“Mr Ron Ng, can you please help us identify some precautions against thieves?” a reporter at the conference asked.
Reporters were pressing their cameras and the media crew was taking down the whole conference. Ron Ng, a successful senior police officer in Oracle, a region of the country named Belief, has once again cracked another case, nabbing an organization which actually trained young rebellious teenagers into thieves.
“Well, the main precaution will be everyone must really take responsibility for your own properties. Never give the crime seekers a chance to make you the prey, you have to protect your property and of course, yourself. Do not panic and do not leave your belongings unattended. When you have realised that your belongings are stolen, please move to the nearest police station and seek for help. That reminds me. All of you can remember to always keep your handphones and wallets in your pocket. If you think it is troublesome, a handphone will do. In any case, you may choose to chase after the thief, you can call the police as you run. For females with heels, you can try to use the heels to hit the thief first, with that, you will also find it easier running barefooted.” Ron gave a charming smile as the reporters laughed.
“Do any of you have any more questions?” Ron’s superior, the chief police officer, Mr Moses Chan, asked.
A male reported raised up his hand. “Recently, near Desiderata Street in Oracle, there have been a few cases of theft as well. Most of the victims are males and it is rumoured that the thief is actually a female and that despite having committed many thefts, she has been able to escape from the laws. I want to ask Mr Ng about his views on this case and what actions he is planning to take.” The male reporter then sat down.
“Good question, this mister has surely updated most of us here about the recent thefts happening in Desiderata Street. The rumour is actually a fact. The thief is a female, but unfortunately, the police force has not gathered sufficient information about who she is. All the victims have different descriptions of how she looks like, though they all only knew that the thief is a she. So to all the males out there, especially those living within the area of Desiderata Street; please be wary of beautiful or attractive females pouncing upon you, you may just be the next sad prey of our greedy female thief. The police force always requires assistance from the citizens, so if anyone of you are witnesses to the thefts or have some information to provide, please contact us. We are definitely trying our best. Sorry to the mister, we cannot reveal much about our planned actions. Thank you.” Mr Ron Ng once again ended his speech beautifully.
The conference soon ended and Moses gave Ron a pat on his back, indicating that he has done a great job again. Ron just let out a sigh of relief. The hard work has been worth it. After so many sleepless nights, they finally captured the incorrigible organization. Justice has prevailed. Back in his office later, his team was cheering for him and he has also promised them a dinner treat. He also called his good friend, Myolie, who is another police officer in the Narcotics department, to join them. “Finally.” Ron thought as he allowed his eyes to close in.

Leila switched off her television in her cozy small apartment, on Desiderata Street. “So to all the males out there, especially those living within the area of Desiderata Street; please be wary of beautiful or attractive females pouncing upon you, you may just be the next sad prey of our greedy female thief.” She thought about Ron Ng’s advice and laughed.
“Greedy?” Leila thought. “Not really but beautiful? Definitely.” Leila then looked at her reflection in the mirror and gives her best seductive smile and an adorable wink. Her white plain sleeveless shirt and her pink mini skirt showed her figure and portrayed her as a vibrant lady. With a ponytail, she looks like a good citizen who abides by the laws of the country and she was just going out to have some fun. “Perfect.” Leila commented about herself. She then checked through her bag which contains all the necessary tools and walked out of her apartment.
“Hi Leila,” Raymond Lam, Leila’s neighbour greeted. He has been neighbours with Leila for a few months and that was all the time needed for him to fall in love with this hot chick. “Are you going to work?” he asked. Obviously he had no idea of her being the infamous thief just reported on the news.
“No, Ray. I am just going to take a walk.” Leila replied and thought, “And to find some stupid men for their money.” Giving a mesmerizing smile, Leila then excused herself and left.
Raymond just remained standing in the corridor, dazed by Leila’s beauty. “One day, she will be my girl and we will be the luckiest and the most compatible couple in the world.” Raymond thought, with much determination.
“One day I will steal his money and his clothes away. I will sell his clothes and maybe his watch too and get more money.” Leila said to herself in the lift. Raymond, her neighbour, was actually a rich rebellious man, who moved out just to anger his parents and to force them to cut off his engagement with another rich lady, from what she has heard. Leila has already checked on his background. Furthermore, he was always wearing branded clothes and shoes and everything. “One day, I am going to get all that.” Leila smiled to herself proudly and walked out of the lift in a haughty manner as she put on her pink sunglasses. She also added a little mole on her chin.
Afterall, she was Leila Tong, the attractive and smart thief. In addition, she knows and makes sure that she would never give the police a chance to put her behind the bars.
