked me
“I’m good….. You know about………” I still couldn’t say those words
“Yeah I heard, I’m so sorry, it’s hard to believe” he sighed
“Well are you good?” I asked him
“Yeah… I’m happy, who’s this little cutie?” Ji yong smiled and patted Eun young on the head
“Ajusshi” she smiled brightly at him
“She’s my 5 year old daughter” I told him and he looked surprised
“Oh” he spoke out
“Mummy is at work” she smiled again
“Re………..” he got cut off
“Honey…. Where did you go?” a girl appeared out of nowhere and hooked onto Ji yong’s arms
“This is my fiancé…. Park Mi young; I met her when I went back to Japan”
“Daddy….. Let’s go home” she rushed me
“Hyung want to come over, Daesung and everyone else is there” I invited
“Sure…. I haven’t seen them in a long time”
By the time we reached home, Eun young immediately ran inside and approached Daesung’s son, yeah Daesung has a 6 year old son, he got married on the same day as I did, which was 7 years ago, we both had the bestest and happiest wedding ever, it was the last thing I did for Eun Hee before she passed away, the smile she had on her face would never fade away, I’ll remember everything about her, at times I feel like she’s still around me, I miss her a lot but I have Eun young to remind me of her. Seung hyun and Keemi, well they haven’t got married but they’ve moved in together, Keemi didn’t want to get married so they decided to cohabitate instead but their love is strong, possibly stronger than a married couple, since everyone was enjoying themselves, I’ve decided to take Ji yong and Mi young to Eun Hee’s grave, but when I walked out of the door, Eun young came running out and started crying
“Daddy…. Where are you going?” she cried
“Sweetie, go play with Dae shim, Ji Ae will come back home soon, I’ll come back later” I told her but she grasped onto my shirt
“Take her with us” Ji yong told me
“I can’t….. She doesn’t know about Eun Hee being her mother, I never told her” I whispered to him
“Then tell her now, she needs to know”
Ji yong’s right I should tell her, Eun Hee went through shit loads to have her, I still thought Eun Hee having a baby in her condition was stupid, but she insisted, she wanted someone to be there for me when she leaves me, so I have to tell Eun young, I gave up in pushing her back so I lifted her up and took her out with me, she stopped crying and a smile crept onto her face, this girl is so stubborn
[End of P.O.V:]
All 4 of them made their way over to the graveyard which was 10 minutes away from Seung RI’s house, they walked further into the grave until they’ve reached a gravestone with Eun Hee’s photo on it, Seung RI put Eun young down and started wiping her photo, Ji yong grabbed onto Mi young’s hand and they both bowed in front of the grave
“Eun Hee…. I’m back, I’ve got a fiancé, so don’t worry about hurting me anymore, I’m happy now, I found that special person in my life, I love her a lot, so it’s ok now, I’m fine” Ji yong spoke out
“Daddy…. What are we doing?” Eun young nudged Seung RI
“Eun young come here, daddy has something to tell you” he pulled her over and sat her down in front of Eun Hee’s picture
“Ok” she smiled at him and looked at the photo
“This is Eun Hee, she’s the most important person in daddy’s life, and of course Eun young too, well…… I kept this secret within me for so long, you need to understand” he looked at her
“Daddy” she called out
“She’s your real mummy” he revealed
“Mummy” she looked at the picture confusingly
“Yeah…. she’s your mummy”
“Where is mummy then?” she was too young to understand
“Mummy is in another world watching over us” Ji yong chirped in
“Daddy loves mummy and Eun young loves mummy” she smiled and stood up from Seung RI’s lap, she walked over to the picture and kissed it like she was kissing Eun Hee for real
Seung RI chuckled as she kissed it, he was more relieved now that she knows about Eun Hee, Ji yong and Mi young smiled as Eun young started laughing with Seung RI, everyone was happy, Ji Ae is happy since she’s back together with Seung RI, Keemi and Seung hyun is happy cohabiting, Daesung and Seul Gi is happy together with Dae Shim by their side, Ji yong and Mi young is happy being engaged meaning everyone would be happy and healthy because Eun Hee would watch over them, and would protect them, they’ll never forget all the happiness, all the sadness, all the pain, and everything that they’ve been through together,
No one would ever forget Eun Hee, because she’s part of the memory, the memory which could never be forgotten, it’ll always be remained and REMEMBERED
