"Are you okay?" He asked sitting in her room.
She nod. Small teardrops falling out of her eyes.
"Time will heal you.... just like it did me.." Calvin smiled wipping the tears away.
She nod, not understanding what he's trying to say.
"Now get some sleep okay." Calvin smiled as he tucked to girl in. He for some weird reason felt like a father. But then he figure he is since he's adopting her.
Calvin went to his room and sat down. He lean back and closed his eyes. It's been a long week and he's been so stressed out lately.
Calvin's eyes snapped open and he lean forward. He grabbed his phone off the small table and dial one of his workers.
"Hello?"
"I need you to do something for me." Calvin said sternly.
"Ohh.. boss.... what can I do for you."
"I know it's late.. but could you do some reaseach for me?"
"Yeah.."
"You know the girl I'm adpoting? Give her a background check for me...."
"Okay.. I'll call you in the morning."
"Okay.. thanks."

"What?! You said that someone already adopted her?!" She scream at the worker.
"Yes... I'm so sorry. But then there are other children." She smiled, hoping she would take the offer.
"No thanks." She said walking away.
There has to be something she could do. Anything.....
"Ohh... may I know who adopted her?" She came back and ask.
"I'm sorry... but I can't give out other people's information to you."
"But...but I'm the little girl's auntie!!" She scream.
"I'm sorry... you should have claimed her."
"But..."
"Sorry."
"Here... my name is Angela Zhang." She said writing it on a piece of paper. "Here's my number... so please if you change your mind... give me a call." She said but she knew it wouldn't happen.
"Okay."
Angela walked away.
It was lunch time and the lady grabbed her purse. She walked away without turning off her computer.
Angela, who waited on the other side of the building sneaked in. She sat on the crazy lady's desk and smiled.
"Who can ever be smarter than me?" She smirk as she opened up a page. On the search bar, she typed in: Christy Zhang
The search came out to one. She smiled at she clicked it. She knew that she was only a few clicks away from what she wanted.
The page came up and it showed a picture of the little girl.
Age: 7
Gender:Female
Birth Date: 3/2/02
Anglea skimed down to the important part. Then she came to a stop at the bottom of the page.
Adopted Family:
Calvin Chen
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Birth Date: 5/27/1985
Status: Single
Angela couldn't help but wonder what a single man would do with a little girl. She noticed how young he was also. Too bad there wasn't a picture of him on file.
Angela skipped down some more and then found what she wanted.
She grabbed a pen off the lady's desk and snatched a white piece of paper off the printer. She copied down the address and smiled.
Anglea quickly close the page and ran for her life. She stuff the paper in her bag and ran without looking back.
