Chapter 1

Short Intro

A girl in a white judo robe with a black belt around her waist flips a guy over her back and the guy falls painfully onto the ground. She held out her hand to help him up. He smiled at her and took her hand. She fixed up her hair and tied it tightly into a pony tail. She said a few things to the few people surrounding her and then they were dismissed. The room was empty with the exception of herself. She strolled over to her bag and took out a bottle of water, she knelt down on one knee and unscrewed the cap and drank from it. She wiped her forehead with a small white towel and continued drinking. Suddenly, all the lights were turned off. She brought the bottle away from her lips and looked around the half dark room. The sun was setting and there was only a little bit of light seeping in from between the half closed blinds.

She didn't move. She stayed kneeling on the floor. She heard some light footsteps from behind her. She could tell that the person, whoever it was was about five feet away from her now, the person was moving closer and closer. She slowly put down the bottle in her hands onto the floor and placed both hands on the ground. The person is now right behind her. She suddenly kicked her feet off the ground and held herself up with her hands. She kicked her feet out behind her. The man grabbed one of her legs and twisted it. She spun her whole body, rotating 360 degrees three times switching from one hand to another. She used her free leg and swung it up and kicked the man in the face. He let go of her leg. She landed on the ground and quickly got up. She held her fists close to her chest and glared at the intruder.

The intruder smirked back at her. He charged forward and she also launched herself forward. She swung out a punch and he ducked it. He kicked out, but she blocked it with both hands before his foot made contact with her stomach. She jumped back a little and she threw a kick at his head. He hit her leg back down, but she immediately kicked him with her other leg. This time he didn't manage to dodge or to fight back. He was kicked on the side and he stumbled sideways. He turned to her again and smirked. He ran towards her with both fists ready. He threw both of them out at the same time and caught both of them skillfully and threw them outward. She then grabbed the collar or his shirt and the belt of his pants, she turned herself around and she threw him over her back and he landed with a thump onto the matted floor. He groaned with pain.

He looked up at her and smiled. She shook her head and held out her hand to help him up. She pulled him up with all her might and he managed to get up to his feet again, but then she felt something touch her side. She looked down and saw her opponent holding his two extended fingers at her side like a gun.

"Bam," the man exclaimed and then retreated. "You're still like that Tavia," he said. "But you're still an amazing fighter," he said and threw a few punches in the air.

"Of course! You'd be too if you started learning Thai boxing when you were four, three years of kick boxing, and you're a black belt in Judo," she said and folded her arms in front of her chest. She looked at him with a weird expression. ¡°When did you come back Ron?¡± she asked.

"This morning," he said and turned the lights back on.

"You should have told me, that way I wouldn't be shocked to see you," she said.

"Well, I wanted to give you a surprise," he smiled at her.

"Surprise given," she snapped.

"And Derek called me back anyway," he shrugged and sat down. "Got anything to drink here?" he asked.

"Water," Tavia chucked him a bottle of water. He unscrewed it and drank from it. "Derek called you back too?" she thought. "I wonder who is it this time," she said.

Ron shrugged and kicked his shoes off. He slouched down on the chair and rested his head on the back of the chair. "I'm so tired, sometimes I think of quitting," he said.

Tavia looked sadly down at her feet. "Yeah, so have I," she said softly. Ron looked over at her and saw her unhappy expression.

"Thinking about him again?" he asked. Tavia didn't answer him. He got up from the chair and walked suavely to her. "Well, I've told you over a million times that I'm always available," he winked at her.

Tavia laughed. "Thanks," he hit him on the back. "It's ok, find yourself another girl," she said.

"You know that I like you, but it's just a shame that you don't like me back. We'd make such a cute couple," he chuckled and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "We'd be the cutest couple and partner," he laughed.

"Right..." Tavia rolled her eyes.

"I was just joking," Ron took his arm off her. "But, remember!" he laughed and pointed at himself. Tavia rolled her eyes up and nodded her head with a smile. She hadn't been so happy in a while, Ron had left to Canada a while back because he had to finish off some work, and the past three months Ron wasn't here, it was just her to herself. She and Ron had known each other for a long time. Her father used to be the leader of a gang and Ron's father used to be one of his right hand men. They were separated after Tavia's dad died when she was eight and it was by chance that they met again, and even became partners thirteen years later.

that was kind of short wasn't it? well, hope you enjoyed still, Nancy and Raymond hadn't come out yet, Nancy will probably come out in another, two three chaps, and not sure about Raymond yet...
and I changed a little of the forwards, so if you're interested, go check it out, it's nothing big, just added their age, and Nancy is now Philip Sek's 'daughter', and I also added Leila Tong, for yum, but i'll warn you in advance, her character is going to be very small.
