She started to space out as she looked down at her baby daughter and thought about the baby's father.
As she started to continue on with the story about the baby's daddy, tears started to slide down her already wet cheeks and leave a very wet trail.
"Your daddyyyy...... your daddddyyyy.... was a vvvveeeery.....very handsome man", she choked out "but.... but..."
Tears started dripping down her face at a much faster pace as she thought about what has happened that caused them to separate and the tears started to drift even faster and leave a much wider and wetter trail of tears.
"Your.... your daddy was so loving... and caringgg.... until.... untillll one day ... one day... I saw my best friend ... the one that I thought was my best friend.... was there with him.... heeee.... he cheated on me....." she choked out as tears started to stream down her face before continuing on "so.... so..... I had to leave."
Tears were not only dripping down her eyes now, but pouring out of her eyes and streaming down her face like a river with waves, leaving her face all soaked and washed with tears.
During all this time, her baby daughter had stopped suckling and was instead focusing her wide bright eyes intently at her mommy's tear-stricken face.
The baby's small little chubby red cheeks were wet with Hebe's tears as she focused her full attention on her mommy's facial expression and story.
Hearing her mommy's story, the baby was getting more and more angry by the second at her mommy's best friend and started crying for she wanted both her mommy and daddy to be here and to hold her.
Surprised by the sudden crying of her daughter, Hebe came back to reality and tended to her daughter, trying to calm down her crying daughter.

Tired from all the crying, Hebe finally fell asleep with her baby daughter in her arms.
She was soon deep into her sleep and was dreaming, when she felt someone trying to take something out of her arms.
Jumping awake at once, Hebe saw a nurse trying to take her precious daughter away from her.
At once, Hebe clutched the tiny baby closer to her chest.
Seeing that Hebe is awake now, the nurse began her lecturing "How dare you hold the baby and fall asleep! What will happen if you drop her? Do you know what our consequences will be if you have dropped the baby?”
Not knowing how to answer that, Hebe kept quiet and tried to think of all the possibilities of what will happen if she had lost her only relative.
It was only when the baby started crying that Hebe lowered her head to a bow to tend to her daughter and apologized uncertainly "III...........I'm sorry."
The nurse saw Hebe's scared face and at once knew that she was scared stiff.
Placing a gentle a hand on Hebe's shoulder, the nurse patted Hebe gently, saying "I'm sorry for being so loud earlier, but you really can't go to sleep with your baby in your arms."
Hebe nodded her head in a slight nod of 'yes for understanding'.
The nurse soon left Hebe to a long peaceful sleep after placing the now-sleeping baby into the baby crib and taking it back into the nursery.
