Chapter 14

Dire Consequences.

Joo Jihoon sucked in the ember lit nicotine stick on the tip of his thin lips, leaning forward in his dimly lit apartment he stubbed out the cancer stick.
The familiar after taste of tobacco stung his lips & even after smoking for 4 years he disliked the lingering taste left behind. Picking up a half empty bottle of Heiniken he let the warm fluid gush down his throat.
“Aaah..Yuck…warm beer fuckin sucks”
“I see your taking good care of yourself big Brother” A familiar voice sounded in the shadows
The young man in turn didn’t even flinch he’d sensed her presence well at the very leat he could smell that stupid perfume she always wore “Gain-ssi, I see you’ve let yourself in just fine… How’d you get in?” he said switching on a nearby lamp, the old light flickered continuously before finally illuminating the room.

The skinny leather clad girl scoffed slightly amused “Hi, how are you? What have you been up to? I missed you” she rambled on sarcastically.
Jihoon grinned & mimicked her “Hi, How are you? What have you been up to? & How’d you get in?”
Son Gain slipped off the corner table she was sitting on “I’m fine, got a place of my own & dummy, what idiot leaves the spare key under the front carpet?” she said in almost one breath
“So you’re calling your older brother an idiot now? After I helped your ass last time” Jihoon scowled
Gain looked at the floor “About that… Thank you… I’m sorry I didn’t believe you about Taehwa.. I was wrong”
Jihoon studied his younger Sisters apologetic face “It’s good you understand you were wrong, so what happened to that dog Taehwa?”
Gain exhaled as if she’d been waiting for him to ask just that. Eager to impress she explained how she’d humiliated her less than faithful ex-beau in front of their entire college student body.
Jihoon however honestly wasn’t interested in his half sisters trivial matters he just wanted to hear her admit he was right.
He did although listen to tidbits of her story when he heard words like “Ass cheeks” & “Glue” in the same sentence.

Settling down after laughter & a quick catch up, the atmosphere went from light hearted to serious.
Gain noticed her Brother’s afflicted demeanor.
“Jihoon… what’s on your mind?”
“I ran into Jung Yunho today”.
Gain replied with a puzzled tone “Jung.. Jung who?”
“JUNG YUN-HO” he said loudly “Our Brother AKA 1 of 2 of our useless Fathers legitimate Children”
“Wow…so you actually met him huh?” Gain breathed in a low voice.
“Well not really more like bumped in to him outside in the lot… he was with his Girlfriend”
Gain eyes lit up curiously “So is ‘Our Brother’ any good looking??”
Jihoon’s face darkened “Well I’m an honest guy.. I say yeah but not better looking than me..”
“Oh yeah right that’s probably why you looked so pissed off when you got here he’s better looking isn’t he??” she teased
“Pffft spare me a laugh Gain.. anyway I got pissed off seeing that carefree little loser driving a $40,000 car into the sunset with his little gold digger girlfriend-"
“While the rest of us get zilch. I know, I know” she finished for her Brother.

If one ever wondered why Jihoon & Gain were so bitter towards Jung Youngpil, they’d be shocked to know that Jung Hyori & Jung Yunho weren’t his only children, oh no~ the respected business man had many hidden secrets.
Many Mistresses whether it be young temps in the office or his secretary’s he used than disposed of, Dodgy partnerships & hidden children he refused to acknowledge.
They went by the names of:

Joo Jihoon, Son Gain, Lee Chaerin, Kim Junsu, Jin Bora & Seo Inkook.

These 6 Young individuals knew who their Father was. Whether they were told or whether they investigated them selves wasn’t important.
The siblings sooner or later discovered each other’s existence & bonded for the sake of a good reason.
They were Family by blood & all had a similar goal within the near future.
Because Jung Youngpil was a dirty prick, a con man, a user & a minuscule excuse for a Father & a Man...

They were going to ruin him.
