“Sir, two other males have reported that their money had been stolen in Desiderata.” Alex reported, holding the statements of the two male victims.
“The difference was that both of them had totally no idea who the thief could be. They said they had gotten into contact with too many people then.” Alex continued.
“There is a possible lead though, Sir. The accessories shop where one of the men was shopping was super crowded then. The man suggested that his money might have been stolen there.” Nixon bit his sandwich.
“Let’s go!” Ron and his team set off to the shop.
-
Meanwhile, Leila bumped into Raymond as she went out to clear her rubbish.
“Even in a normal T-shirt and shorts, she still can look so hot!” Raymond thought and greeted Leila with a casual smile.
“I didn’t know you have a second name of Angel.” Raymond continued their conversation.
“Keep it secret, will you? Let it be our dirty little secret.” Leila purred seductively in Raymond’s ears.
“I will keep our dirty secret if you do me three favours.” Raymond argued.
“Sure,” Leila agreed without any hesitation as the last thing she needed was to get suspected. If her two identities were exposed, fans and Ron Ng would find their ways to her. That would spell trouble.
“First favour, join me in my house and …” Raymond crashed his lips onto Leila’s, while pulling Leila into his house.
“Great way to start a morning,” Leila thought. “Great opportunity to earn some profits too,” Leila drew Raymond into a more passionate kiss.
-
“Good morning, can we ask you some questions?” Nixon politely flashed out his identity card as a policeman and started recording the statement of the salesgirl. May did the same with the cashier.
Ron and Alex went to view the recording tape of the shop on that particular day.
“The shop is really super crowded!” Alex commented unnecessarily but Ron agreed with him totally.
“The crowd means a fine chance for theft and also a higher probability of safe escape.” Ron expressed his thoughts.
The two of them then glued their eyes to the screen.
“Pause,” Ron ordered, pointing at the screen.
“Do you see any suspicious people here?” Alex asked, trying his best to catch any suspects in the screen. However, he could see none as the shop was seriously too crowded.
“Try to increase the magnification of this video. There are three probable suspects but I cannot clearly see their faces.” Ron mentioned.
After doing what he was told, Alex stared at the screen. There were three females nearest to the man who was holding his black bag, which was zipped. One of them was the salesgirl herself, another was a lady with a pink top and the last lady was wearing a red watch.
Alex then fast-forwarded the tape and made the video to be shown in slow motion. The lady with the pink top and the lady with a red watch were moving closer to the man. Then, both Ron and Alex noticed that the black bag was unzipped and a hand was inside. However, due to the crowd, both of them could not clearly identity whose hand it was.
“We have only one choice. Find out the appearances of these two ladies and get them into the police station,” Ron commanded.

“Raymond …” Leila purred.
Raymond’s lips were moving down Leila’s neck; the two of them were being intimate on the sofa. Leila’s hands were grabbing the branded pens on the table beside the sofa.
“These pens are expensive. I bet they will fetch good prices.” Leila thought. Somehow, she was not irritated by Raymond’s kiss. Instead, she found herself enjoying it. Afterall, she could feel that Raymond was not after her body. This was the first time; she felt love from a man, instead of lust. Leila appreciated that.
“Yes? My dearest,” Raymond replied, scaring Leila and causing her to quickly tuck the pens into her pockets.
“You didn’t finish telling me about my first task.” Leila pinched Raymond’s cheeks naughtily.
“First favour, join me in my house and … Stay with me tonight,” Raymond hugged Leila tightly. “Never will I let go of her. I will never let go of my most precious love again. Never!” Raymond thought as memories of the past began playing in his mind. The feelings of loss and pain bit him, throwing him back into an emotional turmoil.
“Leila, I love you. I really do.” Raymond kissed Leila again.
“However, I need to get changed. You should too as we are going out for a sumptuous lunch soon. My treat,” Raymond then hurriedly went into his room, to escape from seeing Leila and facing his past memories, as well as to really get changed. Breathing hard and lying on his door, Raymond shut his eyes tight. He did not want to recall any part of his past. Afterall, he had moved out, away from his parents, to avoid his past too.
Leila took this chance and scanned around Raymond’s house. She managed to take some money and accessories without Raymond’s permission.
Then, she wrote a note and went back to her own house with her loot. She was pleased with herself.
“This is so exciting. In addition, he confessed. He is such an adorable guy. A gullible young man who is filthy rich,” Leila’s eyes sparkled with mischief. She then licked her lips as she thought about the sumptuous lunch. She was hungry.

“I am sorry, Sir. We could not get a clear image of both women. The angles are just not right. We tried our best. The information we can provide is that both of them are just in their mid-twenties and that we figured that the lady in the pink top is closer to the man. The lady with the red watch was scratching her head or combing her hair at that time, which means she only has one free hand. That suggests a lower probability of her committing the theft. Also, she was behind the man. It would be harder for her to unzip the black bag he was holding as most likely, she would have come into physical contact with the man.” Alex finished reporting.
“Both the statements proved to be of no use as both the salesgirl and the cashier could not provide any significant details.” Nixon shook his head.
“The cashier wasted my time as she keeps harping on how a lady has praised her for being an efficient worker.” May complained while her three other male colleagues chuckled.
“Looks like it is a dead end again,” Nixon sighed.
“Never give up!” Once again, the familiar voice rang out.
“Lady Boss!” Ron’s subordinates greeted again while Ron shook his head.
“Most likely, this thief is a skilled one who knows how to deal with all the angles and people. You guys are the best in solving all these cases, so just try harder! No thief is capable of fooling all of you!” Myolie encouraged them.
“Alright, let’s just start with two ways. Nixon and May, the two of you shall start patrolling around all the crowded places in Desiderata for this week. Alex, you will go with me to check out who are the people who bought the exact pink shirt and the red watch.” Ron arranged.
“But Sir, red watches and pink shirts are so common.” Alex stated a clear fact.
Ron gave him a hard stare.
“Yes Sir!” Alex saluted.
