Chapter 24

Surprise Surprise

The day of Brian party came. Angel fixed herself nicely and Brian came to pick her up. "Ready?" he asked as he stood in her doorway. Angel nodded and took Brian's hand. He led her to his car and drove off. "You look nice..," he complimented.

"Thanks..," Angel said, smiling. "You look adorable yourself!" A tinge of scarlet ran across Brian's tanned cheek and he smile.

They reached Brian's mansion. Angel's heart was leaping so loudly that she thought Brian could hear it. "Come on..," Brian said as he took opened the door for her and held his hand out of her. Angel took his hand into hers and got out. Brian close the car door. Together, the two enter the house.

There were already guests, roaming the place. People were slow dancing, some were talking and laughing, holding refreshments.

"Who are you looking for?" Angel asked as she saw Brian looking around.

"Oh...I'm looking for my friend Lee...," Brian said. "That's all...don't worry..."

"Hm..," Angel said, "who is Lee?"

Brian smile. "My work partner. He's very jokative and friendly. You'll like him...hopefully only in a friend way," he added and Angel hit him in the stomach with her elbow playfully. Brian laughed.

Then a sweet song came on.

"Let's dance..," Brian said as he took Angel's hand. He led her to the dance floor, right into the middle of it and pulled her close. He smell perfect with his cologne.

Angel put her arms around Brian's neck and he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"You know..," Brian said, chuckling. "When couples dance...they don't dance one inch apart..." Angel blushed. Brian pulled her in all the way until the two were skin to skin with clothes on. Angel rest her head on Brian's shoulder.

"In the future..," Brian said, "if we ever get marry...I'll love you forever..." Angel smile as she backed away and stared at Brian.

"Don't jump to conclusion..," she teased. "Who knows? What if I run away with someone..."

Brian smile. "Then I'll follow you and lock you up in a dungeon. I'll stay there with you forever..." Angel laughed and Brian chuckle.

The door to the mansion opened and Lee enter, wearing a black suit. His eyes shift around for Brian and saw him dancing with a girl.

"Must be his fiancee, Angie," Lee murmured, smiling. He made his way to the refreshment.

Brian caught sight of him. "LEE!!" he shouted. Angel stop dancing. Brian took Angel's hand and led her to Lee. Lee turned around. Angel looked at the ground, shy.

"Hey Brian..," Lee said, smiling.

"Lee...this is Angie! Angie, Lee!" Brian introduce.

"Hi..," Lee said, stucking his hand out for a handshake. Angel took his hand and smile. She looked up and her heart stop.

Lee's heart jump a beat.

"Omg..," Angel whispered.

"Can't be..," Lee said.

"Minwoo..," Angel said.
