The Puzzle [COMPLETED]

Chapter 2

Eunhyuk pulled back quickly and stared at Donghae.

Donghae stared back, unsure of what just happened.

"I-I..." Eunhyuk sputtered and looked over Donghae's shoulder.
The train station lay directly behind them. "Uh-uh were here." Eunhyuk pointed behind Donghae.

Donghae nodded. "Yeah..." He said with apathy.

Eunhyuk gulped and turned around.
"See you at school." He yelled back.

Donghae stood frozen.
Something over came him.
A new feeling surged through his body.
Like a brick wall, it hit him.
This feeling some say occurs once in a lifetime had finally met Donghae.
The feeling of love.

Eunhyuk hurried back home.
His mind was blank, like a black abyss.
He brought his index finger to his lips.
They were soft and warm.
They tingled a little bit.
He never had that feeling before.
The feeling of someone's lips on his own.
The feeling of a kiss.

-

Eunhyuk grabbed his book bag and the school coat.
He took another quick look at the puzzle.
The bright fireworks took him away to another place.
A place where he felt at ease with life.
A place where he could forget all about his problems.
A place where he could forget his past.
A place where he could be with him.
A place he wished to visit again.

Donghae grabbed his book bag and a small box.
He hadn't slept all night.
When he returned home his father asked where he had been.
Donghae didn't reply.
He couldn't.
He couldn't open his mouth to speak.
This feeling was just to strong for him to do anything.
He was to weak to overcome this feeling.
This feeling he felt for only one, Eunhyuk.

-
[at school]

Eunhyuk held onto the school coat for dear life.
The smell was so pleasing and subtle.
It brought him to that place.
Eunhyuk inhaled his scent one more time before going into the building.
For some reason he was expecting everything to be different.
Like the kiss he shared with Donghae would have changed the school.
He didn't know how, but he expected it to.
It didn't.
Everything was the same.
Everyone was the same.
Nothing changed.

Donghae pulled up to the school and parked in his spot like he always did.
Sophia met him at the front of the doors.
She tangled her arm in his.
Donghae looked down at her.
Who are you?
Why are you on my arm?
Yah, can you here me?
This is Eunhyuk's arm.
Donghae couldn't stop thinking about Eunhyuk.
He couldn't stop feeling Eunhyuk's lips on his.
It felt so right, but Donghae knew it was so wrong.
It was just a kiss.
It was just a kiss.
It was just a kiss.
It was just.....nothing.

"Donghae~" Sophia tugged on her boyfriend's arm.

Donghae looked at her. "What?" He said coldly.

She pouted. "Where's your school coat?"

Donghae looked down at his arms. The pale blue shirt is what he saw.
School coat?
School coat.
Eunhyuk.
Eunhyuk has my school coat.
"OH!" Donghae said, realizing Eunhyuk had his school coat. It was the first thing to come out of his mouth since the kiss. "Cleaners..." He lied.

"Yeah I would want mine cleaned to after going that flea house." Sophia laughed and waited for Donghae's chuckle. When it didn't come she looked up at her boy toy. He was staring at her coldly.

"What?!" He snapped.

Sophia rolled her eyes and let go of her boyfriend's arm. "Jeez, someone isn't a good mood..." She said smugly and walked away from Donghae.

Donghae watched his girlfriend disappear into the school's cafeteria. He debated following her, but opted out. He didn't need to be her lap dog.

Eunhyuk walked down the hall of kids unnoticed.
Its how he always walked down the hall.
No one knew him.
No one bothered knowing him.
No one would ever know him.
He was invisible.
He was just another speck on the planet.
He was nobody.

Donghae walked down the hall of kids and saw him clenching onto the school coat.
His eyes were fixed ahead of him.
Kids brushed past him.
They would bump shoulders, but not apologize.
What was the point? He was nobody.
"Eun-" Donghae's voice croaked. "Eunhyuk!" He called out.

Eunhyuk stopped.
Someone was calling his name.
Someone in the school actually knew his name?
Eunhyuk looked around and saw Donghae.
He froze and blinked twice.
It was just a mirage, right?

"Eunhyuk!" Donghae jogged towards Eunhyuk.

"Donghae..." Eunhyuk looked down at the school coat in his hands. "Here I forgot I was wearing it yesterday when I left..." He held out Donghae's school coat in front of him.

Donghae placed his hands on Eunhyuk's.
He needed to feel Eunhyuk again.
"Thank you." Donghae took the coat and put it on.
It was warm and felt like Eunhyuk.

"I brought another puzzle for you." Donghae pulled his book bag around him and pulled out the small box. He handed it to Eunhyuk.

On the front of the box were landmarks from all over the world.
The Statue of Liberty.
The Eiffel Tower.
Tokyo Tower.
Stonhenge.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa.
And many other famous landmarks.

Eunhyuk looked down at the puzzle's cover.
A knot formed in the back of his throat.
His eyes started to leak.
His body trembled.
"Th-" Eunhyuk stuttered. "Th-thank you."
He quickly wiped the tears and sniffled.

"Can I help you put it together?" Donghae asked.

Eunhyuk looked up at Donghae. He was somewhat surprised by his words.
"Uh yeah. Sure." Eunhyuk nodded.

"Okay, at my house?" Donghae asked.

Eunhyuk nodded. "Sure!"
