"Is something on my face?" she asked with a horrified look on her face.
"No...but you're...not like yesterday. You seem less shy?" Maki asked.
She gave a sheepish laugh, "Sorry. I'm usually like that...but you've been really nice to me and Hyo too."
Maki shrugged, "At least you're talking loudly...that thing you did yesterday was weird."
The three chatted and learned more about each other as they waited for the bell. They were having a great time learning more about each other that Maki didn't realize that Junsu was sitting at her desk and listening in. He had his head propped in his hands like an angel pose and was grinning, Sanny and Hyo stopped talking.
"What?" Maki asked, Hyo pointed next to her, she turned slowly and came face to face with Junsu.
"HIII!"
"Yah, it's not nice to eavesdrop." Maki said.
He giggled, "But you guys were having such a fun conversation! I didn't want to interrupt! Include me in more! I want to know more about you guys too!" Prof. Cho came in and Junsu moved back to his desk. Hyo, Sanny, and Maki stared at one another. She just shrugged and they both turned around to the front. Homeroom ended and she bid farewell to her two friends until lunchtime.
She walked into her second class, but the desk that she used yesterday was being occupied today so she went to the back. She sat down and stared at the front, not paying attention to anything around her. She did however notice that the person next to her was sleeping soundly. So soundly in fact that he even had his own pillow. She shook her head and took out her text book. The professor came and and started calling out roll. "Kim, Jae Joong." she called out. No one claimed the name. "Kim, Jae Joong?" Maki looked around the class, wondering who the idiot could be.
She caught sight of a tall younger looking guy with his dark hair pulled back in a funky ponytail. He motioned to the sleeping guy next to her. She jutted her chin out to the sleeping guy. The younger guy nodded and mouthed, "Wake him up." She shrugged and poked the sleeping guy, nothing. She rolled up a magazine that was in her messanger bag and whacked him in the back of the head.
He jumped up straight out of his chair, "MY NAME IS KIM JAE JOONG!" he yelled out in English. The classroom erupted into laughter, Maki quickly turned to the front and acted as if nothing happen. His eyes opened, "What the hell?" he looked at the girl next to her, she wasn't paying him any attention. He looked over at Changmin, he was laughing so hard that one of his eyes had gotten bigger than the other.
"Pabool.." Maki muttered under her breath.
Class ended and Maki grabbed her things to leave, before she could walk out someone grabbed her elbow. She turned around. The guy next to her was holding onto her elbow, she got a clear look at his face. He was beautiful...stunning...gorgeous.
Like a Korean God.
He had the palest skin and his light brown hair with highlites were amazing. He had the nicest set of lips and the most intense set of grey eyes. Wait grey eyes? Hmm. Interesting.
"YAH! WHY DID YOU WAKE ME UP?!" Jae Joong yelled at her.
Her image of him, died instantly.
She jerked her arm from him, "Not my fault, he told me to do it!" she pointed to Changmin. "Yell at him." Jae Joong turned to look at Changmin, she took this opportunity and bolted from the classroom. Jae Joong turned around, only to find an empty space in front of him. He went over to scold Changmin.
By the time she made it to the cafeteria for lunch she was exhausted and the uniform was so damn stuffy. She tugged at the tie, "Stupid school uniforms...makes me look like I'm asking for trouble..." The girls' uniforms didn't seem to fit standards. Her fingertips reached past the length of the skirt and the knee high socks, don't get her started on that...and why were the shirts extra tight? They looked like Japanese Lolitas, the Korean high school students version. "One false move fattie...and the world get more of you than they bargained for..." she said to herself. Regardless, Maki wasn't extremely fat. Hell she was too fat to be skinny and too skinny to be plus size. She seemed to make her own category 'Fat-inny'. But compared to the girls here, who were probably a size 0 or less, she was obese...Shamu the whale even. She made it to the table and there seemed to be a dark cloud over Sanny and Hyo. They were both staring at their plates, when Maki came over they looked up and had the scariest expessions on their faces.
"What's wrong with you guys?" she asked concerned.
"We both heard a rumor...but we're not sure if we should believe it...and we're scared to ask." Hyo said.
Maki gave them a confused look and sat down slowly and Sanny started to explain, "I heard from some of the other new kids that by next week we're going to be recruited for the groups." she whispered & leaned in.
"Yeah this week is their observation week, they watch us like rats and if their are any groups that are interested in us next week they'll ask us to join them." Hyo whispered and leaned in as well.
Maki leaned in further, "Why the hell are you guys whispering?"
"Because we don't know if its true...and these people could kick our asses." Hyo said, looking around at the different tables. Maki looked over the two and around the cafeteria, maybe it was coincidence..but how did she miss the seperation in groups? The way they dressed or had an item signifying who they were or what group they belonged too.
"That's just stupid you guys." Maki sat back and looking at them.
Their faces said other wise, they started to explain to Maki the Queenie Jjang and KingKa roles and who were leading the pack right now. She looked over to the table. The girls of Red Hanna all wore a bright red accessary and the DBSK boys had a similar necklace around their necks. She was too far away to be able to see it well. "Don't think too much about it you guys, I'm pretty sure it's just a bunch of social misfits trying to gain popularity."
"Thats not the problem..." Sanny said with fear.
"What is then?"
"They'll do anything to make you join them...girls and guys alike. If you don't make a decision in the allotted time or if too many of them are interested in you, it becomes a huge problem. They'll do whatever it takes to make you join the group. Fighting, extortion, blackmail...you name it they'll do it." Hyo explained.
Maki rolled her eyes, "C'mon you guys. We're the new kids and you got all your information from other newbies. It's probably a horror story that they tell all the new kids to give us something to worry about for the next month or so. Don't think too much about it ok?"
They looked at her, she was calm...and they relaxed as well. If she said to relax then they would...for now.
School ended for the day and the girls of Red Hanna sat around a local cafe. "So have you guys seen any new potientials to the gang?" Ae-Cha asked.
"Yeah, that one really quiet one with the curly hair." Song stated.
"You mean that one that sits with that nerdy boy with the oily hair and fattie at lunch?" Hye Su asked aloud. Eun nodded.
"Yeah! She's cute! She'd look great in our club." Yuri said excitedly.
"What's with the face Eun?" Hye Su asked.
"I don't like the fact that Junsu is too friendly with that fat one." she stated her frustration.
"Do you want us to fix that?" Ae-Cha asked.
"Can we?"
The other girls nodded, "Definitely, we can't let her try to mess with any of our guys. She has another thing coming...we'll wait till next week. We'll have our chance then." The girls plotted against Maki.
Maki sat in the living room, as a cold shiver ran through her body. "What the hell?" she asked and held herself. She shook her head and continued with her homework.

Muahaha thats it for now...actually I'm almost done with this story but I figure an update overload may be too much. Blame it on the fact that it took me a month to be able to make a new account. hahaha JK
