Just when they were stepping out the door, suddenly the phone rang.
Alex jumped over and picked it up. Wilson nervously stood beside him. He prayed that it would be Siu Wai.
“Police Station?” Alex yelled.
Wilson was shocked.
Alex grabbed the phone firmly, “…yes…she’s my friend and she lives here…no no no she’s not illegal immigrant!!! She’s Australian! Yes, I have her passport! Sure sure, I will come over right now! Thanks…”
“What’s wrong? Why is she in the police station?” Wilson panicked.
“I don’t know! That police officer didn’t say!” Alex grabbed Wilson, “We have to go and check on her now!”

Alex and Wilson ran up to the third floor as instructed. As they walked into the office, they saw Siu Wai sitting quietly at the corner.
“Siu Wai!” Wilson called and approached her. She curled her lips and turned away with a furious expression on her face.
Alex asked, “Excuse me! I received a phone call that my friend is being…brought back to the police station. I have her passport here: Serena Ching Siu Wai. She’s from Australia.”
“Ok.” A police in uniform took the passport from Alex and had a glance at the photo. Then he sat in front of a computer to do some checking.
“Siu Wai, what happened?” Alex asked.
“She saw our colleague on the street and reported on being robbed.” Another police officer said, “The thief yelled at her, snatched her wallet, and ran away.”
Thief?! Robbed?!
“Alright, the passport has no problem. Miss Ching, you’re just unlucky to have this happening to you on your third day in Hong Kong.” The officer saw the Customs record and even felt sorry for her.
Siu Wai did not say a word.
“So you confirmed that you’ve only lost some money, and that all your Ids, credit cards etc are all here.” The officer asked.
“Oh…yes.” Siu Wai rolled her eyes, “Just a bit of money. I didn’t lose the other things so please don’t put in your records.”
The officer closed his file, “Should be ok. You may go now. If we have any news on the thief and your wallet, we will call you. Though frankly speaking, the chance is minimal.”
“Thanks a lot!” Alex and Wilson said politely.
As they walked out the door, for some reason, Wilson felt the officer stole a look at him.
“Let’s go home now!” Wilson tried to put his hand on her shoulder but she swung him away.
They heard the police chatting in the office.
“What kind of thief is that? 6 feet tall, large body build, fairly dark skin, small eyes, tall nose, and even with glasses on?! Seems like a good-looking thief!”
“I just feel that description looks like someone…”
“Huh?” Alex wondered, “6 feet tall, large body build, fairly dark skin, small eyes, tall nose, and with glasses…isn’t that Wilson?”
Wilson stuck out his tongue, “No wonder that police looked at me with a strange expression.”
“Hope they won’t catch you and put you in jail.” Alex whispered and was afraid the police inside would hear them.
Siu Wai glared at Wilson and paced to the elevator.
“Let’s hurry and leave this place.” Wilson freaked out.

On their way back home, all three of them were extremely quiet in the car.
Alex tried to break the ice, “…Ahem…Siu Wai, you’re very smart. You didn’t have any ID and money with you. So you went to the police and pretended that you’re being robbed. That way, the police can escort you and call us to pick you up. You are not familiar with the place, and that’s the safest way to look for help.” Alex said some nice words to comfort Siu Wai.
“Yes…I agree.” Wilson added. He turned his head around to the back seat, “But Siu Wai, next time, don’t do that again. You might get into trouble for false reporting to the police…” His dull advice ruined the atmosphere again.
“You…” Siu Wai was about to blow out some fires.
“Wilson, shut up.” Alex stopped Wilson from making her angrier. This stupid guy never knew how to sweet talk to comfort his girlfriend.
Back to the Alex’s house, Siu Wai did not say a word and ran upstairs.
“Siu Wai…” Wilson panicked and stood still at the living room. He turned to Alex, “She’s so mad.”
Suddenly a little thing flew down from the upper floor and landed on the rug in the living room.
“Whoa…scary! What’s that?” Alex jumped up.
Then they saw Siu Wai running into her room and slammed the door.
Wilson stepped forward and picked it up.
Alex stuck his head over, “A stuff toy?”
It was koala guy.
“She threw it downstairs…trying to kill it!” Alex wondered, “Is this something special between you and her?”
Wilson hugged koala guy and sighed. He did not know what to do.
“Well, I guess I have to step in again.” Alex patted his shoulder and walked upstairs.
Siu Wai heard a knock at the bedroom door. She shouted, “Get lost!” As the door opened, she abruptly grabbed something from the bed and threw it over.
“Hey it’s me!” It hit Alex’s head. Fortunately it was only a soft pillow and not something else, “Don’t want to talk to me either, huh?”
Siu Wai sighed and looked down to her foot.
Alex sat down beside her at the edge of the bed, “Wilson knows his wrongs. He wants to apologize to you, but he’s afraid to come in now.”
“I hate him!” Siu Wai was very angry.
“I know he’s the bad guy this time. I scolded him and gave him an awful lesson.” Alex said.
“Go and beat him up!” The fire was still burning in her heart.
Alex rolled his eyes, “I punished him for you already. I just punched him hard on his nose.”
“What?!” Siu Wai grabbed his collar, “How can you hit him? Is he hurt badly? Oh no…” She panicked.
Alex stared at her and bursted out a naughty smile, “Hey I was just joking!”
Siu Wai felt released but also not happy about Alex’s making fun of her. Her reaction just revealed how much she cared about Wilson.
“Look how nervous you got! Siu Wai, you still care a lot about him!” Alex teased.
“I don’t know why I’m so dumb and believe you for that.” Siu Wai lowered her voice.
“It’s because you really love him.” Alex smiled patted her hand, “Have you heard of the saying that love can make a girl stupid?”
“Whatever. He’s weirdo.” Siu Wai still wanted to fight.
“Yes he is.” Alex nodded, “But that gives you a peace of mind.”
Siu Wai did not understand.
“Only you can stand his moody temper. I bet there won’t be any other girl who’ll like him. So, you are safe!” Alex laughed.
Siu Wai finally bursted out a chuckle.
“So I assume that’s ok now. You will forgive him, eh?” Alex put his hand over her shoulder.
Siu Wai bit her lips.
Alex smiled and stood up. He went to open the door and called, “Hey, come in!”
Wilson stood by the door with koala guy. Alex dragged him into the room. He pinned Wilson down to sit beside Siu Wai, “Go ahead and yell at him. Bite him if you want. I won’t help out this time!” Alex slapped Wilson’s head and left the room.
