Leila tossed in bed. Her hands felt itchy and her bad habit of stealing was haunting. However, she did not have the mood and energy to steal anymore, after talking to Ron. She found herself weird. It had only been a short time but she had fallen in love with him without knowing it. She turned to scrutinise her watch. “Destined lovers, are we? How can we be, when we are on such opposing poles? You stand for justice, while, I stand for sins. Justice and sins are never complementary in a positive way. It is either justice prevails or the sins get to have the upper hand.”
Then she heard some knocks.
She dragged herself up from her bed to answer the door.
“Hey, Raymond!” Leila greeted chirpily. Afterall, Raymond’s wealth was still too much for Leila. She was still tempted by it.
“I have brought you some gifts I bought for you from Korea. I hope you will like them!” Raymond grinned.
Leila felt pampered and touched. Throughout her growing years, she had never felt as blessed as then. She did not even receive birthday gifts from anyone before. She invited Raymond in. Leila found herself amazing as she had become more appreciative. However, she knew she had good feelings towards Raymond since he had been behaving gentlemanly.
Raymond and Leila began to indulge themselves in a casual conversation A closer bond was established between the two of them now.

Ron rummaged his bag, trying to find one of the receipts for his earphones. His earphones were not working properly even though it was newly bought. “Where is the receipt?” He tried to retrace where he had gone to and where he could have possibly left the receipt.
Then he received a call from Myolie. She asked him out for breakfast and then they could go to work together.
“Forget it. I shall buy a new pair of earphones then.” Ron gave up and went to dress himself to meet Myolie. He had never suspected that someone would steal his receipt just to attract his suspicion.
Ron then met Myolie.
“Hey, how are you these days? I seldom chat with you and was curious about your developments.” Myolie tried to speak casually. In actual fact, she had missed the usual Ron who would chat with her everyday and told her to continue her good work. However, Ron had not been there for her for these few days and his absence in Myolie’s life bothered Myolie. Myolie, all the more, felt disturbed when Alex and colleagues told her that Ron had been in a good mood these days though he had been keeping silent.
Ron merely replied that he was fine and dug into his breakfast.
“Ron, are you really alright? We have not been talking for days and you seemed so distant …” Myolie’s voice trailed off.
Ron once again felt guilty and sorry towards Myolie. He had not been taking notice of Myolie ever since his mind had been preoccupied with Leila, Angel and their conversations.
“I am sorry. I have been just too involved in trying to solve the theft cases. Lunch is one me then,” Ron managed to smile cheerfully at Myolie. He knew she cared for him, and that she loved him, but to him, she was really a good friend whom he never thought of hurting. He had been maintaining the balance in their relationship such that he would not lead Myolie into being too hopeful about starting a love affair with him.
Myolie felt satisfied and jubilant at Ron’s offer. “Sure,” Myolie smiled sweetly. Even the bitter black coffee without sugar tasted as sweet as honey to her.

Leila and Raymond went out for lunch, at Luck Cafe. They were enjoying their lunches happily when Raymond received a phone call and had to leave again. Afterall, he had been back from holidays and his business needed some maintenance and checking.
Leila sat in Luck Cafe, stirring her milk tea, recalling about the conversations and developments in the relationship shared between Ron and she.
Ron and Myolie stepped into Luck Cafe. Ron had chosen to have lunch back at the same cafe Leila and he had talked previously. He just wanted to feel bonded to Leila.
Myolie excitedly linked arms with Ron and Ron did not refuse her. Ron then led Myolie to take a seat. They ordered and began savouring the food.
“Haha, dirty cat.” Myolie used a tissue and wiped off the excess sauce near Ron’s lips. Ron returned a smile embarrassingly.
Leila watched them and felt increasing anger within her.
“To think I curb my stealing urge for you. I thought by doing it, we could have more chances together. Looks like I am wrong.” Leila stormed off from the side exit. She wanted to steal, to satisfy her desire and also in anger.
“It is okay, Myolie. You can just tell me. I will do it myself.” Ron sheepishly smiled again and lifted a tissue paper to clean his lips again. His thoughts drifted to Leila and he imagined how wonderful it would be if Leila was the one helping him to clean his lips. He also wondered how he would have react if it was Angel. Even though they were the same person, they still behaved like two different individuals. Ron smiled to himself.
Myolie eyed Ron suspiciously, wondering the reason behind his smile to himself. She paused to think and thought that maybe she had a chance to open Ron’s heart. She too smiled, exploring the possibilities of Ron being with her in the future in her mind.
Both of them were immersed in their joyful labyrinth of thoughts.
