Soon the plane landed without a single problem.
As the plane came to a full complete stop, Wang Zi hurriedly zoomed out of the plane and into the comfortable tension-free air of the airport.
Gathering all his items, he went out into the cold rainy weather.
Frantically, he tried to flagged down a taxi to no avail.
He paced back and forth debating if he should just walk all the way to the hospital or make a run for it, but slowly a car came into view and stopped right in front of him.
Desperate for anything that will take him to his best friend’s, Arron, side, he waved to the car.
The driver scrolled down the window and looked at Wang Zi with a frown.
Surprised that it was Gui Gui’s car, Wang Zi’s fingers quickly released the car’s door handle as he took a few steps backward.
Gui Gui’s heart squeezed and broke as she was not able to resist the sight of Wang Zi retreating from her so fast.
After calming down her crying heart, she flippantly asked without any further prompt of politeness as Wang Zi was about to leave “Hey! Where are you headed to in this rain without a ride?”
Swirling his back to face her, he walked back to her car and said urgently “I need to head towards the hospital.”, when he figured out that she was not going to be mean to him just yet.
Surprise was clearly etched into Gui Gui’s normally bright smiling face.
Carefully she debated in her mind about what she wanted to do.
Finally after spending what seemed to be a few hours long of thinking, she reached over to open the door and opened her mouth to say “Come in. I’ll give you a ride. Don’t stay standing in the pouring rain. You might catch a cold.”
Wang Zi was thinking over about getting into her car, when she continued on “By the way, when you get in the car, do not look in the back seat.”
Unsure what to do, Wang Zi had no choice but to nod in agreement.
He got into the passenger seat and sat rigidly straight in the seat though the car was a really comfortable minivan.
Inside the car, only a long pregnant silence can be heard beside the loud steady ‘plop, plop’ of the rain.
So as Wang Zi sat in the silence, he decided not to waste time and spent the time thinking about now and the past.
He still wondered why Gui Gui will do such a thing to Arron and Hebe, and why she will choose to get such an old minivan for families, when her family could surely have gotten her any car she liked or wanted every month, like the newest edition sports car.
Everything still didn't make sense to him.
Soon they arrived at the hospital, where Wang Zi said a quick thanks and hurried off.
Walking slower behind, Gui Gui also disappeared into the hospital seriously, hoping he kept to his promise.

Wow! Did I update too early or too late and no one found my new chapter or what? Surprisingly only one comment. Anyway it's okay, I'll keep on updating. For those that are curious or wondering, I might start another story soon.
