Taking a huge sigh, Doctor Ren went over to the television and inserted the tape in before going over to sit next to his sister and placed an arm around her.
Slowly in front of them, the scene of the hospital started to unfold before their eyes.
In front of them on the television screen, the scene switched from just a quiet hallway of the hospital to a hospital hallway featuring a veiled pregnant woman in purple dress.
The veiled woman in purple seem to be just standing there, but soon it showed from behind that she was peeking out into the other hallway.
The scene shifted again and this time it showed the face of the woman.
Jiro and Selina both gasped aloud in utter shock.
It was....... Genie.
Jiro and Selina turned to look at each other and their eyes locked.
Selina's eyes featured the characteristic of unbelievable fear.
Seeing her so afraid, Jiro wanted to put his arms around her, but a warning glare from Doctor Ren backed him off.
Doctor Ren pause the tape and couldn't help but to ask "Do you two know that lady? That despicable woman! Who is she?"
Selina quivered as she responded to her angry brother "That's.... that's Jiro's wife. Her name is Genie."
With that she burst into tears.
While Doctor Ren tried to calm down the crying Selina, Jiro went to gather his son into his arms and asked the lady to watch over him.
Returning back into Selina's hospital room without his son, Jiro took a seat and made himself finish watching the tape.
He seriously couldn't believe his eyes, when he saw that it was really Genie that pushed the gurney even after knowing full well that there were many people right around the hallway.
Though he also didn't know why she would want to do such a terrible thing like hurting Selina.
Needing to know the whole truth behind this, he slipped out of Selina's hospital room and went to call his wife.
At the first ring of her cell phone, Genie answered.
She smiled when she saw her husband's name written on the display screen.
"Hi." she answered back ever so sweetly.
Annoyed, Jiro demanded in an ice cold voice "Where are you?!"
Trying to ignore her husband's fierce tone, she replied "At home. Where else could a pregnant lady like me be at?"
Jiro was really angered that he could have been so blinded and stupid to believe in her that he just shut off his phone without another word.
On uncertain feet, he walked back into Selina's room after taking a glance out the hallway's windows to make sure his son was still playing outside with the lady.
As he was about to walk back into Selina's room, he saw a flash of purple, exactly the same shade as Genie's dress on television earlier.
He followed the flash of purple out and before he knew it, he realized that it was heading towards Jacob Matthew.
Without wasting a single second, he dashed towards his son, only beating her to it by a few seconds.
He shielded his son, but was stabbed in the back.
Horrified, Genie began crying in hysterical as she ran around crazily.
The police caught her just before Jiro slipped into a world of dark unconsciousness.
He fell to the floor and was rushed into the emergency room.
Words of what have happened between Jiro and Genie was quickly brought to Doctor Ren and Selina.
Anxiously with her brother's help, Selina made her way to Jiro.
Crying she repeatedly paced the tiled hospital’s hallway floor, praying “Do not let him die. Do not let him die. I love him too much. I love him. I love him. And Jacob Matthew really needs his daddy. Jirooo..."
Her cries seemed to have rocked through the walls, all the way to the very ears of Jiro’s for he woke up groggily, calling for Selina.
Jiro’s sudden jot back to reality startled the doctors so much that they had to quickly give him another injection of anesthesia to calm him back down so that they can finish operating on him without him having to go through all the pain of closing the large wound.
After the small operation was done, the doctors came out to tell Selina and Doctor Ren that everything was a success before wheeling Jiro to a patient ward next to Selina’s.
Selina went ahead to Jiro’s ward with Jacob Matthew in tow, while Doctor Ren stayed behind to speak to the doctor, who had operated on Jiro.
Inside the ward, Selina bent over to kiss Jiro gently on the cheek before letting Jacob Matthew follow suit.
Selina was just about to sit down with Jacob Matthew in her lap, when she noticed the smile forming on Jiro’s face.
In lightning speed, Selina quickly bended over Jiro to press the ‘help’ button, but Jiro’s hands reached out to still her.
Looking down at his hands holding her, she couldn’t help but to let a slow seductive smile break out over her face.
She sat back down, while Jacob Matthew went to hug his daddy lightly as to not hurt his wound.
A delighted smile appeared on Jiro’s loving face as he enjoyed his son’s hug.
