She was sitting in her hospital room waiting patiently when a nurse from the nursery rushed into her room, saying "I'm sorry, Ms. Tian..... *gasp* But you can't take your daughter home today...*gasp*" as she tried to get a hold of her breath.
Scared, HEbe's face immediately paled as she grabbed a hold of one of the nurse's pale flawless hand into her's and asked anxiously in between sobs "Why? Why can't I take my daughter home? She's mine! She belongs to me..! and no one else...".
Soon Hebe's cries turned into loud hiccups.
Placing a calming hand over Hebe's unsteadily shaking hands carefully, the nurse said soothingly "I know. I know.", but seeing that Hebe's sobs and hiccups did not stop completely, the nurse continued in a more frantic but affirmative voice "We all know that she is all your, but the reason we can't let you take her home right now is because your daughter has suddenly spiked a really high fever and needs immediate medical attention right now to reduce it and make sure her brain won't suffer any future brain damage. So we beg you to cooperate with us by trying to wait patiently for another day before bringing your beautiful little daughter home. You don't want anything to happen to her right?"
At Hebe's slight nod, the nurse asked "Do you want to go see your daughter now?"
Hebe nodded once more and the nurse helped Hebe up from the bed and out into the hallway.
They came to a stop in front of the nursery, where Hebe's little daughter was crying loudly as she got the necessary treatments from the doctors.
Seeing her daughter in such agony and pain, Hebe's heart clenched tightly and shattered into millions and millions of tiny little pieces as blades and blades of arrows poked through her heart in waves and made her heart bleed in tiny pools of bloody torture.
The nurse didn't like seeing Hebe in such pain, so she placed a gentle hand on Hebe's shoulder and tried to help by explaining, so she said "The doctors are all trying to do their best to help her right now. The bucket they are placing your daughter in right now is an ice cold bucket of water that is going to help your daughter reduce her fever and afterward they are going to run some tests to see if anything was wrong that caused the fever or if it was just a common run of the flu or something."
Hebe flinched and shivered a little at hearing that there might be other complications for her young precious daughter.
The nurse felt Hebe's flinch and shiver and said in a hurry "More than likely, it's only a common fever." and patted Hebe's shoulder "Don't worry so much. Your daughter will be alright. We have some great doctors in there helping your little girl right now."
Hebe calmed down a little more after hearing the some-what detailed explanation, but she still couldn't help but to pace back and worth on the carpeted hallway leading to the nursery to show her nervousness.
While she was pacing back and forth, she kept murmuring to herself "Please be alright. Please be alright, baby. Nothing can happen to Mommy's little precious baby daughter. Mommy is going to sit down right now and wait for you to come out. You must welcome Mommy with welcoming hands when you come out. Remember you are Mommy's precious little gift from heaven and .................. your daddy's, too. Nothing can happen to you or Mommy won't know what to do for the rest of my life, so pleaseee....... be alright...... my little babyyyyyyy...." and a silent glistening tear ran down her pale porcelain face and down to her small curvy flawless chin before dripping slowly down.

I'm sorry that I have been so busy recently, but it seems like not as many people are reading. Maybe I was wrong is assuming the cast might make a difference. Anyway I'll try to update again soon.
