"Angel," Minwoo started.
"Get out!" Angel shouted, a sudden rage to her voice.
"Angel-"
"Why are you back?" Angel demanded.
Minwoo looked away. Eric walked up to Angel. "Happy birthday," he said. Angel blinked. "Sorry if we have caught you off guard...or if we have tied up your guards to get here!" He grinned at her. Then his eyes landed on Dongwan. "Sup, Wan." Dongwan smile and Eric held his hand out to him.
The two manly hug. Then JunJin walked up to Dongwan and they also greeted each other. He turned to Angel. "Long time no see, Angel," he said. Angel looked away. Hyesung walked up to Angel.
"Hey, happy to see us again?" he asked.
"No," was Angel's soft answer. Hyesung ignore it and hugged her. "Oh!" Angel cried, surprise by the hug. Then Hyesung greeted Dongwan. Andy walked up to Angel.
"Happy birthday nuna!" he said. Angel smile. Andy, somehow, always cheer her up.
Then it was Minwoo. He walked up to Angel. "Happy birthday, Angel. Sorry if I got nothing for you. We kinda came without knowing." But Angel wouldn't look at him. Her heart was fill with mixed emotions between Dong Wook and Minwoo.
Mr. Kim cleared his throat. "Perhaps you five would like to stay with us for a while?" he asked.
"Sure!" Andy answered.
"Andy!" JunJin hissed.
"What?"
Mr. Kim gave a smile. "Good, well, Dong Wook, Kimmi, these boys are known as Shinhwa. They are, Mun Eric, Lee Andy, Shin Hyesung, Park JunJin, and Lee Minwoo."
Dong Wook and Kimmi nodded. But then Angel turned and walked off. "Angel!" Dong Wook shouted. Minwoo's eyes landed on him. Angel ignored it and continued walking. Dong Wook rushed after Angel. He caught up with her. "Angel."
"Leave me alone!" Angel cried.
"Angel, what's wrong?" Dong Wook asked. Angel stared at him. "Who are they? How do they know you?"
Angel looked away. "They...," she said. "They're Shinhwa."
"I know that but...how would you know some gangster?"
"Minwoo...he...he was my boyfriend," she told him.
"Your WHAT!?" Dong Wook cried. Angel stared at Dong Wook.
"It's a long story," she said.
"You mind telling?" Dong Wook asked. Angel sighed and the two walked outside. Angel sat on the curb of the street while Dong Wook stood, leaning his back against the streetlight pole.
"Minwoo...we met when they had kidnapped me," Angel started. "It wasn't like those regular kidnapping. They were gangsters, but my cousin was one of them."
"Dongwan?" Dong Wook guessed.
"Yes," Angel said. "I lived with Shinhwa under the guardian of Minwoo...."
Angel then unfolded her past life to Dong Wook: the three love triangle, the leaving, the confession, the burning, the scars, the tears, the murder, the kidnapping, and everything. She then finished it about the part where Minwoo had left her.
"He left me...and scarred me," Angel said. "I guess...I guess I went cold again towards boys..." She gave a light smile. "Until you came along, Dong Wook." She stared at him and Dong Wook stared back. "It wasn't until you came along that I became nice again...." Dong Wook gave a small smile.
"You still love him don't you?" Dong Wook asked and Angel nodded. "I...I got a question...do you love me?"
