There he was standing besides her table, waiting for an answer. She was speechless. She has never had a boyfriend before, and the biggest player in her school wants her? She couldn't make up her mind, to have a first date? or to wait till the right one comes.
"well?" he interuppted her thoughts.
"oh!...um..." she saw Seungri come back.
"sure whatever!" she pushed YoungBae away from her table.
Youngbae walked to his table.
"who was that?" SeungRi asked.
"oh some dude asked me out." She said.
"What?!" he yelled,"what did you say?"
"sure whatever." then she thought about what she said and gasped.
"You said YES?" he said.
"um...yeah kinda." her finger tips on her mouth.
"who was it?" he asked.
"um..that dude...right there." she pointed at YoungBae.
"WHAT?!" he yelled again.
"what whats wrong?" she said.
"he's the biggest player in this school!"
"i know."
"why did he want to date YOU?" he asked.
"WHY?!" she yelled.
"oh...um...nothing."
She glared at him.
"i'm done." she took up her tray and threw it away.
Lunch was over. Everyone went to their next hour. The day was finally over and it was time to go.
"Seungri!" Yoobin yelled at the figure.
"Yoobin-ah, sorry but my sister came to pick me up from school, could you walk alone?" he asked.
"of course!" she said.
He ran back outside and got in the car and they left.
"huh. another day walking without Seungri." she got out the building. All the students were running out the building and meeting with their friends.
"I wish Sunmi was here. But she goes to a different school." she said to herself.
Then she spotted Youngbae standing at the gate.
"What is he still doing here?" she whispered.
She took out a book and stuffed her face in it. She carefully walked and tried to avoid him.
'don't look over here! don't look over here!' she thought.
Without seeing anything she accidentlly bumped into someone.
"Going somewhere?" the voice of Youngbae said.
"Oh!! the guy from earlier." she said nervously.
"yeah."
"so....?"
"when are we going out?" he asked.
"i don't know."
"How bout' i walk you home and we'll discuss?" he said.
"sure." she said.
They started walking the route to her house.
"So how about tomorrow?" he suggested.
"tomorrows okay...i guess." she said.
"what do you want to do?" he asked.
She shrugged.
"How about....hm..skating?" he said.
"sure. That sounds fun."
"okay...oh and would you look pretty for me?" he asked.
She looked at him.
"oh um sorry. I didn't really think that would offend you." he said.
"oh it's okay. I get it a lot." she looked down.
There was a silent moment.
"Oh this is my stop." she said.
He looked at her house, it was pretty average, though he expected something bigger.
"Bye! see you tomorrow!" he waved.
"yeh!" she waved back.
He walked off, and she inside her house.
"Umma!" she yelled.
"Oh honey are you home?" Her mom's response.
"NEH!" she took off her shoes and ran into the kitchen.
"welcome home." her mom greeted.
"yeah."
Her mom was cooking. It was only 4:30 and her dad doesn't come until 8:30.
"go and do your homework." her mom told her.
"I already finished at school." She sat on the chair.
"Oh really? my good girl."
"Do you need help?" Yoobin offered.
"no i'm alright."
"okay." Yoobin got up and went to the living room.
She took the phone and called her cousin Yeeun.
"Yebosayo?" She answered.
"Yeeunie?"She said.
"Yes. What's up?" she asked.
"Come over." she said.
"Um okay."
About 3 minutes later the doorbell rang.
"Yoobin! get it!" her mom yelled.
"Yes!" she got up and headed to the door.
"Yoobin!" Yeeun yelled and hugged her cousin.
"HI!"
Yeeun lived right next door with her parents. After a little while they got more comfortable Yeeun started a conversation.
"So what did you call me for?" Yeeun asked.
"Something..." Yoobin got up and leaded Yeeun into her bedroom. She locked the door behind her.
"Yeeunie....I have a...a...boyfriend." she said.
"Really?!!" She yelled.
"SHHHHHH!, my mom might hear!!" she whispered.
"Oh!" Yeeun covered her mouth.
They sat on her bed.
"So tell me everything about him." Yeeun said.
"okay...he's cute, he's musculiar, he's handsome..."
"and??"
"he's the biggest player in our school." She continued.
"WHAT?!!" Yeeun yelled.
"yeah..."
"so what did you do?"
"i took a chance." she said.
"So you are a new member in this game?" she said.
"I guess I don't know?"
"Yes you are. I'm gonna help you win this game kim Yoobin!!"
"yes. thank you."
"First you need a major makeover." Yeeun said.
Yeeun knew everything about style, hair, and makeup.She was a girly girl.
"Hm what time is it?" She checked her watch.
"5:00 we still have time! the mall closes at 7! C'mon!" She took Yoobin's hand and they ran for it.
"UNNIE! WE'RE GOING TO THE MALL!! BYE!" Yeeun yelled as they passed the kitchen.
"My Yoobinnie's all grown up." She shook her head.
They got into a taxi.
"Yeeun I don't even have any money to buy things!" Yoobin said.
"I have money." She said.
"What? You work now?"Yoobin asked.
"Ani. Appa sends me and mom more money than we need. And i saved up."
"Ah."
Yeeun's family was rich, but her mom wanted to help out with Yoobin's family so she decided to stay, and Yeeun stayed with her. Her mom and Yoobin's mom are sister's. They sometimes help pay the rent and buy food. Kim family really appreciates it. So then every since Yoobin and Yeeun were best friends.
"Here we are!!" Yeeun stretched out of the taxi.
"Wow! it's so HUGE!" Yoobin said.
