CLASSROOM
MATHS LESSON:
The teacher wrote a mathematical sum on the blackboard with chalk.
Glancing around, she asked, "Who wants to do this sum?"
Meiling answered, "Teacher.. I heard that Shumin is one of the lowest in class for maths. As a good classmate, I think we should give her the chance to PRACTICE."
Meiling's group of bimbotic friends echoed similar comments.
Reluctantly, Shumin rose from her seat to the blackboard.
She stared at the question for about 5 minutes.
The female teacher began to snort, "Don't know how to do? That must be because you're so lazy."
"A-HEM!!"
Everyone turned to stare at JieLun.
"Yes, JieLun? You're hardly passing the subject yourself!" The teacher scolded.
"Maybe if you were more hardworking in teaching us..." JieLun whispered.
The teacher's face turned red. "OUT!!! OUT OF CLASS!"
Grabbing Shumin by the collar the teacher pushed her out of the door too.
"PA!!!!"
Once JieLun and Shumin were out of the classroom, the teacher slammed the door on them.
"Sheng Jing Bing. Crazy." JieLun said.
They stood on the corridor alone...
"Why did you provoke her? It's not in your character to be so outspoken," Shumin said.
"Bu Shuang Ah (not happy)," JieLun was agitated, "the way she was treating you..."
Shumin bit her lips, her heart sinking. She covered her face with her hands, "Everything is going so wrong."
JieLun smiled, "Cheer up."
She sighed.

JieLun:
I will always be here for you.

Xiao T., JieLun's sidekick in school with the shaved head, pushed a paper out the window of the classroom into the corridor.
JieLun picked it up.
"GET YOUR GIRL." It said.
JieLun laughed.
Tearing the words away, he began to fold a paper plane.
Shumin's face was crestfallen. She was aiming to do so well in her studies... Yet now she would be in the maths teacher's book of bad behaviour.
JieLun threw the paper plane across Shumin's face, catching her attention. She plucked the paper plane from the air into her hands.
"Notice the paper doesn't have anything written on it," JieLun murmured.
She looked at him, but he turned away shyly.
***
Shumin:
Is it worth failing a subject just to get a paper plane??
Suddenly it seems so..
