On this day, of the new semester there were three new students on this particular day who we'll be following. One boy and two girls. The boy was a shy one...a bit nerdy if you will. With thick glasses, oily hair, and a weird fascination with mangas. His name was Hyo. The first new girl, could've been his female counter part, except she was a little easier on the eyes. She was just as quiet and just as socially awkward as the boy, her name was Sanny. The last girl, was a bit on the chubby side. She wasn't really shy...but then again she wasn't very approachable either. She had an angry aura about her...or maybe that was her intention. Either way...she seemed like a jerk. Her name, Maki. The three sat in the office waiting to receive their schedules. Maki sat in between them. She looked over at the boy and nodded once to him. He slid his glasses up his nose and grinned. She then turned to the girl, "Hi." she said the girl cowered deeper into the chair and nodded at Maki. Maki sighed, "What a great start to the first day..." she sighed to herself.
"Park, Maki your schedule is ready." Maki nodded to the secretary behind the desk, she grabbed her bag and went to pick up her schedule, just before she walked out of the office she turned to the other two.
"Hey you guys have a great day today ok?" she said. The boy waved to her and grinned, the girl gave her a tight lipped smile and then coward further into her seat, "I wonder how much further she can go into her chair..." Maki thought, she shrugged and went to go find her homeroom.
Maki walked down the hallway, everyone stared at her, she could already hear the whisperings begin. She didn't care this was already her 3rd new school of the year, it was routine. She probably wouldn't even be sticking around for the end of the semester the way her track record was going. No she wasn't a bad ass kind of kid. Her dad was just always on the move ever since the death of her mom 4 years ago. He couldn't stay situated in one place, there was always something new that he had to try. Maki didn't care just as long as she got to be with her dad, she was happy. She reached her homeroom and walked up to the teacher, a handsome man. Too handsome to be a high school teacher, but what did she care?
"Ahh the new kid." he stated.
"Park, Maki. Reporting for the first day of class."
"Glad to have you here Maki. I'm Prof. Cho. Would you like to be introduced to the class?" Maki turned and looked at the class, they were staring at her.
"Nope." she said and turned back to him.
"Uhmm..ok. Well your seat is back in the back...sorry but we've already picked assigned seats for the semester." he said with a apologetic smile.
"Thank you." she said and went to take her seat. Maki sat down and felt a pair of eyes buring holes into the side of her head. She slowly turned to face the person staring at her. A pretty boy with a wide grin was staring at her and waving. Maki nodded to him and turned back towards the front.
"Hi I'm Junsu!" he said excitedly.
She turned to face him again, "Hi...Maki."
"Nice to meet you! Let's be friends!" he said loudly. She gave him a weird look. He laughed an unusual laugh, "Eu kyang kyang!! GREAT!" he turned towards the person to his right and started talking with them. She sighed, thankful that THAT was over. She turned towards the front and the other new kids she met in the office walked into the classroom. She watched as they both made their way back towards Maki. She waved at both of them. The girl bowed and took the seat in front of her and the boy took the seat on her left, after he waved to Maki.
The day passed by slowly, but finally it was half over and lunchtime. People were still staring at her as she walked the hallways and into the cafeteria. As she grabbed her lunch she passed by a huge table filled with just gorgeous people. "HEY MAAAKKII!!" she heard a familiar voice yell out to her as she passed the table. She stopped and turned to her left, the pretty boy from her class earlier was waving wildly to her. She gave him a weak smile and nodded once. "Want to sit with us?!" he called out to her, she looked at the girl who was clinging desperately to his arm, a sort of rage in her eyes. Three other utterly gorgeous beings were around him with girls clinging to them as well. The girls stared at her.
She knew that look and there was no way she was going to fall for that. She shook her head and gave him a fake smile and pointed to the end of the cafeteria. She waved and walked off, "Fuckin' A..." she muttered to herself.
